Jeanne - that is so good to hear that Ryan came up to Bonnie. Hopefully they can start a new relationship and get over being so stubborn. I went and saw pirates too, I saw it on Friday night.

Chris went to go get the movie tickets at 2:00pm and waited in line for 20 minutes to get tickets for the 7:30 showing. He then took me out to dinner and we went back to the theatre an hour early to wait in line for good seats. The line was long, but am glad we waited because we got the best seats. The movie was great but the cliff hanger definitely left me wanting more....now I am trying to patiently wait for them to release the 3rd one!!!

Barb - how did your pirate night go?

Good morning!!

The "Pirate Party" was a lot of fun. My Mom and I ran around on Friday getting food and decorations. She came over on Saturday morning and helped make decorations and put them up. The house was sooo cute. Lots of "Pirate" money, treasure chests, Parrots, shells, eye patches, gold coins etc... It was really fun. We had about 20 people. We got to the movie theater about an hour and a half before the movie started and got seats together. Fun fun fun! When I got home Missy had cleaned everything up!!! I was soooo shocked. It was a nice thing to come home to. Everything is packed up waiting for the next "Pirate Party" when the 3rd ones comes out!
pirate: pirate: pirate: pirate: pirate: pirate: pirate: pirate: pirate:

Sunday I had a birthday party at 12 and a bridal shower at 1:00. After we got home I watched Flintstones with Ethan (our snuggle bunny time) then watched a movie, read, and wrote in my journal. Ended the evening with Bob and I taking the dogs for a walk. Need to start conditioning for Hawaii!

Next weekend is Missy's birthday, we are going to go to the Zoo on Sunday and have a barbecue for her. The next weekend I am having an "Appreciation Luncheon" for the people that helped with the wedding and the next weekend is camping. July is almost over then back to school time.

How was everyone's weekend?

SANDY GO OVER TO HEIDI OR STACEY'S AND POST!! WE CAN'T GO 2 WEEKS WITHOUT YOU!!!!!!

THANK YOU MOM FOR ALL YOUR HELP THIS WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!
I REALLY REALLY REALLY APPRECIATED IT!!!!!! YOU'RE ARE THE BEST!!!

LOVE YOU :love2: On to the next event!! :rotfl:

Sounds like the priate party was a success and everyone enjoyed the movie.

We ended up going to Target and buying the first one for $10. We wanted to see how Kaleigh reacted to that one. Well, she loved it. She thought the skeleton priates were funny. We may go see the next one on Wednesday. Right now she is Pirate Kaleigh and is wearing the bandana she got in her happy meal.

Makenzie is having her tonsils out today. Poor thing.

Went to Amish on Saturday. We had a nice time.

Bought a bunch of picture frames at Kohl's and Michael's yesterday then went to Jerry's mom's to clean out her bedroom and rearrange furniture. We wore our selves out and I am stiff and sore.

Still need to get to the grocery store and do some stuff.

Had a full weekend but am still feeling like cleaning today....I have a lot of laundry to do.

My grandson and his family are back home safe and sound

Denine there is two scenes in the Pirates that you about have a heart attack....Barb warned me about the first one but didn't the second one....thanks Barb! I hate it when things jump out at you and the music gets loud......Barb and Bob had gone on Friday night to see it so she knew what was going to happen.

You are not going to believe this but the two( lets take a picture of this because it would make a cute scrapbook page) didn't take any pictures! I took two downstairs when we were doing the decorations of Ethan with an eye patch on....he looked so cute and didn't take it off...guess he thought he looked cute too. Then I was so busy making kabobs and cutting up pineapple that I forgot about pictures.

Barb had gotten all the tickets earlier in the day so she didn't have any trouble getting them but they were sold out later in the day. Then I took her over and was going to wait in the car until the line went in....well I guess there wasn't much line because she got right in and got all the seats together.

She is saving all the decorations for the next Pirate movie, coming out next Memorial Day.

Denine- I am going to make dinner for one of the girls at work that is having surgery a couple of times. I need some ideas. One night I am going to make spagetti because it is soooo easy. I was thinking of a chicken dinner for the second night. Any ideas what is good easy and practically "failure Proof"?

Hi all! Makenzie did very well today with her tonsils. We were there at 8:15am and the surgery was suppose to be at 9:15am, but they didn't take her until almost 10:30ish. We got home around 12:45ish. Mickey Mouse sent her the Sleeping Beauty castle activity set for being such a brave girl. She has had several popcicles and some gatorade and some water. SHe just got done eating some chicken noodle soup. SHe has two kinds of meds an antibotic and a pain med.

Barb, I know you didn't ask me, but I have a chicken and rice dish that is fail proof. All you do is brown about 4 chicken breasts in a skillet with some oil. Then remove the chicken and add to the pan a can of cream of chicken soup and a can of water with some pepper and paprikka(sp) to taste. Bring to a small boil and add 1 1/2 cups to 2 cups of rice to mixture. (rice amount will make it soupy or drier depends on your taste). Add chicken to the top of rice and simmer for about 5-10mins. Add more pepper etc. to your tasting. And you're all done. OR there is chicken paprikas (sp). I have a real simple recipe using cream of chicken soup, sour cream and some chicken broth. If you are interested, let me know.

Jeanne, I'm so glad to hear that you guys had a great time! SO glad to hear that Ryan came over and talked to Bonnie. Hopefully this will get their relationship on the mends.

Well, gotta go. I'me being called for more popcicles!

It's me and without PATIENCE. Dial up is for the birds. It takes forever to do anything.

