Hi Heidi- That must be the secret. How fun! What is she using the design for? How do you make a design?

I came up with a really fun idea for Tiffany. I am going to send her an empty scrapbook. Every month or so I am going to send her some pages I have made with stuff that is going on at home. So by the end of the year she will have a full scrapbook and feel like she hasn't really missed anything.

I have not heard from my Mom at all today. Hope everything is ok.

I posted a long reply to everyone but I don't see it. Just act like you all know what I said as I am NOT retyping everything.

Denine, you are too funny!

Barb, that is the sweetest thing you have ever done. How wonderful that you "decorated" everything. The girls had a teddy bear they loved to pieces but the poor bear was actually bald by the time they got older. Yes, the only secret I can think of is my cruise design. Believe me, I didn't design it. One lady on the DIS used to make creative designs but she doesn't right now. She made part of it and my adorable daughter, Heidi, finished it. I had it made for a magnet but I found a lady that would put it on a t shirt for the four of us. I just got back from having it put on.

Jeanne, I didn't have a tshirt made for you. They were mighty pricey. If you want one, I can have it made. It was 71.00 for the 4 of us. You and your body armor. :rotfl2: Now we can hear you guys cracking up now that we are next to each other!! :lmao:

Sally, are you ok??

Lori, we STILL need to have that lunch! You being over extended in the volunteer work does not surprise me. So how close does Ben live to us?

I thought last night that after work I would go home and take a nap or go to bed early because I was so tired. Instead my BIL and sister took me around looking at stuff in garages of model homes. I loved doing that!!! My BIL works for Continental Homes and they had a huge employee sale where they sell everything in their model homes for cheap. I got some pictures, plants, 2 twin mattresses and 2 box springs, a beautiful white dresser with flowers painted on all for $30. They are the greatest for letting me tag a long. :thumbsup2 Best of all was I got to see my niece and nephew!!! oh ya and Stace and Rich too!!! :teeth:

Poor Richard and I, nobody ever loves us anymore. It's always about J & T!! :rotfl2: :rotfl:

I've been MIA. I have recently been playing with myspace.com and found a ton of people from our high school. I actually have gotten in contact with some of them. It's a lot of fun to see and hear what everyone is doing now.

Richard had last week off so we did some exciting stuff. Saw Pirates on Monday, I like the first one better but it was ok. Tuesday we played with our ATV's and Wednesday we went to the zoo for the first time with J & T. They weren't too into it yet but it still was fun. Then of course we went camping over the weekend.

I have officially booked my cruise for next year...I can't wait. If anyone has advice on how to do this with two 2 year olds, let me know!!

Now I just have to add a ticker at the bottom of the page! :Pinkbounc

Stacey, I am soooo excited for you. I am glad that you officially booked. Now you have something to look forward to. When is it???? I am guessing the Eastern, right? I want to go, too!!!!!! PLEASE, PLEASE. Don't bother, I know what the answer is!

I have been sick for a week......the dr gave me a z pk and I do feel better but still don't feel good. I went to the dr with Dick this morning and when the dr heard me cough he gave me 3 different prescriptions.....the cough medicine was $80.....

I had to take Dick to the hospital Friday because he has the same thing and they said it is something going around and they are seeing a lot of it in the er. But he is feeling better today than I am....and his eye surgery is still on.

Oh Sally. I am soooo sorry to hear that you are that sick. Hang in there kiddo. A special hug is sent your way!

Thanks Sandy....I think the worse thing about being sick is I don't feel like doing anything and my house is suffering.

Stacey - I am excited for you too, but I know when you are going........hmm I have a perfect idea on how to deal with 2 two year olds, invite the grandparents and the aunt!!!! You don't even have to pay for us, we will pay our own way. We can book on board to save $$$.

Sally - I am sorry you are sick. I hope you get to feeling better soon. :grouphug: I hope Dick feels better too.

I hope this works today. Why is it always the long posts that get lost?

Sally: Pixie dust to you!

