I thought the game started at 2.....doesn't matter you can still see almost all the game before you have to leave.....

Going to Brooke's party this afternoon. Really looking forward to doing something fun! Kaleigh really wants jello squares.

Julie: The Incredibles sounded fun. I know one of the nurses at work wants to see it.

Barb: We have a dinner theater here too, but I have never been. It is in Akron.

Work was busy again yesterday. The evening shift nurse never does anything and it really is annoying. A lot of nurses are fed up and she is a nun!

Went to see Jerry's dad last night. I found out one of my co-workers also works at the hospice and she was there last night. She is a nursing assistant, but that isn't what she does at Kemper. She is actually the person that does the purchasing and stocking of stuff, like dressing supplies, etc.. Nothing new to report. The good news is that Jerry's dad qualifies for extreme care, so Meidcare will also pick up the tab for room and board which runs $900 a week. One less thing for Jerry's mom to worry about.

Jerry is feeling better, but he still has a nasty cough. I think he had some sort of flu bug. He had a fever and chills and this cough. I had the flu shot and I have been fine (keeping my fingers crossed).

Just trying to get some things done before we leave for the party.

What's all this about turning 50???? I see nothing wrong with it. I am as youthful as I was in my 20's. Ya, right. Hot flashes, sore back, feet, arthritis in my neck. I am constantly reminded of being 50!!

Does anyone have a Texas Roadhouse restaurant where they live? I am trying to duplicate their rolls today. They are like dinner rolls but sweet and with cinnamon. Mmmmmm.

Sorry to hear that Jerry is sick. I know he now has to be careful around his dad!

Checking in before I run off. Tiffany, Jaymee and I are going tanning. I still have some time to use up. I didn't tan before our last Disney trip. I sure wished I had of.

There has been alot of talking since I was off the boards. Worked Wednesday, off Thursday (saw Body Works at the Franklin Institute) & worked Friday & here it is Saturday & here I am!

JULIE: Loved the pictures of the family. You looked terrific! The kids are getting so big. Brooke is becoming another beautiful princess You can NOT be responsible for the Secret Santa. Everybody just appreciates that you do it. You can't MAKE people do things.

SANDY: You got snow! I am SOOOOOOO jealous. Mary (my new roomate) & I are going to the Poconos this Thursday & it is 50 degrees. I guess no skiing or tubing for us. We will just have to shop!

DENINE: Hope Jerry is improving every day. Tell Kaleigh I said "yes, yes, yes"

Yummy, yummy, yummy I got love in my tummy...... (anyone remember that song?) I got something yummy in todays mail. Our Girl Scout cookies arrived. Now I can have a treat this afternoon at the other house.

Jeanne, yup, we got snow. It was a nice wet one. Still on the ground. Might make it cold for the game though. Oh well, I can't afford to go that is for sure. Thanks for the cheering on the Broncos. I don't know if we will be able to watch as we are headed over to the other house to work when Ted and Heidi get home from skiing this afternoon. It has made it a lot easier now that we spend the night. Maybe we can dig and price in the den and watch the Broncos. Have fun in the Poconos.

Wish I had more time to have chatted with you, Barb, but it sounded like you were just as busy as me at the time!!

Yes, we have a Texas Roadhouse but I think what makes the rolls sweet and cinnamony is the cinnamon butter.....

We went to see "Dreamer" about a horse....it was really good.

I did fairly good with the rolls but Ted wants me to add more honey next time. He doesn't taste the cinnamon IN the rolls like I do at Texas Roadhouse. The butter is excellent, isn't it. I am going to whip my own.

Hi guys! Brooke's party went very well. BUT.... Jerry got a call from the hospice center around 8ish and they said to come now tht his dad took a turn. Denine called me and told me that Jerry's dad has passed. Her message said that he was gone before they got there and probably passed on before he got the call. I'll keep you updated once I know more.

Yes, Jerry's dad was gone when we got there. It happened very fast. Jerry's mom was not in the room since they were cleaning him. They turned him over and that was that. His heart just gave out. He looked at peace when we got there and everyone is holding up pretty well.

Supposed to go to the funeral home at 2 PM tomorrow to make arrangements, but have to pick out the plot and flowers on Monday. Don't know anything else yet.


We did have fun at Brooke's party.

Sandy-It was nice talking to you yesterday, sorry you had to get through my screening process Since I am on the phone 8 hours a day I absolutely HATE talking on the phone. We get so many calls I usually don't even answer the phone. Tiffany picked it up thinking it was for her and when you asked for me I think she panicked since she did not recognize the name she figured it was a sales call. Guess that sounds really bad but I would have our phone disconnected in a heart beat if I could. We all have cell phones and I would rather use them. I do usually answer my cell phone but it was in the car when you called. Sorry.

I remember that song Yummy Yummy Yummy I got Love in in tummy.... it was sung by the Ohio Express. Patty told me that we had a cousin that sang in that group.

I love all these new smileys. My "more" link does not work at home. No idea why so I will have to look at the rest at work tomorrow.

Jerry made some phone calls for his mom this morning and is trying to come up with a list of how many death certificates she will need. Why do things need to be so complicated?

Barb: I hate talking on the phone too. I get upset when it rings. But, if I find out it is a friend, that is fine.

DENINE & JERRY: So sorry for your loss. I know it will be a very hard time especially for Jerry's Mom. There is so much you have to do after someone passes away.

It has been a very hard day here but I rewarded myself by going to TGIF for dinner. I did order from the Atkins side of the $12.99 menu. I had the Key West Shrimp that were really good!

Trying to catch up on some of the "REGULAR" housework but just can't get caught up. Went to 8:00 AM Mass, got my car washed (it looks beautiful), trip to Entenmanns outlet (5 boxes of cakes/donuts for $5.00) & then to Shop Rite to finish up food shopping. I need more than 24 hours in a day!

SANDY: I AM jealous of your snow. Tomorrow it is supposed to rain here.
