I have never organized or been to a Dis meet. Has anyone ever done one? Where do they usually meet? I'm all over going if we can get a group together. I will make an effort to drag who ever is not in the pool or on the aqua duck with me. If no one else from my clan joins me I would be happy to show up any way. [/QUOTE

I have never organized one before either, but I am sure just set a time and place. pick a bar or lounge that may not be to busy. I know there is a small bar in the lobby opposite guest services? Or I like the one outside above the adult pool, but I think that it is no longer kid friendly. Let me know if I can help!

Hi Everyone, wanted to pop back and say hello. I still can not believe we are getting on the ship so soon and I have not yet planned anything. I just got our plane tickets last week! I have a total type A personality and will actually wing this??? Am I becoming a Nick Family Well I am all for a DIS quick meet and greet. We have met right before the safety drill before in one of the lounges. It has worked well to finally place faces, so when you see each other you can at least say hello.

Can't believe we are almost there! My family is SO EXCITED! So a few last minute questions:

1. My gifts are kinda color coordinated between boys and girls, as are my mom's and grandma's there were a few names that we were confused on and I don't want to give a boy "girl stuff" or a girl "boy stuff". My name is Joey and I am a girl, so I like to clarify when at all possible!! Please let me know if I'm right or wrong... sorry that it is so last minute. We are slackers!

We have been planning this trip for almost 2 years. We are less than 48 hours away from lift off and a teacher tells my son he is going on a trip. I have told my kids' teachers 3 times that this is a surprise trip. Unfortunately one of the teachers did NOT get the memo. I was able to convince him we are just taking my mom back to NC. I picked her up today because she is going with us. He is such an easy child he was like "oh, okay mommy"
whew!!! I'm just glad it wasn't the girls because they NEVER would have let it go.

You are correct. I got the first born and she is truly my mini me. Jeff got the last two J's.

So, how about we do a Dis meet at the District Lounge from 3:15-3:45? This gives us about 30 minutes to mingle and see each other right before the drill. We can finally put faces to the Dis names.

Hey everyone. So excited for the cruise!!!

For anyone visiting the magic kingdom b4 or after the cruise ck to see if the fantasyland expansion is open for testing. It was open today!!!! We got to go on the little mermaid, story time with belle and get autographs from gaston and Ariel. We also visited gastons tavern.

My dear, sweet, frugal hubby has always said "no" to Palo or Remy- he said we get great food in the dining rooms and don't have to pay extra for it. Well, today he let me book Remy! There happened to be a few times left, so I grabbed one before he changes his mind! We will be dining at Remy on Thursday night and I am soooooo excited!

Thanks luv2travelwthefam for the heads up on Fantasyland. We loved the preview. The new restaurant is beautiful. We loved the Little Mermaid ride.

There has been no organized talk of a meet as of yet. I know we are so bad about going, because one I let the kids in the pool its so hard to get them out. I am open to a meet up anytime during the cruise though!

Ok, Hi everyone. I came back to see if we were planning a meet, but have read and do not see the plans. As you know, I introduced myself back in July on page 9, so it is not like I am a last minute popper…. I was not very active because most of the talk was about FE, which I got burned out on 3 cruises prior, so I did not say much. I would love to put faces with names though. I am also hoping my last minute GTY is not a huge regret. They put us next to the kid's clubs. I guess all of your kiddos can come see us if they need to GTY….

I know it's last minute but I will also be on this cruise, leaving for Florida tomorrow. My boyfriend and daughter are going but he seems to want to hang with the guys and my daughter will have kids her age traveling in our group. I am definitely open to meeting up with anyone who is open to meeting new people while on the cruise.
