The draperies are for the slider in the morning room. It would give privacy from the next door neighbors, and offer a little insulation against the west winds. I get afternoon sunlight, when we get sunlight. The other windows are also in the morning room. Choosing curtains isn't a problem for me, paying for them is! :rotfl: I also need window shades for the south facing windows upstairs to help keep the upstairs cooler in the summer. The morning room and upstairs windows are the only ones I have left to cover. I am thinking going with the slider.

Heidi: Jerry can't handle the grease of the monte cristo sandwich anymore either, he didin't have too much trouble with the panini, but it was still very buttery. My intestinal tract hasn't appreciated my reuben all day. I guess I pushed it a bit after being so sick.

Julie: I am so glad the sepsis is gone! Just take it one step at a time. Hope everyone at your house gets better. Kaleigh's nose has finally stopped running! :cheer2:

Wanted to take Kaleigh to an Easter egg hunt tomorrow, but it is only supposed to be 43 and my asthma has been acting up this week. We will see.

I had my injection this morning. It wasn't as bad as I feared, but the lingering effects are unpleasant. It feels like someone rooted around in my muscle and it aches. I hope it works. I go back to the orthopod in 4 weeks. My leg never did go numb though. It all depended on how close the medicine came to the sciatic nerve.

Barb: I gues if you don't do a little every day you will never get it done. You are getting there though. Yeah on ordering some curtains!

Sandy: CA Grill, that's the one in the Contemorary I couldn't think of. We liked it, but haven't been back since Kaleigh came along.

Sally: If you go to Disneyshopping.com and go to the outlet store link, they have Disney scrapbooking stuff on sale.

Good Morning!

Trying to plan my day so I get the most done. I need to get the other 6 wreaths done and poster boards but it is suppose to be nice today which makes me wonder if I should work in the yard. Hummmmmm Jaymee and Jason are snowboarding today. Tiffany spent the night with a friend and Missy and Ethan are still in bed. Quiet house this morning!

Julie good to see you post.

Denine-I shop regularly at Disney.com. I jumped on the extra 20% off and free shipping when everything I had picked out was already on clearance!! I got all the Disney stamps and also got Buzz Lightyear for Ethan for Christmas. I am waiting for another great deal to get Woody.

I think we will take Kaleigh to the egg hunt. We will just bundle her up. It is sunny, but cold. She will be running around finding eggs anyway. That should keep her warm.

I love anything that will get me Disney stuff at more than 50% off!

Still stroller shopping.

Barb, where did they go snow boarding?? Heidi and Ted are up at Loveland today.

Denine, how was the egg hunt? The holidays ares so much fun with little ones!

JEANNE, HAVE A TERRIFIC TIME IN LAS VEGAS. Think of us here. I got your message. I got home late and didn't want to call you. I figured you were in bed. I heard from Nic on the Magic. He is on it right now. He said the new Navigator has been keeping him busy. He said that he won't be going on the Med cruises so he is thinking about going on the Wonder for work or play and might see us there. I am so excited that we will be at WDW together. Your quote was pretty in line with mine. Happy that you got the free dining. Ted and I can now "afford" LeCellier!!

We did the egg hunt. MAN, was it cold! It was only in the 30's and windy. There were a lot of people though. They had it divided into age groups. Kaleigh was in the 1-3 group. She went to town putting eggs in her basket. Mostly it was hard candy, but she got 2 eggs with a paper to turn in for special prizes. She got an Easter book and a pair of fancy dress up shoes. She had a lot of fun.

Just got back from the pet store and Trader Joes since we were in Westlake. TJ's was out of organic milk. The sign said there is a shortage. Hope the grocery store has it tomorrow.

Kaleigh is bathed and will be going to bed early tonight since she didn't get a nap to speak of.

Life is good! Jerry too Kaleigh to grandmas and I have the house to myself. It is so nice and quiet!

I cleaned for about 3 hours today. There is more to be done. I will see what I feel like doing when I am done on the computer.

