Poor Dick. I hate to hear about you guys moving. We will cross our fingers that everythink goes ok for the test. My aren't you the chatty one with almost hitting 1000. LOL

Barb, I booked both cruises and will have to decide soon. I got a cat 9 for Western for 4,093.48 and for Eastern I got 4506.48. The prices if I remember corrrectly are up 500.00-1000.00 from last time. I bet we don't go at all. Don't know if the dudettes are booking or not. Jeanne is at the Poconos and Bonnie is at work.

Heidi, Kelsie and I have been emailing back and forth. I think that she is ok with it.

Good Morning

I am looking at the prices for the 2 cruises and not sure what to do. Did you book Heidi? If we get to go I want to go when I will know some people.

I have to work until 5:00 again today. BLAH! We are training.

I am trying really hard to deal with all this adjustment in my life. Knew it was coming Jaymee & Tiffany leaving home and Missy left today to spend a few weeks with one of her friends. I am not doing well today. I have kept everything bottled up inside. I still have not shed a tear about Jaymee leaving. I still refuse to think on long terms.

Sally: Glad you are feeling much better. I hope Dick's test comes out OK. No, my problems are not related to nursing. I don't lift.

Sandy: I just need to get to Curves. I know if I can get moving, I will lose the weight. We have been pretty good on the WW, just holding steady at this same awful weight.

Yikes! on the PC cruise prices.

Still dizzy today. It is not constant, but it is awful.

We got several inches of snow yesterday but it is sunny today. It is all of 15 outside.

We have been so cold in the house too. I end up turning up the heat in the afternoon. We keep it at 65 and I turn it up to 67.

Kaleigh and I have been planting seeds in school. We will see if any of them grow in about a week. We have been learning about farming. Only 5 weeks of school left.

I can't wait to go to WDW where is will be warm.

Jerry is at a meeting down town today. He won't be home until late since it goes until 5 pm and then he has a class all next week that goes until 5 pm, but at least it isn't down town.

We have to go to a birthday party on Saturday for Jerry's aunt. The bad part is it is on Jerry's birthday, so we can't do anything that day.

Tomorrow we start hauling out garbage at Jerry's mom's house. We really needed to rent a dumpster, yes there is that much to throw away.

Thanks Heidi. I am trying to hold myself together today. I know it will get better and it is a part of life but the pain of having your kids leave is unbearable right now.

Oh my Barb, now Missy too? Once again, I understand your pain!! I really, really feel for you. So do I understand you correctly? You booked both repos like me and then will decide?

Denine, your post made me laugh. Ted and I keep the thermostat at 63 and will boost it if I am real cold to 66 or 68 for a morning or whatever. We snuggle in a blanket to watch TV. I can't believe there are others out there like us!

Hi guys! Been crazy around here (no big surprise). LOVE the snow (sorry Denine). It is soooooooo pretty. I don't like the super cold though! It is suppose to get even colder next week!

Heidi, we would love to do the PC cruise, BUT last PC it was $12,500 for the 5 of us and that is with paying ONLY port charges for Brooke since she was under 3 last time. Can't imagine what the cost of these PC cruises are for us!

Sandy, Garry's foot is still causing problems. He goes back to the dr.'s tomorrow. I had my MRI on my back yesterday. Just waiting for the results now. They gave me my films, so if I could read them, I'd know what was wrong.

Denine, so, you guys coming down for a few days in June? Do I have to harrass you and Jerry again like I did last time? Let's just save the trouble of that and just do it. LOL!!

Garry's dad is back in the hospital. He went in on monday for a dr appointment and radiation BUT when he went to his dr. appointment, his blood pressure was 63 over 59, YES 63 over 59. SOOOOO, they admitted him bacause he hasn't been eating or drink much and to get his blood pressure up. He was on soooooooooo much pain medicine, that because he wasn't flushing them out with fluids and food, he was pretty much "stoned" as the dr. put it. The dr. took him off all his pain meds and told him that if he wanted to just lay in bed and give up that they would put him in hospice and he was done with him OR he could start eating and drinking and MOVING and fight. I guess Garry's dad asked the dr. how long he had to make the decision as to which choice he was going to choose and the Dr. said one minute. SO, I guess he is going to try and start eating. It's such a LONG story as to what is going on with him (Garry's brother has created this "helpless" feeling with his dad) and is one of the huge reasons why all this is going on. His brother lives in Michigan and comes down with the "here I come to save the day" attitude and really makes matters worse then better.

Well, gonna go. Have to take the Big Guy to kindergarten!

Oh wow Julie. Your post about Garry's dad was interesting. His blood pressure was unbelievable! You guys were lucky that his Dr was as blunt as he was! Our friend's doctor wasn't and it was hard for us once we really pressured him into telling her the extent of her disease. TED actually had to convince her that there was no help for her after the Doctor finally talked to her. Months went by without the doctor being frank with her so it was hard for her to accept. It's too bad that Garry's brother is messing things up rather than supporting all of you!

Barb, you better book and soon. The prices are skyrocketting. I did read however that they are going up and down. I just checked and our catagory went up by ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!

I had a great time in the Poconos. First tubing with Bonnie & going to Karaoke. Then Mary came up and hurt her ankle the first ride down the hill on the tube. So no skiing I guess you know what we did do - shop, shop, shop. We saw Dreamgirls too and I really loved it. Jennifer Hudson stole the show.

SANDY: I read your posting when I got on the computer but the rates were already up to like $5,500.00 for two people/inside cabin. Unless the rates go down I don't think I will be able to talk Joyce into almost $3000.00.

I am going to WDW this December from December 9th to the 15th. I couldn't resist. I got an advertisement for 40% off room rates. The rooms at All Stars were $49.00 a night! I booked at All Stars Movies. I am going to Disneyland the end of June and I want to stay at one of the three Disney Hotels at least a few nights so I am waiting for a quote on that one.

I REALLY want to go on the Panama Canal Cruise East to West. I am hoping for a big lottery win $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$4

Remember that Joyce is going to be a grandmother not one but twice this year so I don't know how she will feel about leaving her new babies.

I guess I am going to have to give in and have me knee looked at. I have been suffering with it for about a year but the past couple of months it has been really painful. I can hardly walk. I keep thinking the swelling will go down and it will get better but nope. MAN I DON"T LIKE 40 SOMETHING!

I understand your pain. It is one of the worst pains I have ever dealt with.
Orthoscopic surgery....hurts really bad for a couple weeks and then life is AMAZING after. I had to do it 4 years ago and I have not had a problem with that knee yet (knock on wood). The other one is bad now but I can't imagine going through the surgery with the babies so young. Hopefully when they get older and can take care of themselves I will have the other knee worked on.
