Hey, how about you, me and Heidi get a cabin? Boy that would be fun!
Count me in!!! That would be so much fun!! :flower:  :Pinkbounce

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TURNER!!! :cheer2: :bday: :cake: :thewave:

Julie - will GI Garry ever let his knee heal? No light duty, that guy sounds like a jerk.

Denine - I think you should buy the metal swing set, I had one and it lasted through the abuse of a bunch of kids!!!

Sally - your backyard sounds like heaven, how relaxing!!!

The weather is yucky today, overcast and looks cold outside....what happened to our sun? I want the sun back. :sunny:

Thanks for the advice on the swing set guys. I was just surprised at how cheap the metal ones are now. We had a metal one and it was fine. These are so flimsy. I am guessing Kaleigh would be happy with anything as long as it is in her own backyard. Jerry is going to take her to the park to play later so I can have some peace. Kaleigh has been a bear for 3 weeks now and I am at my wits end. At least she is doing really well with the potty.

Julie: I was hoping that Garry had just tweaked his knee, but it sounds like he did more damage then that. WDW will be fun!

Sally: I will take you up on your offer as well!

Happy birthday Turner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At least it is sunny today and a very little bit warmer.

Julie: Maybe we should make a trek to WL for lunch where we could have some fun and remember good times.

Sandy: Children 3 months to 3 years do not pay cruise fare, just port taxes so the babysitting is a fee of $6 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours at a time. Kids older than that are charged a fare, so this includes the kids clubs. It is still cheaper to pay for the babysitting.

Jeanne: Good luck on your test! Hoping for better weather.

I weighed in today and didn't lose anything. Jerry did lose 1#, so he has lost 8 pounds, I think.

Neonatal Advanced Life Support is done & I passed. Now I don't have to worry about it for two years! CPR next year. :rolleyes2 I guess this is one of the advantages Bonnie has in her job.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TURNER :bday: :cake:

JULIE: Tell Garry to take it easy! That knee will never heal!

Just wanted to pop-in & tell you all the good news. Toodles  :genie: JEANNE

:cheer2: Way to go Jeanne. I bet you feel like a load was lifted off you!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TURNER !!! :cool1:

Denine, I have learned so much from you. I didn't realize that kids were free up to 3 years and only had to pay port taxes. I guess babysitting fees are nothing then!!!!!! :flower:

Heidi, how are you feeling today?

And now Julie, :grouphug: Gosh, you need more than a grouphug but that is the best I can do for you long distance. Poor Garry. I remember how bad it was in 2002 and now they are pulling the same crap. OH HICKORY !!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Sally, I loved your post. :rotfl: a little drunk but not stressed.

It is going to be a very :cold: cold weekend but hey who cares???? We are finally away from the house. I was at the campground over night last night and woke up to VERY heavy fog and drizzle. Cold and I mean it was cold. Had to turn on the electric blanket and the 2 furnaces.

I am going crazy here so will post what I have. I am running on 2 IM's and I just can't handle it. Eugene is one of them for you people who know him.

Good Morning. Thanks for the all the Birthday wishes for Turner. He thinks its pretty cool that you all remembered and we are all still together. (So do I!) OH HICKORY!!

I am in the home stretch for school activities. If we can just get through next week. I am only working Tuesday, and 1/2 days on Wed-Fri because of all the stuff planned: 5th grade pool party Wed. afternoon, 5th grade bridging Thurs. afternoon, and last day of school celebrations on Fri. afternoon. Whew!!!

This week's traffic is crazy! We have all the NASCAR fans in town. It started a week ago but builds up to so many this week. We end up with virtual gridlock on my side of town. This evening is Pole Night so I have no idea how long it will take me to get home this afternoon!!!

So you all will know, I have ulcerative colitis and have been in a remission state for quite some time but the last couple of months I have had a horrible flare up. I have just been wiped out! My meds have changed a couple of times and this week I had an allergic reaction to one I had taken before but not in the large doses he had me on this time. So, off that and on something else now. I just wanted you all to know why I am not on the boards so much. I usually just get on the couch or go to bed as soon as I have everything done that has got to be done after work. This just isn't the easiest disease to talk about, even with family! With that said, I've cancelled our Germany plans because I know I will be miserable in a foreign country and won't always know where the closest restroom is. Maybe next year! OK, enough on that subject!

Barb, thanks for sending me pictures of Ethan. He is so cute. I know you are so proud of him. Go ahead and spoil him. That's your job!

