Heidi I have lived in the middle for oh...18 years. It has been fine except for the past year and a half. Then the weirdo child moved in. Occaisionally I hear the television or stereo blaring or they nail things in the walls around midnight. Otherwise nothing. Another plus is lower heating bill!!!

Denine-I knew you didn't mean a real car but it did read kinda funny.

Good thing the weekend is here. I couldn't have taken another day of work!! Covering for 4 supervisors! One good think...I don't have to see the nut associate for a week!!!

Didn't have time to post this morning. But, I wanted to.

We went to Nakato's for dinner. Today is our 16th anniversary. Paul was out of town most of the day and I was at work so a family dinner out was just what we wanted.

I went by to see baby Morgan after work for a few minutes. I just needed another baby fix!

I have to go to a baby shower for my niece tomorrow and my Mom is flying in tonight from Germany. She has been over there since June and I have really missed her. She and her husband have been doing a lot of traveling but she is ready to come back home for a while. I don't know if I mentioned it or not, but I think we are going to go to Germany next summer. I want to make sure Turner gets a trip to see where his Grandma has been living half the year before they decide to finally sell their house in Germany and settle here permanently.

I'll check back in tomorrow.
Later!

Also, for the wine chat tomorrow, we can use my toll free conference line again. Just let me know who will joining in and I will PM you with the conference line number and passcode. Once I activate the call with my leader code, you will be taken off hold and put through. I'm looking forward to chatting with everyone again.

Love you guys!
Later!

Hi all! Had a day from HE**!!! Didn't nake it over to Denine's today (long story). So sorry for that Denine!

I really need the wine chat! I'll be looking forward to it!

Happy Anniversary everyone!! :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I will be there for the wine chat. Really looking forward to it!

Happy Anniversary all!

Well, No water. Water main break in our development. Water company shut off water so probably no water until Monday when it can be repaired. Pam doesn't know yet that I will be moving into her spare room tomorrow so I am not ripe at work come Monday!

Got the info on wine chat. Thanks Sue!

I guess I will go out somewhere to get something to eat. So much for finishing the Laundry. Got one load done prior to no water.

Gee...what about going to the bathroom!!! It isn't like I can go to my neighbors since they are in the same boat!

Bonnie, ewww, the bathroom is the bad part. Guess you will have to go out and buy those plastic jugs of water. What a pain for you!

We're having a neighborhood party...everyone is outside the front of my next door neighbors watching them dig up the street. Heck...I'm watching the contractor!!!! What a body on a middle aged man!!! Whew!!! Gotta put on my makeup!!!

Hi everyone! Just got back from Anna Marie's cross country race. She did really good! She got her personal best time today! I'm sooooo proud of her!

Bonnie, sorry to hear about your bathroom situation. Just remember you have one flush! Use it wisely!!!

Susan, got the info about the chat tonight. I will be there.

Nothing else new here. Gonna go!

Christmas exchange.... haven't heard from Laurie the lurker and Krista. Also Jeanne, Barb and Patty. Those are the only ones I haven't gotten an answer from. If Ican get their answer by Tuesday, I will do the picks!

Ohh, for ideas for the Lauter crew........ We love anything disney! I'm a big tigger, eyeore, mickey, minnie fan! Anything with cooking or drinking wine!LOL!!!! Garry anything baseball or football (Indians and Browns). The kids.....Garry likes anything Buzz Lightyear or Mickey. Makenzie likes princessses, art type stuff, and the both like books. Brooke.... at this stage anything.

Hope this helps whoever gets us.

I'll post the "rules" again. Is it ok if we say the price for gifts are in the $20-$30 range? It seems like most of us spent more then the $20 last year and this year this should give people the "freedom to buy" what they really want to get people. It is still a nice idea to send an ornament as the family gift and if you want to add "extras" then the price range gives you that flexibility!

Bonnie, did you get that make up on yet? Stacey got on the Magic today and at the Orlando Airport they overheard people talking that the car rental agencies are running out of cars due to the locals renting while getting their cars fixed. Just thought that I would tell you so that you can call Budget to confirm. Hopefully that will save us any grief.

Julie, one flush, use it wisely. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Way to go Anna Marie!!!! I love the Christmas Exchange. Can't wait to go shopping for my family! I have a suggestion for Brooke....a sippy cup!

Susan, got the message.

It is about 5:55 so I better get ready for the wine chat. Talk to you all soon.

Just put Kaleigh to bed and I have my wine. Just wanted to read the board first.

Happy anniversary everyone, including me!

Bonnie: No water, ugghhh!

Enjoyed the chat last night. So good to hear everyone's voices again. Glad Heidi could join us and it was great to hear Jeanne and Joyce from Ocean City!

We are in for the Christmas exchange and the price range is ok for us. We like anything Disney and of course hockey. We like to travel so whoever gets us can feel free to go over the price range and buy us a trip!!HAHA

Went to he baby shower for my niece yesterday and then as you all know we went to a movie. Got a little delayed and had to see a later showing than planned but all worked out and we still got to chat!