Stacey: Sounds like you had a nice week. Julie is the one to ask about dealing with 2 small children on a cruise. I do have one word for you...FLOUNDER'S!

I am tired and unmotivated today. Jerry actually came home at normal time yesterday and it was nice. Back to coming home late today. Last week was supposed to be the last week of class, but they extended it. He feels like he has missed summer.

We did go to the Corn Festival on Sunday and spent several hours. Kaleigh had a lot of fun. We didn't try the corn ice cream though! When we got home, we put up the new blinds/sheers combo on the patio door and then the valences. My kitchen looks so nice now.

Giant Eagle really needs to order more Home Depot gift cards. I need a $100 card so I can go buy the book shelves for the class room. You get 20 cents off a gallon of gas at their gas station for every $50 you spend. It will help offset the cost of the book shelves.

Jerry wants to go to the zoo on Monday. It sounds like a good idea. We could pack a picnic lunch.

We have friends coming over on Saturday for a cook out and it is the only day in the 10 day forecast with rain.

Jerry booked our 2 days before the cruise at Saratoga Springs in a 1 bedroom. We didn't want to spend that many points, but better points than cash. They didn't have any studios available anywhere. We could have stayed at Port Orleans for fewer points, but they only have double beds and we can't sleep in a double bed.

I have cherry tomatoes coming out my ears! I need to go pick more today. I am trying to make stuff using tomoatoes and tonight's dinner takes a pint. No problem!

Denine, I know about those double beds! I wake up all night wondering if I am crowding Ted. Or he wakes me up snoring because he is too darn close to me.

Stacey, ditto what Heidi said.

Sally, another day is today. How are you feeling? I have heard from several people that what is going around is nasty.

Sandy: Not only are the beds too small, but Jerry's legs jerk while he is falling asleep. He doesn't know he is doing it, but sometimes I feel like I am riding the high seas. The smaller the bed, the worse it is for me.

Anyone want to come over and play? I don't feel like doing anything around the house.

Oh my gosh, Denine. Ted does the same thing. He jerks ALL night. I thought that it was just him! Try sleeping with Jerry in a waterbed. I definitely rode the high seas until we got a real bed. I hate the movement and I hate the sound of his legs rubbing on the sheets when he does it.

Good Afternoon
Been busy all morning, finally got a minute to post. Bob is working mids this week so Jaymee and I are going to the mall tonight. I am sooo tired from the weekend but now I am obligated to go to the mall. Blah!

Last week we had some family pictures taken. The photographer sent the link to the pictures. Some of them turned out pretty good. I am a little irrated at Bob for not taking his glasses off for the family one. He has the light sensitive lenses. Grrrrrrrrrrrr

Hope you are feeling better Mom.

Barb - where is this link that you speak of? I would love to see the pictures if you don't mind sharing.

I was thinking the same thing Heidi!! I would love to see Barb's pics as well.

Big Brother tonight. Anyone else as mad about Janelle staying in the house. She drives me to drink!!

Waiting for the Post Office to open. I have to mail my daughter's birthday presents (her birthday is Sept. 2nd) but I am afraid I will forget to mail them out with all the cruise preparations. Also am mailing myself a package to the cruise with shoes, hangers, sweats, etc.

Tomorrow is my daughter-in-law's birthday. I think she is 23?

I want to see the family pictures too!

Eighteen days :hourglass until we leave for WDW. I have to work the day before we leave (Sept. 2nd). I tried to get someone to work that Saturday but it is Labor Day weekend and, of course, nobody wants to work it so I have to be all ready to go on that Friday :dance3: :yay: :cool1: :Pinkbounc :thumbsup2. I can't wait! I still haven't tried on any of my clothes :confused3

Hope you all have a Worthwhile Wednesday. Miss you all. :grouphug: Toodles  JEANNE

Hi everyone! It has been crazy around here, but that's just the norm! This is the last week before school starts. As a matter of fact, school starts one week from today!!! Makenzie is really excited!! Garry starts 1 week from Friday (why do they start kindergarteners on a friday is beyond me!).

