October 16th

I schedule my trip and one of the my days is October 16th which I did not know was the actual 100 anniversary. Is it going to be crazy busy? I have not see any announcements for special events?

I'm taking the Celebrating Disney 100th tour on October 14th and checked to see if there is a tour on the 16th. It turns out that there are no tours scheduled after October 15th. I would think that October 16th, the actual 100th anniversary day would be the perfect day for such a tour, unless maybe there will be something happening that day. Or am I wishful thinking?

They haven't announced anything yet and we are less then 3 weeks out, so maybe not. I'm kinda hopping not as its my first trip to California and I kinda don't want the park to be crazy.

October is crazy busy at DL anyways, one of the busiest months of the year! Be prepared to buy Genie+.

Always get Genie. That's my number one thing skip a souvenir not Genie.

So far nothing has been announced. Someone else posted that DCA doesn't have reservations open for Oct 16. My first thought was that something is being planned in the Hyperion, but that is just speculation.

I've that happens often on days after A Oggie boogie bash night because single ticket folks don't want to go to DCA on a oggie boogie night.