Hope you get water soon, Bonnie.

Sally, Barb, Patti and crew - we missed you at the wine chat last night. Hope you are ready for the cruise. Have a great trip!

Denine, Julie and crew - your're running out of time. Get packing!

Have a great day, EVERYONE!
Later!

I knew you were having a wine chat but had no idea how to join you....

Barb is on her way...she went to Denver last night and stayed as they had to be at the airport around 5 and Bob just got home from Germany Friday night and didn't want to have to get up so early to go this morning. So they must be about ready to take off.

We leave Tues. and I am about half packed.....will pack some more today after church. I have been working on my Disney cruise album of 2002 and have it all finished except two pages of all your pictures. Last time I counted I had 97 pages. It is one heavy album!

The weather has been so nice and the trees are turning a beautiful yellow and there are even red leaves this year. That was the one thing I missed about Ohio was the red trees and now this year I get to see some. Must be because we had so much rain...

It is kind of sad though as Dick has been getting the outside ready for winter....he covered the pond, drained the sprinkler system and covered all the patio furniture. Even brought some of my things from the gardens up on the patio. I am not ready for this as it is still very warm and even hot on some of the days..but he said by the time we get back it will be almost Nov.
I cut the lawn Friday to get rid of some of the leaves but the majority hasn't fallen yet.

We got our ballets ready to mail so that is taken care of. Where has this year gone? It wasn't that long ago that Barb was saying only 2 years until the next cruise, then l80 days and now here it is. She is already planning on the next Disney trip in Dec 2005.

Oh, I forgot to tell you....last night we had 3 police officers shot and one run over about 9:30. The reports were not too accurate as it just happened before the news went on the air but Crissy was at ChickfilA on Powers and it happened in the shopping center by the theater which is one the same side of the road and about 3 blocks down.

It seems some guy was trying to pass a forged check at Best Buy a new store that opened a couple days ago and they called the police and he went out of the store shooting. They chased him and he finally crashed his car several miles away on a main road and one of the officers shot him.

Crissy's dad has a police scanner and one of his friends is a policeman so he was kind of keeping up with what was going on...one report said there were two cars involved that was being chased.

One report said one officer died and then another report said they all were in the hospital in stable condition. I hope the last report was right. The guy the officer shot was dead at the scene and they had the chopper out looking for someone. They don't pay the police enough for what they have to face every day they go to work.

Had lots of fun with the wine chat last night!!!

WOW Sally, exciting night at CO Springs.

Going to look at the Single Family Home today, hoping they can get the monthly payment down. We will see!!!!

Good morning, now it is Sandy.

It was great to talk to everyone. Sally, Barb, Patty/Patti you were missed.

Sally, would you please tell Barb when you see her that I emailed her at work, at home and pm'ed her. Please tell her everything is ok. I heard about the excitement in the Springs on the news last night. Wow, Crissy was right there. How scary!

Ted and I are going to walk to the mall today for exercise. He has lost so much weight that we need to start looking at clothes and belts. Atta boy, Ted!!

Sandy just emailed me to see if I was alive :p . Yes, and I'm 14 pages behind!
I missed a wine chat!!!! Ugg, something I could have taken part in. I don't watch any TV anymore so I can't keep up with the reality show opinions, but hey, I can pop a cork! :p
Anyway, Glad that Bob made it back fro Germany, and you guys have a fantastic trip. Katie's having a meltdown so I cant give the full lenght update on the soapopera of the Medina's. I touch back when you are all back. I want to hear (OK, read) all the lively stories of your trips.
Bon Voyage, Hugs, Lori

Lori: Glad to hear from you.

We so enjoyed the wine chat last night. It helps ease the stress of living.

Julie won't post this, but she had a bad experience at Pat Catan's this morning and is feeling miserable. She needs some cheering up. Hence, she won't be coming over today. Maybe tomorrow.

I need to start gathering stuff to pack.

We planted some tulips and daffodils this morning. We naturalized crocus in the front lawn before the sod was put down. I always wanted to do that.

Glad Bob got home safely from Germany and they are on their way for the cruise.

Can't wait to see some of you.

Bonnie: Did you make it up the stairs to bed last night?

I LOVED the wine chat:chat: even though Joyce & I didn't have any wine. It was SOOOO great hearing everyone's voice again. I am now REALLY excited about the cruise:boat:

Went from O.C. to my Aunt & Mom's to make sure they were still alive, bought dinner, etc. My Mom has to go to the Ortho Dr. tomorrow so I will be back over at 9 AM.

Don't hate me but I don't think I am going to participate in the Christmas Gift Exchange. In order to do a really nice job picking out the right things it takes alot of time & I just don't think I will have the time this year.:sad2:

What I couldn't say on the phone last night about the cowboy was I just don't think I feel like dating again yet. He is a really nice guy & I had a great time on the date but Bobby broke my heart:sad1:.

We had the greatest weekend down the shore. I really hated to leave & come home to reality. Hope the chatters don't have hang-overs! :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1. Hope you all have a great week. Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE
