Has your DD decided which (if any) club she is going to? My DS (age 14) can't make up his mind between the two (Edge or Vibe) They are at the age where they could go to either. He has been to Edge on the Dream before and had a great time but he likes the idea of the plunge pool in Vibe.

Since we just booked she hasn't had a chance to look at the options yet. She is a shy kid but if she knows someone her age I bet she will do a lot more things. We should try and have them meet up after boarding so they can scout the areas together!

On the last cruise we did the kids didn't really do any activities with out us. I tried getting the 4 year old to go to the kid clubs but she was pretty mad at me when I went to pick her up 15 minutes later. Miss "You left me a long time" lol. My 14 year old tried the scavenger hunts and stuff and really liked them though. The issue was that my 13 YO DS wasn't in to them so she had to drag him to them. If she finds kids her ago I bet she will be more apt to take part in the teen activities.

You would have died...I was sitting next to the guy who played fargo from eureka and got a conversation with Pete and Artie (Eddie and Saul) from Wearhouse 13...they were both at the convention we went to. Eddie is just like his character, he is totally funny. Saul is more serious, and he was walking around with a bag just like he does in the show..was dressed the same too...I think it's just his normal way of dressing.

Also Bret Spiner was there, also from Warehouse 13 and of course Stark Trek Next Gen..

and they had another guest you might have heard of.. William Shatner.

It was a good weekend. My hubby used to be the chairperson of a local Phila convention. I'm not really into it like he is, I go for the pool and meeting up with friends. We are friends with some of the Star Trek book authors...I might understand or know much about all that stuff, but I try.

My hubby is very excited about the new Dr. Who that was just announced.

Although I haven't really watched Eureka, I love Warehouse 13 and Star Trek. Good to know I won't be the only geek on board (proud to be a geek!)

For those people staying at the World prior to the cruise, what do you think about having a informal meet -n- greet one day at F&W festival? I'm always up for some Rosa Regale and I know Stephen can be talked into having a Grand Marnier and Grey Goose Orange Slush from France. Too bad France has the Eiffel Sour Cosmo Slush again this year. Last year was truly Awful Sour Cosmo flavored.

Our schedule is pretty loose but as of now, we plan to be at Epcot on Monday, Wednesday and Friday but can make any day work. For a Rosa Regale, I would change out the entire schedule - LOVE that! There is actually a bottle in my refrigerator as I type.

I have a FE request.. I was wondering if I could get the parents involved with the FE- list the children age that are under 7- I see just a few but there is a big different between 4 and 7 or 0-3. I just want to make sure I get the right age gift.. Thanks for your help.. Julie

We have a 6 year old princess in our group. Her name is Avery. She is pictured twice in the roll call, once as Nanmommy and again as Fuzznubbin. Our family has 2 cabins.

We have an 8 year old boy in our group. He is pictured on Roll Call as Fuzznubbin. His name is Ethan and he is also an only. His 6 year old female cousin will be there. She is more into the princesses where Ethan LOVES video games. I will tell Ethan that they will be boys his age on the cruise and I know he will be happy about that.

While I, myself, are not terribly geekly My brother Michael, who will be on the cruise (and part of the FE) is! He's not on this group but he's on the Facebook Page. He has a company that does Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulators for conventions.

1) Wife and I met in a Babylon 5 chat room. Have met JMS and most of the cast
2) Big Warehouse 13 fans, too!
3) I worked the last 5 shuttle launches on one of the radars.
4) Got to sit, inside Endeavour, at the launch pad, before STS134! #notsohumblebrag

I picked up that Rosa obsession while on the Southern cruise - my Secret Mickey gave me a split and I have been hooked ever since. I think I am going to do a grocery service at SSR and have them get me a bottle or two. Since we can't carry onto the plane anymore, it sort of 'freaks me out' to pack them in all my clean clothes (but a totally different story to bring stuff home in the dirties - go figure). We can make any day work. Anyone else going to be joining us??

That sounds great. If you like we could meet in the atrium by Donald after the sail away party. That will give them a chance to walk around the ship before deciding which club to go to.
