So, I've been up since 4:45 am CST to make my 180+10 reservations for our big family trip (12 total people) in October. With the resort booking situation as it is (we still don't have everyone at the same resort due to no availability!), I knew I needed to get on our ADR's. I had incredible success...I got EVERY SINGLE ONE that I wanted - some for a party of 12 and some for 2 parties of 6 at the same or similar times. My successes include:
--Ohana dinner
--BOG pre-opening breakfast
--Hoop Dee Doo
--CRT pre-opening breakfast
--Akershus breakfast
--Le Cellier
--Hollywood & Vine breakfast
--Morimoto Asia
And just when I was getting ready to pat myself on the back...I realized that I accidentally made an Akershus reservation for TODAY at 8:15 am. D'oh! This was one I split as 6+6 because I don't know for sure if everyone will go to it...I guess when I went to make the second reservation, I forgot to change the date. So, I've been hold with Disney Dining for, oh, 35 minutes now, to try and cancel a reservation that is supposed to take place in 30 minutes. Of course, I couldn't cancel it online or through the automated system because of the timing. Ugh! I guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed that they won't charge me a cancellation fee to boot...
UPDATE: After 45 minutes on hold, the very kind CM cancelled the reservation and I was not charged a cancellation fee. Yay!