Just stopping by to read and try and stay caught up while the computer is away. That one looks like it is virus free....thank goodness.

Jeanne, so glad that Ryan went up to Bonnie. I hope they can mend their relationship.

Barb, it sounded like the Pirate party went off great. We aren't going to see it until all the hype dies down but before the cruise.

Denine, take a picture of pirate Kaleigh. I would love to see it.

Hi Julie!
Thank you for your suggetions. I love it. I guess I always think of Denine when it comes to cooking. She is always making something and seems to have a million recipes. Glad Makenzie is doing good. Pixie Dust to her!!

Julie - glad to hear Makenzie is doing good. What a scary experience for a little girl.

I made my boyfriend go kickboxing with me last night....it was hilarious to watch. He can dance really good but his rythym and keeping up wasn't so hot last night!!! He said it feels too much like exercise!!!! We had a sub instructor that was hard to understand so I am sure he would have done much better with the usual teacher.

Good Morning! :sunny:
Went to scrapbook class last night. Then Bob, Missy, Ethan, Shelby,Callie & I took a walk. I love it right after it rains. :umbrella: everything is so fresh.
I will be sad when it stops raining everyday. Things are green right now but will quickly brown once it stops.

Julie: Glad Makenzie did so well! You guys have to drive to Detroit in October to take advantage of the great airfares. Jerry just booked our flights for $49 each way or $351 for all 3 of us. We are leaving on the 12th and coming back on the 27th.

Barb: Julie gave you some great recipes!

Sandy: We have dial-up. We can't get hi speed unless we pay A LOT of money and get cable or Direct Wav or whatever it is. It is slow, but just think of me whenever you get to do anything fast!

I called this morning and paid off the cruise! Now all we need is transportation to the port and a place to stay for 2 nights before the cruise.

Kaleigh had her library program last night. It was all about sea horses. Next week is turtles.

At least I am not so tired today.

Kaleigh wants to watch POTC again tonight. I will have to take a picture of her in her pirate hat. She also has a "sword". pirate:

Supposed to get more storms today.

Denine, not only is dial up slow but this computer is as well. I am running on AOL 7.0 for one thing. It is driving me NUTS!! It never use to be this bad. I think the computer is causing it all. BUT, I am not going to throw it away. It has helped in times like this.

Julie, we cross posted yesterday. I am glad tha Makenzie is doing so well. We need an update!

Barb and Sally, I heard that hail hit the Springs yesterday. You guys ok?

Well, this is my one a day check in because of the computer. Hopefully the old one will be back soon.

Love to all.

Denine- I can't wait to see the picutes of Kaleigh in her "Pirate" outfit!
How cute is she!! She will really enjoy "Pirate Night" on the cruise! pirate:

Denine-Do you know what months the "Flower Festival" :hippie: :flower3: is? I think we may have to postpone our Disney vacation until Spring because of the Hawaiian cruise. I really hate to I can't tell you how sad it makes me :guilty:
Because of Tiffany's college we will have to go during her Spring break which is the end of March.

Can you believe it. I would rather go to Disney then go on a Hawaiian cruise! I guess there is something wrong with me. :sad2:

no Sandy, we didn't get hail and not much rain either. Today is suppose to be our last rain for awhile....I loved the rain...it was the nice gentle kind, no wind or storms and it lasted for l0 days or more. Sure helped our lawn...there is no water like rain water.

Up North by where I work they did get hit pretty hard last night.
There was flood up here that knocked out an electical box. Guess there was
a couple of guys stuck in a truck they would not let out because of the danger.

Hi guys! Makenzie is doing better today. She is sleeping at the moment. She had a rough night last night, so she didn't sleep much, but today she is doing MUCH better. Her friends are stopping by tomorrow. They have a "care package" for her.

Anna Marie is her and will be here until Sat. Makenzie is calling her "her helper monkey". Anna Marie's half brother went into the Air Force yesterday for the next 6yrs. Andrew decided that is what he wanted to do. We are proud of him.

Denine, I made our final payment on the cruise too! Hey, did you guys want to try and get Palo brunch ressies together like we did last time? I will try and be up at 3am on July 16th to try and book Palos and Flounders (IF NEEDED) I hope not! What airline did you guys book? We are going to leave either the night 11th or early the 12th. We have to see how many days the kids will miss. We are trying to have them miss only 7 days. They have the 13th off, SO it would be the 5 days of the cruise and thurs the 12th and depending on flights, monday after the cruise. Let me know.

Well, gotta go. Makenzie just woke up and needs some TLC.

Julie: We booked with Spirit. We have a 2:45 PM flight or something. We will drive up in the morning. Glad Makenzie is doing better. Yeah, we will do brunch together, it was fun the last time. OK, I am not getting up at 3 AM to book anything. I do have a website, Pancho's Backyard, in Cozumel that is supposed to have a coupon for a free margarita. We have eaten there before, it was good, so were the margaritas.

Sally or Barb: You will have to e-mail or PM me the scary for Kaleigh parts in the movie. Kaleigh is downstairs with Jerry watching the 1st one again.

Barb: I think the Flower Festival does not start until the end of April and goes until the beginning of J une.

Hey Denine, IF you guys would want to, Garry and I were thinking if we all stay in WDW before and after the cruise, how's about taking a limo to and from the port? We would split the cost which wouldn't be too bad and we wouldn't have to pay for parking at the port? Let me know what you think. I was looking at Spirit flight too. Does Spirit work with the Disney Magical moments for check in at the hotels?

Gotta go take The Big Guy to safety town. Be Back Later!