Julie - Sorry to hear about GI Garry. I hope he still has a good time at Disney. Sneding pixie dust!

Congats, Jeanne. I know you are thrilled to have that test behind you. Now you can focus on fun and weddings!

Sally, I would love to come sit in your backyard. It sounds like a very relaxing place to sit.

Sandy and Heidi - enjoy the break at the campground. You guys need a little rest - you're gonna have babies to love on soon! Prayers and pixie dust continue your way for Ted's Dad.

Has Bonnie already left for Florida? I can't remember when she was going.:confused3
Bonnie - if you haven't left yet, have a great time. If you have already left, you will read this when you return so I hope you had a great time!!

Gotta get ready for work. Everyone have a great day!
Later!

CPR next year. :rolleyes2
The last time I took this class, I almost got fired and lost my job!!!! Great memories!!! It was all my best friend Taura's fault, I was just guilty by association.

Okay, what is "oh hickory"? :confused3

Taura took me out for my birthday last night and we sat outside upstairs on the patio. Beautiful view of the mountains and watching the sunset, but I am sure paying for it today. I cannot stop coughing and sneezing and my stuffy nose got worse, I don't think the cold breeze helped out my cold!!! Chris told me to bring a jacket, but did I listen to him.......NOOOOO!!!

Today is my Friday, I am getting off at 1:00 to get some things done and steal my mom away when she gets rid of the kids.

Mom - I ran into Doug this morning and I asked if he was going down this weekend, he said yes tomorrow night and I said HA I am going down tonight and then he said well I didn't see you at work weekend!!!! I told him I was too lazy!!!!!

If I don't get the chance to post again (ya right, this is MY friday I think it is a rule that you don't have to work very hard on your Friday!! :teeth: ) I hope you all have a great weekend and a great Memorial Day!!!

Susan, good to hear from you. Pixie dust your way. Hopefully things will get better SOON for you. What is 5th grade bridging? You must always have the NASCAR race because I remember last year you fought it as well.

You know I was taking a shower this morning and was thinking about Bonnie's trip, too. I am not sure when she leaves either. Julie will know for sure because it is right before her trip. Hey wait, Denine is now going too. What's up with that? Why can't I go?

Last night we went up to the Hospice and a RN stopped me and gave me the biggest hug.....get this, because I was wearing my DCL sweatshirt. She has been on the MAGIC 2 times and is just as crazy as the rest of us here. Her whole family goes with Aunt Clara who was 93 on her first trip. Everyone on the ship including CM's "adopted her as Aunt Clara. She went again at 95 and DISNEY treated them royally. They closed down one of the bars and had a character meet and greet with drinks and food for the family. A few other perks as well. Also, Aunt Clara has to fly alone because she doesn't live here in CO like the rest of the family so as a surprise DISNEY flew her home first class. Isn't that the coolest?

Heidi, looking forward to tonight. I heard through Dad that you took off an hour early. What's for dinner?

Julie, so how is Garry doing? I thought about him all day yesterday.

Barb and Sally, I hope your TV stations are wrong. They are predicting colder weather than Denver's stations....and Monument is always colder than the Spgs or Denver. Yikes, we could be in for some icky camping weather.

The kids just arrived with empty tummies. Better get some breakfast for them. Will check back in later.

Hi Heidi  We just crossed posted. When will you ever learn to dress for the weather? :confused3

Oh Hickory was the best fun we all had together at the Wilderness Lodge Whispering Canyon. Hickory was our waitress and she told us if we needed anything to shout "Oh Hickory". Well, that is exactly what we did. Poor thing was always getting yelled at. The restaurant just looked at our tables like we were a bunch of looney tunes. :rotfl2: I so want to go again with everyone. I never had so much fun as that trip.

Even if it is cold this weekend, I am so looking forward to going to the campground!!! I think it is supose to be nice in Denver, like upper 70's to low 80's.

Thanks for clueing me in on what is "oh hickory", I didn't have a clue!!!!

Thats funny about the RN, all Disney lovers are so much fun and actually understand our love for disney!!!!

Dinner = Mexican restaurant

Good Morning!!

Just realized I didn't even open up this board yesterday! What a slacker.
I was caught up in work.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEIDI!!!!!!! :cake: :bday:

Julie- Sorry to hear about Garry. Pixie Dust to him!!

Happy Birthday Turner!!

Bonnie is going to Disney?? I must have missed that post. Have fun Bonnie!!!

