I enjoy almost any type of pasta. Tonight I’ll make some dish with “macaroni,” which is how my mother referred to any type of pasta besides spaghetti.

I’m thinking of sausage and broccoli rabe with rotini or ziti. Or maybe asparagus or another veggie with whatever pasta I pick up or already have.

Linguine with white clam sauce? That’s a possibility too.

What are your favorite pasta dishes?

Wow, I guess I'll have to do something simple like penne with sausage and red sauce.

I love, love, love pasta too.

I really like to make homemade baked macaroni and cheese with ham. I made the last batch with sharp yellow cheddar and Virginia (country) ham. Such salty goodness.

I also tend to make baked ziti with ground beef or spinach lasagne.

On busy nights I do a low-rent version of orecchiette with broccoli rabe and sausage. I'll do shells with regular broccoli florets and sausage. The kids love it. DH tolerates it.

I wish I could do a decent chicken parmesan, but DH hates it and I don't trust myself to do a good job of it. It's my go to Olive Garden meal.

Oooh, fun holiday!

My favorites that I make are lasagne and mac 'n cheese, but I'm on my own for dinner tonight, so maybe I'll order takeout Italian.

Wish I would have known this yesterday and I would have prepared to cook pasta tonight...

Mother's side is Italian. I grew up eating a lot of pasta and still eat a lot of pasta.

Oops, missed it by a day-we had spaghetti and sausage yesterday.

My favorite pasta dish is probably shrimp Alfredo with peas. Not to brag, but okay I'll brag a little, I make a pretty good Alfredo sauce.

I love pretty much all forms of pasta, however try to eat it no more than once a week. It’s my comfort food. Favorite sauces are bolognese and carbonara, but I also love a simple bowl of noodles with butter or olive oil and a touch of garlic.

I had a jerk pasta with peppers for breakfast. So I accidentally rocked Pasta Day. And my father's birthday! And three years of nation-wide legal marijuana! What a day!
