I am getting married next year in Oct. and I know there are talkes of the ships being rerouted for a time ... does this mean I should assume that there will be no Western Cruise ...

Will I be satisfied with a 7 day/land and sea package if it is my first cruise and we absolutely love hte parks?

7-day cruises are already released for Oct. 2005. Although the dates do not show up on the schedule, you can still book the cruises even online. Also DU and Allseas can give you a quote. It is the summer of 2005 under question. I think the 7-day Western would be a fabulous honeymoon! We already booked our Dec. 2005 cruise through DU. Their price beat DCL and AllSeas.

Congrats on your upcooming wedding!! What a perfect way to have a honeymoon. Oh I am jealous. We went to the Black Hills and slept in our car cause we ran out of money. Nothing wrong with the Black Hills mind you, but a Disney cruise that is wonderful!

Yes there will be a Western cruise in Oct 2005. 2 of them. We are thinking of going on the 22-29th Western cruise. The talk is that the Magic is going to the West coast for DL 50th from June to Sept 1. No announcement as of yet.

Have a great time.

Hi dopeychik !! congrats on your wedding too !!

We are getting married October 1st so we are looking at being in Disney from like October 3rd until two weeks after that

are you planning on going on the Western ..? what day will you be leaving on that ?

What resort are you planning on staying at?

we're getting married the 22 two years to the day he proposed (in disney) ::MickeyMo

we are hoping to do a week in disney followed by the 7 day cruise (whichever that may be) seems so long but im sure it will be here sooner than we'd think

as for resorts, i think we might try to go for a moderate. i would love polynesian but dont know if id want to use that much money for a hotel
im leaning towards the carribean resort.

i definatly want a verandah though!!

We haven't even had our first cruise yet (4/05) and have booked our second for 10/22/05 (no kids this time!). Anniversary get-away, October seems to be a popular month for weddings!

Congratulations!
Unfortunately, the Magic is going into dry dock from Oct 1-14, so there are no 7 day cruises during that time.
