Sandy, OR you could celebrate your birthday with your family at WDW!!!!!! The day after you get off the ship!! Hmmm...... got ya thinkin again????

Sally, I ditto what Sandy said, take it easy!!! I think what your granddaughter saw was the FAA were thinking about it. What it is, is a full length screen that you would stand infront of. It DOES NOT show a persons private areas, but if you had something in your pocket (water bottle, lipsticks etc...) it would show it. It just "removes" the clothing and shows a "shadow" or "outline" of a person and anything that isn't clothes, would be seen. It is not a "nude show". Like a 3D picture but not in color and not "detailed" if you know what I mean. From the story I saw, it looks pretty cool! Believe me, they would run out of screeners because of all the giggles :rotfl2: they would have if it was a nude show! Especially seeing someone like me naked! YUCK!!

Hey, where's Denine been? A day without a post from her............. we might have to send out the mounties!

TTFN

I have been all over the internet looking for this new airport security system and have not found anything. I would like that would think that would be really pushing peoples rights. I wonder where she heard of this.

Julie, you are right. WHERE IS DENINE? :confused3

My problem with going with Stacey is that we planned a 2 or 3 week camping trip next year to Canada. I know Ted is sooo ansy to get the truck and 5th wheel out on the road. He has been so good to me with all the Disney trips that I guess it is his turn to choose.

Barb, :confused3 who knows, maybe it was an internet rumor.

Barb-your pictures are absolutely beautiful...I wouldn't mind doing that with my family...I think it is great.

Mom- we are only taking the seven day cruise, we will be home the 22nd or the 23rd.

Don't worry, I am here. Jerry worked from home yesterday and today and we have been busy besides. I will probably be MIA the next 2 days as well.

Julie: You were right about the saga. No wonder you didn't want to tell me over the phone. I am glad your mom got the lawyer. They can't legally keep your dad from leaving. At least the place where I work is self pay. No medicare. But, I do remember all the hassles when I worked at the Patrician.

Barb: Didn't get a chance to look at you pictures.

Where are all our countdowns?

I lost another pound this week.

Stacey: I was very grateful that we were sailing with the Dudettes and your mom in August. We had ressies for brunch at Palo, but Kaleigh had a cold and couldn't go to Flounder's. The Dudettes volunteered to watch Kaleigh and then spoiled her!

Gotta go get the munchkin to bed.

I guess I am not missed after all. Last one to post yesterday and first today.

Jerry took a break, so I get the computer.

Tomorrow we are having friends over for dinner. We went to a meat store we hadn't been to before and bought chicken parmesan sausages. They make them on site. They look and smell really good. We went to a farm and bought fresh peaches and cucumbers. I am making a peach pie for dessert and a cucumber salad. This place has all kinds of homemade sausages. I pass them when I go to work and they have a sign with an interesting sausage listed every week. They even had blueberry, I don't know about that one. The baked bean one sounded good. They had about 10 different kinds.

Work was busy, but OK this morning.

I may be back on on Sunday. Monday, Jerry is taking the day off and we are going to the zoo. Jerry's class is finally over! I get to work on Fridays again insead of Saturday, which means we get the whole weekend back!

Denine, you were missed. Heidi and I had a FULL day of cruise preparations. Now it is off to camping. Have a great weekend everyone.

Oh and Stacey, I thought you said that you leave the 22nd or the 23rd. My bad.

Good Morning!!

I am wondering if my system is working correctly. Not one person posted since Sandy posted on Friday? That can not be right. I wonder if something is going on. I will check back later to make sure it is loading ok for me.

I am coming down with a cold so I did not go work out this morning. Instead I sat an wrote in my journal with a comfort warm drink and a warm sweater on.

Sandy how was your camping trip? It rained a lot this weekend. I bet it is very peaceful sitting in your trailer listening to the rain.

I had an all day retreat on Saturday to prepare for Missionettes. Looks like with Jaymee leaving I will be doing the class by myself this year. Should be interesting.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful morning!!!

Good morning everyone!!!

Barb - I was having problems getting on this morning, but it finally let me in!!!! Looks like they changed the search feature, I DO NOT like it!!!!!

We got our cruise docs on Friday, I was so excited!!!! Camping was great...it really didn't rain much in Monument. We were able to go swimming on Friday night and then it rained while we were sleeping. Saturday was nice all day and started raining at about 7:30pm and we watched a movie. It was a very nice relaxing weekend. Next weekend will be a little crazy, I get to go shopping with my sister and try and spoil my niece and nephew and then finish up with cruise shopping!!!!

A big thanks to my mom for packing up my junk and sending it to the DCL port for me. I really appreciate it. I will finish up the magnets this coming weekend.

Denine - you always get the cool stuff. We don't have those type of place around where we live....how cool to get fresh sausage and fresh veggies.

Just a quickie to check in.

Barb, the rain was nice. We were able to enjoy some sun. We went swimming and hot tubbing on Friday. It was cold outside and the pool felt great. It was dark and we had it to ourselves. A nice night.

I just got an email from my high school friend and college roommate. It really made my day. We just don't correspond except at Christmas. Bad us!!

Well, I really, really have to run right now. I still have to shop for a couple of items to ship, repack Heidi's stuff and pack mine to get it out today.

Oh Heidi, did you read your transfers in the documents? Mine don't say from port to airport so I sent Kelsie an email. What does yours say? And, are you going to contact American Airlines regarding extra luggage or changed weight restrictions?

:guilty: Just got done putting another $200 in Tiffany's account for books. We left her with $500 and that was not enough! Can you believe that. She bought all used books too. BLAH!