Well, Anna Marie passed her drivers test yesterday so we officially have a new driver!!!! Boy when she does come over now (which won't be too often now with school, cross country, and now she's getting a job) it will be nice.

**NEED TO VENT** (you can skip this if you want)
Been having a rough time with my dad's "rehab facility". They want my mom to pay for his stay like YESTERDAY ($23,540.00 and change to be exact) even though there is an appeal that is been heard from the insurance. This appeal would have been heard from by now IF the rehab place would have giving the insurance co. the correct info. Long story short, insurance paid for his stay from when he went in in April to June 7th. Then from June 8th to July 5th he couldn't wear his leg piece do to a sore on the stump that had to heal (caused by the rehab trying to have him use it BEFORE the stump was healed, another story) and then after his dr. gave him the all clear to start to wear it July 5th, the rehab needed to send paperwork down to the insurance co. so they would begin to pay again. WELL, there in line lies the problem. The insurance co. tells my mom that they aren't getting the paperwork from the rehab center and the rehab center is tellling my mom that they are. SO, that's the story in a nut shell. Well, yesterday it all came to ahead when they told my dad (not my mom) that he was going to be move today since they hadn't gotten any money from my mom. Well, my dad is depressed weith everything going on and this has been documented by several people in the center that this is true. WHY on EARTH would these two bimbos (there is more terms I would like to use for them!!) come in had him this "form letter" basically saying that do that they haven't recieved any money, he's out! Now he has been getting ready to come home and we thought that by the end of the month we can get him home (with home visits by someone, installing handicap bars in the bathroom, getting a hospital bed, etc.....). Well, my mom called me so upset yesterday because my father was in tears. So, I loaded up the kids and met my mom at the center and went down to speak to these IDIOTS!!! These same two bimbos came in to talk to my mom and I and they began thier "lecture" (they were down right nasty and rude to my mom) and I finally said, I want to see the director now! We are done her ladies. this one bimbo said to me and I quote " I spoke to your mom a few weeks ago and she told me she would give us some money. She didn't so we went to the this step". I said and what is your job here and she said she was the business manager and that was one of her jobs to call and get money from people. (the story goes my mom did talk to her and said she would give SOMETHING but then talked to the insurance co who said the center didn't send the correct info and that it would be covered if it was sent.) the insurance co. DID send my mother a letter stating this fact that we had there to show them yesterday. SO I looked at this "woman" and said so if you are responsible for getting funds, why didn't you make a follow up call to see what could have been the reason, etc. So then this other slime said, well, I was playing phone tag with your mom about the subject. I said then why didn't you leave a message besides Hi this is Maggie from The Villas, I'll try back later. Why didn't you state "it is important that I speak with you about an urgent matter inreguards to your husband stay" or the like? I know my mom had tried to call you several times and you were never available. By this time I was finished with them and called for the director. He came in I explained what was going on and that I thought his staff was rude and that no one seems to know what is going on and info that should have been sent hasn't etc. I also told him that RIGHT NOW my mother is only responsible for payment from June 8th to July 5th and that THEY should have done their job and they would have gotten paid for the July 6th to present. I told him that it looks like to me you hound and harrass these people (I think I did say elderly, sorry mom) to get them to pay the FULL amount and you guys slack off with the insurance co. because they have to accept the money from them as payment in full. I told this guy that speaking nasty and rude to people won't get you far. I know bullying people might get you what you want, but NOT FROM US! He back WAYYYYYYYYY off after talking with me and accepted the payment from the period when my dad wasn't in theorapy and said we will get this paperwork sent to the insurance co. to see what they will do from there. They wanted my mom to sign a promisary note for the remaining total and I told her not to until she spoke to her attorney. I really think these "people" are a bunch of scam artists. I told my mom that call today and get a copy of EVERYTHING in my father's folder from anything medical, to theorapy notes, to everything they have sent to the insurance co, or WILL send to the them. Just to make sure they are sending the correct information. I wouldn't put it pass they people to have sent some half*** report to the insurance co. so it would get denied (there have been other appeals that have been denied or still needs more paperwork". Everyone in the front office is like 40yrs or younger and just have a bad attitude towards everyone. I can't believe how they talk to the patients and to the spouses. It's just not my dad and mom. They really bully these people and most elderly would be intimidated by this kind of behavior and do what they wanted. I don't know, maybe it's just me and I'm wrong. SORRY HAD TO VENT!!