I went to order something from Disneyshopping.com, but the sight is down for upgrades. Bummer!

Jerry and Kaleigh took my Rendezvous up to get washed and it is nice and clean again!

Jerry was already asking about having wine at 8 AM. Sundays in Lent don't count, so there is a bottle of Reisling in the fridge and low fat cheese on the counter coming to room temperature.

Jerry did the grocery shopping this morning. I make out the list, tell him very specifically what to get and coupons I have and he buys it.

Kaleigh chowed on yucky hard candy she got yesterday. She doesn't get anymore today. But, she was hoping grandma would have cookies!

It is supposed to warm up starting tomorrow!

I am holding off on the drapes for the slider right now. I have learned something about myself and money. I have come to realize that I don't think that much of anything should cost more than $25. When it does, I tend to balk at the cost. I try not to spend more than $25 on most things. Just call me cheap!

Believe it or not I am on my way to bed.....I had a busy weekend. Laid brick in two flower beds in front....one is my mini rose garden and I moved the waterfall there. I can see it out my front door now and on the other side of the sidewalk I planted dusty miller and sylvia in front of my rose bushes. I went to Walmart about 7:30 this morning and got the mini roses, etc and then to Home Depot and got wood chips and brick. I loaded everything myself and forgot to take my gloves so my hands got a little scraped up.

Yesterday I took all the dirt out of a half barrel and moved it up under my front window...it was so heavy I ended up rolling it up there but at least I got two beds done over the weekend. Now I am going to get more brick and fill in between the sidewalk and front of the house so I have a bigger porch. I would like a cement porch poured but don't think it is going to happen so this is the best next thing. I figure I will need about 80 brick....a lot of loading and unloading.

I wish I knew how to post pictures so you could see my mini rose garden...I think it is cute..... :cool1:

I went to the Disney site...thanks, Denine. I think Barb ordered all the stamps.

Well goodnight all......

Sally - if you want, you can email me the picture of your rose garden and I can post it for you.

I had a great weekend. Went skiing for the last time this season in great conditions. We were skiing in 9 inches of powder which makes for a perfect skiing day. It was blue sky, warm and tons of powder!!!! Then Saturday night I went out with my friend and her cousin Downtown. My friend was calling it her divorce party because we kept seeing all these bachelorette parties. We had fun, we finally went to Coyote Ugly but it wasn't as great as I thought it would be. We did have a lot of fun. I was the Designated Driver so I didn't drink but it was fun to make fun of everyone!!!! We then stopped at Del Taco at 2:30am to get some yummy quesadillas. We weren't the only ones thinking about doing that. There was 10 cars in front of us at the drive-thru plu a lot more behind me!!! Didn't know they were so popular that late (or early)!!!

Sunday I enjoyed the warm weather, almost 80 degrees and watched a movie my mom rented. I loved yesterday!!!!!

Thanks Heidi....I will if I can figure that out :rotfl: Never learned how to do some of the cool stuff....

I slept 8 hours last night...can't remember when I slept that long so I feel pretty good this morning. It is suppose to be another nice day...I was checking the l0 day forecast and we are suppose to have really nice weather....maybe we will make it through April without a blizzard that we always get around Dick's birthday....

We are getting a quarter beef today so I have to find room to store it in the freezer which means I have to throw some of the old stuff out. My granddaughter bought it through her office. One of the men goes once a year to Neb. I think and buys a whole cow and they divide it up.

I have so many things I need to do this week I guess I better do some planning.... we also have our monthly scrapbook class tonight....

Heidi...I went out to take pictures and the sun isn't in the right place so will do it later.....I don't have your email address though.

I got a roast in the oven, laundry started and now going to clean or work outside....I am really torn as it is 52 so it is just right for working.

Barb, do you want to come over and eat before we go to class ?

Sally: I am so jealous of you bring able to do all that work in your yard. It is finally going to warm up today, supposed to be 62 and then warmer the rest of the week. Your rose garden sounds nice. I need to decide where to put one, among other things.

