Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, since no one has posted in about 6 months regarding a FE for this cruise here on the DIS, please feel free to start the FE right in this thread.

There is certainly plenty of time to plan a FE for this cruise. All it takes is for someone to maintain a list of/for those participating which can easily be done in this thread. Cruise Meet threads have been doing it this way for years now here on the DIS. If anyone is interested in doing this, feel free to contact me for some suggestions.

Welcome aboard everyone! I believe that you have to have a certain number of posts on the boards before you can send (or receive) a private message - maybe 10? So if you'd like to - make several posts on this thread (talk about anything) and then you should be able to send her a message. To send a message, look for the Inbox icon in the upper right corner and then click on "Start a new conversation". In the TO field - type Amber Nicole and her username should come up.

Hello everyone- my husband and I are on this cruise. After this cruise we will be platinum! Woo Hoo! We just got off of the Magic yesterday! It was our first time on the Magic since it was redone. We loved it. I haven't decided if I prefer the Magic or the Fantasy. We aren't bringing our boys this cruise- they will be in school. We have cruised a couple of times without them- trying to get to platinum. We are trying to convince some friends to join us. Oh, and we are from oklahoma and will not be doing fish extenders this time.

Hello Oklamomof4boys, Congrads on going on the cruise with out the kidos.. Our daughter would die if we did that... But it is still nice to think about... We have not been on the Magic in 5 years, would you care to tell what changes you saw & really liked??????

We really liked the larger ships, But for us, Magic will always be home, and we are so looking forward to getting on her again...

"One"derland means that the countdown is in the one-hundreds.

Oh Fantastic, many thanks, I had never heard that before... a great term , is there a term for when you are in the two-hundreds..??? Last night when I read your posting that we where
at 186 day point.. I actually got a rush and thought for a few seconds, Oh wow better start packing.

I don't know if there is a term for a trip being 200+ days away, but I call it Neverland because it feels like it will NEVER get here!!!

ha ha ha... Fair enough Time does drag on when it seems so far away... Do you think you will enjoy being on the smaller Magic again after being on the larger ships..?????