Hi Sandy- :wave2: It is pretty chilly down here today. Hope it warms up this weekend for you! When are we going to meet for breakfast :teeth:
One of your camping trips we should meet at Cracker Barrel for breakfast or lunch

That would be so much fun!!!! Count me in, I'm game :teeth:

Sue: Pixie dust your way. A good friend of ours has Chrohns disease and Jerry has IBS. Hope you get to feeling better.

Sandy: I love the story about Aunt Clara! We nurses need something fun to look forward to with all we have to deal with. It is just fin to be a kid again!

Jeanne: Congrats!!!!!!!

Heidi: Happy Birthday!

I was able to plant my replacement shurbs and the pots in front of the door while Jerry and Kaleigh went to the park last night. It was nice to have some peace. Jerry gets to deal with her tomorrow while I go to work!

We went for a walk today. At least it was better then yeterday's fiasco. All I ended up doing was yelling at Kaleigh because she refused to listen to me.

Going to attempt to light up the grill today and barbeque some chicken.

DO NOT SEND YOUR COLD AIR THIS WAY!!!!!!!!!!!

SUSAN: Those nascar fans can be a little crazy . It was great to read your post.

SANDY: Loved the Aunt Clara story. I wore a new scrub top to work today. It was Mickey & Minnie in a tropical setting. Getting in the cruise :boat: mode
Don't expect me to send any warmth :sunny: your way for the weekend. New Jersey is still cold. You have Ted :love2: to keep you warm!

BONNIE: Where is Bonnie? Is she down in Orlando with my boyfriend Mickey ::MickeyMo ?

I had a great day at work today & tomorrow I volunteered to come in & relieve my friend Mary Lou at 3:00 PM so she could leave for her house in Delaware. Hoping to get all my running :cool1: around done early tomorrow. Working the weekend too. I am going to talk Joyce into going to Los Amigos tomorrow night after work (she doesn't need much talking into). Have a great night. Toodles  :genie: JEANNE

Good Morning

BUrrrrrr it is so cold today! Sure doesn't feel like the beginning of Summer.

Today is Tiffany's last day of school, she has a major final she is stressing out about. Jaymee has started her new job at Joe's Crab Shack. They also own Rainforest cafe. Wooooo Hooooo discounts!!!!

Jason is here for the weekend. He and Michelle have an appointment to look at a place to have their wedding. Hope they decide soon. Places are getting booked already for next year. Missy's wedding is in 2 months. :bride:

Have fun at work Denine.

Barb :teeth:

Can you believe it? The sun :sunny: is out! I almost forgot what sunshine :sunny: looked like but now I am happy & doing the dancing with the banana

Mailed my daughter Summer's bridal shower presents :bride:. The price of mailing packages is getting obsurd. It cost over $25.00 to mail the box & I didn't even get insurance because I didn't want the teacher who is giving the shower to have to go to the Post Office to pick up this box in case she wasn't home when it was delivered. At least that is one more thing off my mind. I still have to "put toether" the basket I am making for my future daughter-in-law's shower but I did order her cake & corsage. :bride: :groom: I need a part time job to go with my full time job$$.
Small problems in comparison to other peoples problems.

Hope the sun :sunny: comes your way too! Have a great Memorial Day Weekend. Oh! I have to put up my flags! Toodles  :genie: JEANNE

TGIF! Had a good day at work and then came home to a crabby child. At least she got better. My parents came over unexpectedly and stayed for a little while. Jerry took Kaleigh over to his parents this evening. Kaleigh got to see both sets of grandparents in 1 day!

Jeanne: GLad you had good days at work and some sun. Enjoy Los Amigos for me!

Barb: Never been to Joe's, don't have one close by. SOunds like you will have a busy weekend.

If we don't get together with Julie on Sunday, we may go to a DISmeet. We went last year and had fun. We are going down to Amish tomorrow. It has been a long time and I am running out of stuff.

Just enjoying my peace and quiet and then the ball game comes on. Wine is in the fridge chilling for later.

Have a wonderfuly Memorial Day weekend and remember all those that have made our freedom possible!

This was truly a day that God made - beautiful weather, great four hours at work, ending with dinner & Margarita's :drinking1 with Joyce. On the way home I called my friend in Las Vegas & told him to go to Bootlegger Bistro for lunch & please tell me your food was wonderful.

DENINE: Is the wine chilling for you & Jerry: :love2:

Everyone must be having a fun weekend ALREADY! Working all weekend. Think of me. Toodles  :genie: JEANNE

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. It's nice to have a long weekend. Just thought I'd check in and say hello.

Later!
