October 17th Cruisers - Roll Call

Thought i would go ahead and get a thread started. I know i have seen other posts with folks listed for this date.

Can't wait, and now that i have my handy dandy counter, it makes it that much easier to track time until then!

Count us in! We're using our $99 coupon....Wooohooo! Dh (38) myself (38) and DD (11) Coming down from south central pennsylvania and I got a room near secret deck 7....one of my favorite places in the world!

but don't know the room assigned yet. My friend Pat Megown and I are taking advantage of the $99 also. It will be my first cruise with no spouse or child along, and i am going to really be looking forward to this...

Count me in along with DD10! We're using our $99 vouchers and will be on Deck 5. We've sailed with DCL 3 times, but this will be our first time on the Wonder.

it would be hard to get together on a three day. It sure would be nice to meet some of the folks who post on this site though.

I think that's a great idea.....somehow I missed getting together with my group in January. They were to meet above the Mickey Pool on deck 10, and when the deck party started, I was on deck 10 overlooking the goofy pool instead, watching the party with my kids. This time, I'll be more careful when/where I am!

I see you are also from Minnesota. A couple weeks ago Delta had some good fares from MSP to MCO, but I don't think they're still around this week (they were about $165 roundtrip!!). They come and go fast - you need to check almost everyday. If I see something, I'll give you a heads-up.

Hi -

My DW and I will be cruising on Oct 17th with our $99 vouchers.

We also have another cabin booked for our DD and her family, DSil and two DGrds 10 and 12. The two girls don't know about it yet, probably tell them in late summer.

DW and I would attend a Dis meet too.

Countdown timers on the Dis have been disabled but my desktop version shows only 183 days!

My friend and I are interested in getting a room at Comfort Suites. I have another DIS member that wanted to go in on the room for this cruise, but there is a strict rule on only four people to a room. Is there is a pair of people out there that would be interested in doing this on the day that we are in Nassau? If so please let me know.

Thanks, but I think we will use Nassau as an "at-sea" day and stay on board.......it's just too short for me to get off there!

This morning I visited our travel agent and booked a land/sea package for October 13 - 20. We will be staying at the Beach Club and sailing on the Wonder October 17.
I was able to get a great airfare and because I will be paying with my Amex card, for $159.00, my family gets a $250.00 shipboard credit, plus VIP seating at the 100 years of Magic Parade, a collectible pin, White Glove Beach chair, priority seating at Palo's plus other White glove benefits.
All that on top of Disney World and the Disney Wonder....
We are sooooo psyched!!!

Yes, that's why we are so excited.
My DW and I sailed in August of 2000 when we celebrated our 25 "Wonder"ful years together.
This time we'll will be sailing with our son and daughter. They have never been on a cruise before but they have been to WDW .
