October 14 Miami Magic to Key West

ha ha ha... Fair enough Time does drag on when it seems so far away... Do you think you will enjoy being on the smaller Magic again after being on the larger ships..?????

We started out on the Wonder and Magic - and after being on the Dream and Fantasy, we are actually looking forward to being on the smaller (more intimate) ship.

Yes, I my family has been talking about dressing up and wondering if there will be a trick or treat on board.

Hello Oklamomof4boys, Congrads on going on the cruise with out the kidos.. Our daughter would die if we did that... But it is still nice to think about... :) We have not been on the Magic in 5 years, would you care to tell what changes you saw & really liked??????

We really liked the larger ships, But for us, Magic will always be home, and we are so looking forward to getting on her again...
Haven't been on dis for a while so I just saw this. We loved Carioca's and loved the water areas. My husband and kids loved the aquadunk. Since it is "scary" for some people (like me-lol), the line rarely was long. I liked that there was a water slide that adults could go on. We sailed on the Wonder a little over a year ago and were a little disappointed with it- we felt like you could really see the wear and tear- especially in the staterooms. (Since then, I hear they have updated the staterooms on the Wonder). On the Magic, everything was updated. We loved being on a smaller ship-there were never long lines to get into the restaurants, I could almost always find a lounge by the adult pool, and Castaway Cay was less crowded. We looked in the kids clubs and they looked pretty neat but my boys are too old for them now.

Many thanks for your observations. Per the Magic, she will have been out of Dry Dock just a few Weeks before our cruise.. So I am expecting the old girl to Shine..

only 119 days to go..

In past cruises, I have seen they have had a ship wide trick or treating to various Ship stations (like Theater entrance and other public areas), and I have seen some people have room to room treat or treating.. Depends on how many people want to participate..

A couple of things I have read about trick or treating

Welcome aboard Katie and family! You will love your cruise :)!!!

There is a post at the beginning of this thread that talks all about the FE. We haven't set groups yet so you have about a month to decide if you would like to participate! You're new - so you can't send a private message yet, but if you look through the thread you can see a bunch of "test" posts - you can do that too so that after your 10th post you can send/receive private messages. Or look through other boards and threads and post on them.