Heidi: Sounds like you had a great time! Tacos at 2:30 in the morning, yuck! But then again, I don't think I could eat much of anything at 2:30 in the morning!

Bought a stroller last night on e-bay. I hope it is as nice as it sounds. I will find out when it arrives.

The disney shopping is still down.

Denine it has been really warm...yesterday I got so hot :sunny: working outside but I love it. We normally get a blizzard so I am taking a chance on planting as many flowers as I have although snow usually doesn't hurt things as it covers them and in a way protects them. But I have 8 beds in front; 2 on the side of the house and ll in back and the ones in back I break up into several smaller ones so I really have l5 to do and that is why I start early. I have to be done by the first of June as that is when my company starts.

Hi guys, missed you all over the weekend.

Looks like everyone is getting things done. We were just saying how nice it would be to do things around OUR house. Like cut the grass, paint, put in new windows and like Sally, I would like a bigger cement front porch. We were able to work outside at Louise's house. We opened a few more boxes out there and put some shelves together outside as well. It was so beautiful.

I put 3 cast iron skillets in her self cleaning oven and now I have to scour them. Next I will reseason them. Just to give them a try. Seems like a lot of work now that I think of it.

The Easter hunt with Kaleigh sounded great. I remember taking our girls and the bigger kids would just push our little ones around. I like the age grouping. Oh and Denine, our Del Taco serves breakfast after 11pm, also. You don't have to have Mexican food. Mmmmmm, speaking of that I think I will go before 11 now and get my breakfast burrito.

Sally, wow. That is all I can say. WOW!

I have a bunch of computer work to get done today so will probably be on all day. Thanks a bunch Heidi for helping me with the schedule!!

Off to Del Taco. Talk to you all later.....

Good Morning Everyone!!

Mom_WOW you are amazing getting all that done and by yourself!! Can you say "Calgon take me away"!! Can't wait to see your yard. I bet it is beautiful as always. I would love to come for dinner.

Sandy- You sure have had to spend a lot of time sorting through stuff. I hope it is coming to an end for you so you can get your life back to normal!
Pixie dust to you and Ted!! :wizard:

Jason, Michelle and Jaymee went snowboarding at Keystone this past weekend. Jaymee was so sore and burnt but she had a great time.

I finished a bunch of stuff for the wedding and graduation this weekend and even managed to get some of the tea party stuff done. I am in the middle of of one big push and another so I should be able to take next weekend off. We are spending the day in Denver looking for Tiffany's prom dress. Sunday I am NOT cooking. Thought I would sweet talk my Mom into cooking or if she doesn't want to we will spend the day at the zoo.

Got my tickets for The Thorn. Miss not being it in this year but sure glad I decided against it. Rehearsals take so much time and I would be so far behind with the wedding and graduation stuff.

Barb, go to Walmart....mini roses are 2.92 or the bigger ones are 4.99. I like the really little ones and they grow up, hopefully not too much. My mini roses do really well over winter...better than the big ones. I have two mini's my granddaughter that died 5 years ago and her sister gave me one summer when they were here when they were little. They bloom every year and stay the same size.

I doubt if I cook Easter, probably go out or if I do it will be a cook out

Mom-Wouldn't it be fun to build a fairy miniature garden! I found a really cute outdoor fairy houses. Hummm now my mind is working..... :scratchin

Barb, great idea for the mini roses!

Sally, the time got away from me and I doubt I will cook Easter this year either. I always cooked but Stacey is going to the in-laws, Ted's dad died and so did my mom. Not much left with the exception of my brother and Heidi. OH and "step dad". I just don't feel up to being a huge hostess this year. My mind is on the estate sale. Want to have it by mid May.

Heidi, we got some GREAT mail today. Go to your mailbox!

I have to go to a conference all day tomorrow so I probably won't be able to stop in and say hello, have a great Tuesday everyone.