Sandy-Your weekend sounds wonderful and relaxing.

I thought this was going to be my first weekend off in a long time but NOOOOOO. After I got up on Friday Bob and I went for a long walk then I went to Curves, Hobby Lobby and Target. I got home and worked on some things I am making for Tiffany. I picked up my Mom and we went to dinner then to an open house. Saturday I had an all day meeting for Missionettes. I got home about 6:00 then left right away with Bob to dinner and a movie. Sunday I cleaned all day then went with Jaymee to a movie got home made dinner and finished off my day working on stuff I am making for Tiffany. I want to get a "Care Package" off to her by the end of the week.

Bought our Airline tickets for our cruise this weekend. Bob and I decided to fly out of Denver. My Mom and Dad are leaving from the Springs. Denver is a little less expensive and more flight options.

I have decided to bring Tiffany home for October break instead of Thanksgiving. She only has a few days at Thanksgiving and we will be leaving right in the middle. In October she has about 10 days off. She is going to go to Texas with her roomate for Thanksgiving.

I got her bedroom cleaned and rearranged yesterday. I want to have her Christmas Tree up and her room all decorated when she comes home in December. She loves Tinkerbell and has been collecting ornaments for her tree. I found a Tinkerbell tree skirt on clearance last year that I bought and did not tell her. She should be pretty surprised.

I am working on Missionette stuff today. Getting my class schedule all set up and need to plan the field trips and craft projects. I have lots to do today. I am also going to be the "Event Coordinator" this year and will be planning several events. I am also going to put out the monthly newsletter for all the teachers. Should keep me busy. It will help get me though not having the girls there. :guilty:

Missy and Ethan leave tomorrow for 17 days. She is going to visit a friend. The house sure will be quiet without Ethan! I am going to miss my little punkin!

Two hours in the hot sun weeding flower beds....not my idea of a fun time. I started fall cleaning my scrapbook room this weekend and am about 2/3 finished so think I will shower and then finish it. I have the first level fall cleaned...just leaves the upstairs. Tonight is stamp club meeting.....

Sandy, we use to camp every weekend but one. for a family reunion, from Memorial day ( rain or shine and usually rain)until Labor day. The first couple years we tented and then got a trailer. It was really a good time of our life.

Can you believe 2 weeks from today will be Sept 4th....where did the summer go?

Barb, you need Calgon!

Sally, I really think that camping every weekend made our family as tight as we are. We started with a tent without the girls, went to a tent trailer (pop up), then a trailer and now a 5th wheel. Just need a motorhome to complete it all.

Had a great time shopping with Bonnie on Friday. WE laughed and laughed :rotfl2: :rotfl2: You can not try on clothes around any of the Dudettes :dance3: Bonnie got a beautiful, sexy gown. She is really thin now. I didn't get any thing on Saturday but went to my bargain mall on Sunday and got a real bargain. I found a gown I love for $15.00 at Marshall's  I also found a semi-formal dress for $22.00  So I am basically done shopping all I need is a silver purse. I am upset because I haven't received my documents yet :furious:

JULIE: So sorry about what your mom is going through.

SANDY: Missed our calls on Saturday not once, not twice but three times!

I really have to catch-uo on my board readings. Off to work tomorrow, hairdresser on Wednesday, work Thursday and Friday. Hope you all have just a Marvelous Monday. Toodles  JEANNE

Oh-oh Jeanne. I didn't realize it was THREE times. Bad me! I shipped my boxes today. Are you still shipping? I am so happy that you found new gowns! Can't wait to see them.

Hi guys. My mom and I had a very bad day yesterday, hoping things get better today..but unfortunately I woke up with a migraine, not a good start but I REFUSE to have a day like I had yesterday.

Jeanne - If you can't get a hold of my mom, you should call my cell phone!!! My sister learned that trick. I always have my cell phone on.

My BIL is going out of town tomorrow and I get to go over to my sister's house tomorrow and help with bath night!!! Yay, I love bath night.

Heidi: You can come over here for bath night anytime! Also, about the meat store and veggie stands, welcome to the midwest!

We had a nice but busy weekend. Our friends came over on Saturday. The sausages were really good, so was the rest of the food. Sunday, we had running around to do in the morning and then naps and more running around after that. We finally bought the bookshelves for the classroom. Yesterday, we got to the zoo when it opened and stayed until about 3 PM. Kaleigh was her usualy complaining self. We cooked out when we got home and then put the bookshelves together and got then organized. The room is really coming together. The 1st day of school consists of going through the box of school stuff together and finding a place to put everything.

Now that Jerry's class is over, he will be coming home at normal time. I feel like we have gained a bunch of time. Unfortunately, I looked at the calandar, and I still have 1 Saturday to work. I work Friday and Saturday coming up.

Jeanne: Sounds like you found some nice bargains.

Barb: OMG, how will you find time to do all of that? Do you sleep? I need a nap just thinking about it!

Sally: I have a bunch of weeding to do. When we were cutting the grass on Sunday, I decided it was a job unto itself.

It is beginning to feel like the start of Fall. The temperatures have dropped into the upper 70's low 80's.

I saw a coyote in our neighborhood on Saturday. My friend, Judy, and I were outside with Kaleigh while Jerry took John for a ride in the Riviera and a coyote ran across the street between the houses. Pretty cool.

I can't think of anything else. But after a weekend of eating too much, it is cereal for dinner.

Denine,Cereal for dinner. You sound like me. I like to have breakfast for dinner like eggs, pancakes, waffles etc.

Heidi, sorry about the migraine. It will get better......in about a week and a half.
