We're also coming along for the ride I think the FE is a great idea and count me in!! This is also our 3rd Disney cruise but our first on the Western side.

I'm game if you guys are. I PMd firefighter_chris to see if he wanted to hook up our daughters since they'll both be 10 on the ship, but I never heard anything, do we want to maybe kick off a new thread that we can have a roll call and FE roll call in the first post for? I know most folks hate having 2 threads going, but it's also really nice to be able to get a roll call in the first post.

I didn't intend to be a cyber-stalker of Chris, but he did post recently on a Dream meet thread around the same time, so may have changed his cruise.

I am a newby to DIS and to the Disney Cruises. We are going this October on the 15th on the Western Cruise. So looking forward to it, but overwhelming too. Has anyone heard of the "fish panels"? You hang them outside your cabin door and it has pockets that different friends you meet before and during the cruise put little items in them. Do tell...need more information, but sounds like fun. It will be four of us Husband and two kids, girl, 9 and boy 16. Both of their birthdays will be on the cruise. Looking forward to meeting you all.

Hi momtylerashley oh please don't feel overwhelmed there are more than a few of us that have been there b4. Have any questions - dont hesitate to ask. The FE (fish exchange) is where you hang your pocket holder on a little pewter fish that is right outside your cabin door. We sign up to bring little goodies for the cruiser's in the cabin.

How about Mickey's Not So Scary Not Quite Halloween Cruise? I'll give you time to get back with me, then I'll open up a new thread, ask IrishCowboy to add it to the list and replace the old one with it, and then also put the link in a last post on this one...

LOL that’s quite a mouthful MNSSNQHC although true!!

We could all send in a suggestion and take a vote?? I'll try and think of one too, but I'm good with opening up a new thread and then we could edit the message to add the cruise name and the FE list. UNLESS we have someone opposed to it??? Do you think we should put a message to all as a heads up and if they disagree then we'll take it from there?? Just wanting to make sure everyone here is included

My fiancée and I will be sailing October 15th for our honeymoon and are super excited! We’ve sailed before, but not this itinerary so it should be fun. I’ve only just heard about these FE things but it sounds like so much fun – we’re totally in!
Oh and I’m Shannon and he’s Dan and we live in Orlando – is it October yet?!
oh yea and taking the west by MAGIC would be way less of a mouthful lol

Hi Shannon !!! Congrats and I am sure the next few months will be busy for you but just come back here to remember that you will soon be on your honeymoon

Great I think so far we may have 5 cabins in the FE but that will change the closer we get to October. Our first cruise we had about 12 cabins and on our second cruise we had about 35 cabins.

I'm sitting in the airport in Honolulu, waiting to fly home to Denver, and it's raining and hailing there. I might just stay here!

If anyone is scuba certified, or is thinking about getting certified, do the Manta Ray night dives in Kona on the Big Island, it was amazing! Watching these huge rays glide over your head, I even got lightly bonked by a wing, and there were so many! We had 12 - 14 rays, and at least 3 big females 14 - 16 ft across! Coolest thing ever!

OK, now back to our regularly scheduled cruise planning!

We just recently booked the Oct 15th cruise and we are in for the fish extenders. This will be our 3rd disney cruise, but our first western. It will be me, my husband, our 18 month daughter and my mother CM (aka babysitter).
