Sorry guys I am not the best at doingtrip reports. I must tell you that was one ove the best, if not best vacation I have ever took. It was a blast. I would like to thank everyone for their welcomes. Goofy, I what a small world. I would be more than happy to answer everones questions about it, but let me start by saying I only got off the ship at CC and Aruba. At CC I had lunch then right back on, and in Aruba I went to a little bar right by the dock for a few hours. I really just wanted to relax and do nothing for 15 days, and that is what I did. My wife and I will be celabrating aniversary number 9. Though you would never know I am married as we are the opisates attract couple. SHe wakes up early and I wake up late. She goes to sleap early and does not drink at all, I will be closing Rockin Bar D every night and may have one to many. She will do differant things on the ship than me. It is weird but it works. We juast do our own thing.

Now that sounded like a vacation!

It was. Second time we have done DCL to Panama. Still this little 7 day one should be fun. So far looks like a great group of people. Really if anyone has questions about the trip please ask.

Not to bum everyone out, but I just checked airfare from bos to orlando and they are pricing at $800 a ticket which would take us out of the picture with 5 of us traveling, airfare will be changing much just like car travel!

Holy Smokes! Unless airfare is $250 and under, we will be driving. It will cause us to have to take a few extra days off but I would rather spend the extra $$ on drinks

Which airline were you able to check this early?

If that is the case we would probably drive as well................WE NEED THIS VACATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you can't check air this far in advance. They only let you check 1 year in advance. Airfare will not be anywhere near that for NY-MCO.

We are going to Disney in Oct and we got it for like 155.00 r/t per person.

It was one awesome trip. In my top 5 of all time.

How long does it actually take to cross the Panama Canal?

It was an all day affair. We took on the pilot about 6:30 in the morning and we were out by 5 in the afternoon. When it comes to airfare thank god I work for the one airline that will not Nickel and Dime you.

Doesn't bum me out. We are a family of five as well, but we take the Autotrain or drive when we go as a family.

By the way, I missed your introduction post. A belated welcome to the thread! I hope you find much, much better prices on airfare so you will still be able to go.

Pretty stinking hot here in Maryland. If it was anymore humid we'd swim through the air. The pool we belong to doesn't open until the afternoon until June 14th when they go to summer hours but we were invited to go swimming tomorrow at our friend's house. So, after I get some sleep (I just got in from work), we're going swimming. One of the advantages of homeschooling is school's out when you want it to be out. LOL. Either that or we count swimming as gym.

we had flash floods all weekend. People's basements were flooded, some as much as 10'" of water. Thankfully mine was okay, but my uncle and parents had water in their basements. Our temps are high 70's low 80's....beautiful when it isn't raining! Today it was finally sunny

I was wondering about maybe getting some nice pro pics taken while on the cruise, like at castaway....Does anyone know anything about how I would go about this? I know people have VR's and also weddings while on the cruise and have seen many, many beautiful pics of them at the beach.

If anyone has noticed, the ticker just says 16 months, no weeks!! YEAH we are getting closer!!! HAHAHAHAHA
