Good Morning

Didn't post yesterday because it took soooo long to load the page I was afraid I would lose everything I typed so I spent the day crocheting at my desk. I am making a "Snuggle Blanket" for Ethan in Buzz colors to match his room. We MOSTLY finished his room. We still need to move Missy out and put up the outlet and light switch covers.

Jaymee called on Sunday but I did not get to talk to her since I had already left for church. She told Missy that she was able to shave her legs for the first time in 5 weeks EWEEEEEEE She was pretty excited that she got to shave and wear her blues.

We leave tomorrow to go see her.

My Mom had to take my Dad to the emergency room again a couple of nights ago. He was in a lot of pain. Not sure what was wrong with him but he seems better now. He is on some heavy duty pain killers and can not drive. They are going to go down to Texas the same time as us so Jason can drive their van. I feel much better knowing they are not out on the roads alone.
I glad he still wants to go down there. It is going to mean SOOOO much to Jaymee to have them both down there. Lots of prayers and Pixie dust for my Dad's health.

Prayers and pixie dust for Dick's health getting better. I hope he feels better soon.

Unfortunately I know what it is like to not shave for 5 weeks. Whenever I get my legs waxed, I have to go 5 weeks without shaving to get the correct hair length for waxing. Of course I did it last summer before the big vacation so it was impossible to not wear shorts!!!

Barb: It is amazing what they put the recruits through in basic, but I guess they know what they are doing. That being said, 5 weeks without shaving....yuck! When I had my body cast, even my brother shaved my legs for me a couple times. I can't imagine.

I hope Dick is OK. Wonder what caused the pain?

Barb: You have to take tons of pictures of Jaymee's graduation and post them.

Heidi" I am glad you didn't tax yourself too much ordering that present.

I signed on to look for paczki recipes. Jerry said I need to learn to make them. I said his mom just needs to give m the recipe, but I did find several. They all included some kind of spice (mace or nutmeg) or a peel (orange), which Iknow she doesn't put in hers. If her recipe calls for that stuff, I bet she took it out because no one would eat it. She does that with her babka too. Today is Fat Tuesday and paczki is traditional fare, it is a Polish donut filled with some time of jam, tradition calls for prune. It is too late for me to make paczki, but I don't know if Jerry's mom made any.

Tonights dinner is in the crockpot. Chicken with French onion and cream of chicken soup and white wine. It smells yummy. I am having wild rice and green beans for sides. I am hungry.

Got the results back from my bone density and I have osteopeni. I drink milk, take vitamins and calcium and still come up with it. Sheezzzz!!!!

I have to quick read and post before Zoe gets here this morning because after the baby gets here nothing gets done!

BARB: Your Dad is in my prayers. I am so happy to hear he is going to Jaymees graduation. I know it will mean so much to Jaymee. Ethan's room sounds great!

SANDY: I got the results of my Bone Density Scan and I have "osteopeni" too! You know I DON'T drink milk but I have been taking 1200 mg. of Calcium along with a Multivit. every day. My Dr. put me on Fosamax D now. Did yours? So you had a great time in Mexico?

DENINE: We are warming up here too!

Went to competencies at work Monday, worked yesterday with Joyce (and we did go to Los Amigos), off today and babysitting (which I love), off tomorrow (I thought I had to work) and then work Friday.

No Rob and Amber for me, Heidi. I am hoping for the black couple where last time the lady shaved her head. Sorry, I don't know their names yet. Still getting a big kick out of the male friends who bicker. They are just too funny. I think one of their names is Drew....the other???

Jeanne, I was not put on Fosamax yet. I wonder if your numbers were worse than mine. I think my highest was a 1.8. As you know I AM A MILK DRINKER plus I take calcium with vitamin D so this came as a surprise. Bonnie sent me over something last night that said to avoid caffeine so you know what that means, I have to try and quit drinking so much pop.

Just realized that Barb must be gone. Wasn't she leaving today?

I just gave up the PC cruises. With the free trip to the Dominican Republic I felt that Ted couldn't play catch up with his vacation time. I am only somewhat sad. You would think I would be really sad. Guess what helps me is knowing that we have already cruised through it before.

Yep, Barb was leaving today for Texas.

Dinner was sooo yummy last night and it was only 5 points (the chicken) on weight watchers. The wild rice was 3 points and the green beans 0 points.

Went to the mall last night. I had to get out.

I am without all of my rings except my wedding band. They all have loose stones and I don't want to lose any. I guess we will go back up to the mall Friday evening and get them in to be fixed. I hate gloves. That has to be the reason.

Jerry won't be home until late.

I just want to run away. Did I say that yesterday?

Has anyone seen the previews for the movie with Tim Allan, John Travolta and a couple others I can't remember the names of? They go on a biker trip and none of them are bikers. I haven't heard the commercials because I mute commercials, but it looks pretty funny.

I thought Barb would say goodbye!!! She must be soooo excited to see Jaymee and knowing that Jaymee will be done with all the BS she was put through. Hopefully she gave Jaymee a hug for all of us. Hope Dick is doing better.

Good Morning!!

I would not leave without saying goodbye to my second family!
We are leaving today at 3:00. I am at work only until 10:30 then it is off to my doctor to find out the results of the MRI. I am really anxious to see what is wrong. It has been hurting for 6 weeks and I am ready for some answers.

Denine-Glad it is warming up there. We are also getting a warming trend. I wish it would start raining. I LOVE the rain.

I'm watching the Amazing Race! You guys got me hooked on it a few seasons ago always talking about it. I still like the beauty queen team. I liked them last season and was happy to see them back. I did not realize the black couple was the same one that she shaved her head. I really did like them the few shows I saw them in. They were on before I started watching. I liked their attitude.
Can you believe that hillbilly couple lying to the beauty queens. Mary made me ill last season with her nice niceness. I got so tired of hearing her talk about the 6 pack. Sure burned them in the end.