Stacey, my best advice to you about cruising with 2yrs olds.......(you're not gonna like it......) travel with family or friend who can help!!!!! Flounders is great WHEN they are open. Use them often so you do have that alone time!! You really will need it and love it. We usually get late dinning since it's sooooooooo early to get ready for dinner for early seating, and we have the servers bring the kids food first so they can eat, then I dismiss myself from the table, take the kids to Flounders or clubs and then come back and enjoy the rest of my meal. The server are great with little ones, but mommy's and daddy's need time too. AND MAKE SURE YOU DO!! The reason I say to travel with friends or family is sometimes you want to do something without kids (at port, Serentity Bay at Castaway Cay, adult pool to just read and relax, wine tasting, etc...) and either one of you misses it to stay with the kids or you both miss out. You are very limited as to trying for Palo brunch ressies and sometimes dinner because you have to make sure Flounder's is open so you can go. If you have someone else cruising with you, you don't have to worry as much. We have been on 4 disney cruises and have never been to the adult beach! Garry walked over there to look at it, but with the kids, you can't even go for an hour. You don't have to be with your "cruising companions" the entire trip (trust me unless you plan on seeing each other, you could go your whole trip without running into each other.) You don't have to link your dining up and everyone can eat at their own dining time/rotation. Don't get me wrong, you will have a great GREAT time with your little ones on board, you just might need those extra set of hand to help when you least expect it. You want to get the most out of your cruise, you MIGHT not get to do that if you are traveling with 2yrs with no help. We have been fortunate to have cruised with some "GREAT PEOPLE" wink wink, who did help out once or twice when we thought we couldn't get to something. Even this trip, with the 2 out of 3 kids in the club, IF there is something we would like to do, we do have Denine and Jerry there as back ups IF Flounders isn't open or the kids don't want to be in the clubs etc, and that goes for Kaleigh as well. It's just a good feeling knowing that you have that extra help IF needed.
That being said,........... get a verandah!!!! For those naps in mid day or when they go to bed and you can sit out there and relax!!! Take lots of hand sanitizer (wipes are great or prell etc.) Take their favorite blanket or sheets (if they are going to sleep in the pack and plays on board and not in the beds) from your home so IF they have problems sleeping, they will have the smell if home and will relax more. Don't worry about them eating, they wil eat when they are hungry and this is vacation!! So, if they want ice cream at 7:30am.... just kidding! AND my number one suggestion........................................ RELAX, HAVE FUN AND DON'T WORRY!!! All kids cry, scream, fall asleep during dinner, drink wine of the decks... etc. Kids are kids and just have fun!! IF you want to chat more about this, PM me or get my email address from your mom and we can chat that way!

Sally, sorry to hear you are sick. Take care of yourself.

Barb, would't love to see the pictures too!

Heidi and Sandy, Janelle might not be as safe as she thinks! I think she will be gone sooner then later!!! I can't stand her either!!! She makes my skin crawl!

Jeanne, I actually forgot about the preseason game agaisnt the Eagles. Our team is having problems AGAIN this year(explain later) so we aren't really excited about this year. I still love football! GO BROWNS!!

Denine, Hi! My post is so long now, I write to you later! Glad you got to go to the corn festival!

HI Lori!

Gonna fly!

Hey Heidi, Sandy, Jeanne, Barb, Sally and Denine (and everyone else) Have you seen the new Castaway Club gifts? You get a landyard and two pins at check in then in the staterooms you get a small tote bag with two castaway club mugs, two mesh bags (one blue one red) two "rubber" braclets (one blue one red) a magnet, note pad/journal, and a container of hand wipes. All with the castaway club logo on it. I think that's it. There is a picture of it on the cruise thread.
