October 19th Cruisers again and again... Part 2

Wednesday – September 6, 2006: Girls going home
(Unfortunately there are no pictures for this day..all these pictures were lost, thanks Walgreens!!)

Never did I expect this day to turn out the way it did. We met my parents and went shopping at Downtown Disney so the girls could spend the rest of their Disney Dollars. When it came time for them to leave I thought I was going to lose it. Fran, Chris’s mom, was flying home with the girls and Jerry was flying home around the same time so we decided it would be a lot easier for me to stay at Disney while Chris took the girls to the airport with the rest of his family and come back to Disney when the plane took off. I never thought the girls would cry as hard as they did saying goodbye. My mom and I were even crying because of how upset they were. They did not want to leave Disney and most of all they did not want to leave me, they were begging for me to come. After many hugs and tears they took them to the airport. I think it affected me for a few hours afterwards, it was the saddest thing I have seen from them.

My parents and I went back to Magic Kingdom because it is a tradition that we have to spend the last night at the MK. Chris got a gate pass so was able to be with the girls until they boarded. He made it back just in time for dinner at Kona. Kona’s food was excellent and very filling…I decided by this time that the dining plan offers way too much food. After dinner we went back to MK to hit our favorite rides and finish shopping. I always hate leaving MK on the last night, it always makes me cry and I can never look back. We got back to All-Stars to do laundry for our upcoming cruises to find out most of the dryers were broken and there was a back-up for dryers. Laundry was done by midnight. Off to bed to be ready for our cruise.

Barb, I was beginning to wonder about you. You didn't post for awhile. I was booed but I don't know how to do it either. I have to wait for Heidi.

Speaking of Heidi, when I get my old computer back or a new one, I want to change my signature. BUT, I want to keep my Jiminy somewhere in case I want to put him back on.

I had a phone mail message from Denine while they were waiting to board the ship. I think they will have the time of their life with the double dip Castaway Cay! I just looked at my watch and it is a half hour away from the boat drill. I might try calling them.

Well, I just got off the phone with both Denine and Julie. Both were in their rooms unpacking. They send their love. I didn't realize that they are on the Western itinerary. Tomorrow is Castaway Cay and then on Friday. Nice!

Today we went to the pumpkin patch to choose out our pumpkins and then we went throught the corn maze twince. It was a lot of fun, pumpkin prices were reasonable.

Thought I better post so we don't get lost on the community board. Had brunch with Heidi and Chris at Armadillo today. We then met someone up at our other house. She bought some shelves from us. She has a friend who wants to rent a house so she asked if we are interested in renting it. She will check with her friend. We think we might do it if he is interested. He doesn't have pets or kids.

Today Denine and Julie are at Castaway Cay. Doesn't that sound like paradise?

Hi guys, Guess what Chris broke the washer.....and then he fixed it so lets hope it stays fixed. He overloaded it and I think this is his way of making me do all the laundry!!!! At least it is fixed for now. I panicked a bit since we just bought the new computer for $1600!!!!!!

Another Diser that lives in Colorado is going to come to my pampered chef party that my mom and I are throwing on Saturday!!!! Yay that adds maybe 2 more people.

Barb - Have you thought anymore on coming?

Come out, come out, wherever you are Barb! You must be having one of those days at work. Hey, we need to get together again for a lunch. I thought maybe on one of Heidi's Fridays off. It seems that the two of you have been having the same Fridays off.

Heidi, I haven't been over to the cranberry thread but I bet Cristi is coming. How fun!

Stacey, I am spending waaayyy too much money on the twins. It's just too much fun though. We have to get together so I can "dump" everything your way and get it out of the living room, the hall way, my bedroom, etc. lol

Good Morning/afternoon

Nice to see you posting regularly Sandy. I haven't been on the board much since there is no one on it. I mean what if I come up with some really inspirational or SUPER funny line and no one reads it! All that talent wasted.

Yesterday went really well. We had about 22 people at the house for Thanksgiving. Everyone seemed to have a good time. I sure have been blessed with good friends and family. Can you believe on of the first people on my guest list is Bob's ex-wife. We get a long great. Who knew! I am pretty hard to get along with so that is saying a lot for her!

Ok here is my dilema on Saturday.
1) Tiffany is home and will only be home until next Monday so I want to spend time with her. BUT she is sooo excited to be home and spend time with her friends that there is no guarentee she will even be around on Saturday.
2) We are going to "Boo at the Zoo" so I would need to be home in time to leave.
3) I really want to meet Heidi and Stacy and see Sandy again it has been a long long time.
4) I do like Pampered Chef Stuff
5) I will spend WAY more money then I should.
6) What if I'm late again then Sandy will NEVER believe me that I rarely am late.

Barb, see, you didn't waste a funny line.......if you come late, I would never believe that you rarely are late. Don't worry about me. BUT, you definitely have a huge dilemma. Remember our kids come first!!! So, think about Tiffany!! I am worried what I will spend, too. I like Pampered Chef stuff as well. Don't be a lurker with everyone gone. We need to hear from you. I miss your mom. Shoot, we can't even talk bad about the people on Amazing Race. Is she having withdrawals from the board like me? I have just decided to MAKE time and come to the basement. I only check this thread and the cranberry thread and then shut it off. I know for a fact that our virus protection isn't up to date on this one so I don't leave it on. Then it is dial up so it is painstaking SLOW! Guess what Barb. I get to hang your lovely ornament on my tree soon. How about that??!! I put it in my Disney curio cabinet until Christmas since we didn't open gifts until after all my decorations were put away. Just trying to write everything that has been on my mind about you. Anything else?? I will think of more when I turn this off. lol

Jeanne, I am beginning to get a little worried. Everything ok? I think it is almost time for the mounties.

Hi Sandy!

How is the computer situation coming along anyway? Are they fixing or replacing it?

Tiffany left yesterday after dinner to go to the park with her best friend and play football then well they HAD to go look for costumes for halloween then there was meeting another friend at Village Inn. I never did see her after that. Rarely saw her yesterday during the day. She is so happy to be home and seeing her friends.

Barb - If Tiffany stays at home then be with her, if she leaves with her friends come see us No really, my feelings won't be hurt if you can't make it...I understand family first as I follow that too!!!

Where does Stacy live? Any idea how long it takes from the Springs to get to her house? Littleton is on the South end of Denver right?

Wonder how much snow we are in for. It is cloudy and grey here today. The weather is not suppose to turn until tonight.

Kamy, I don't want to get into this matter with you what so ever. Many things between the two "groups" are water under the bridge. Please, understand that I/we do not follow your posts or anyone else's in that group. I am surprised that you do. We know a lot of little secrets about your group but we choose to keep it off the board. Please do the same. Thank you for your understanding. We still plan on going on the cruise and I hope that the "groups" can stay civil. WE ARE ADULTS! I harbor no ill feelings. Good grief. It has been 2 years. If you have an issue with us, please pm us.

Barb, we are getting snow but it isn't sticking yet. I still haven't heard about the computer. I think I am going to have to go to Best Buy. It was been almost a month. We try to be understanding but it is getting hard. Stacey lives south of 470.

Wow is it really snowing now and even sticking to the ground. I wonder if we will have a snow day tomorrow. I wish!!!
