Hello everyone!! We will be joining you all on this sailing. It will be me and my two youngest DDs (13 and 11). I originally booked the first September sailing but when looking at the dates I saw this falls over the Columbus Day weekend and our schools usually have off the Friday before as well as that Monday. So the girls will only have to miss 4 days of school plus we can get an early flight to San Juan Friday morning.

Well enough of my rambling. Looking forward to getting to know everyone.

It'll be me (Julie), husband (Ron) and our two boys (Ethan, 17 and Seth, 13 at time of sailing)!

Exactly what I'd expect a TA to say. My experience says people jump in early than for one reason or another, drop out later on. If I'm wrong, Se la vie.

We just booked! Love that this thread is already on page 2! It'll be my DH and I on our first 'adults only' cruise - poor DD will be off in college and will have to miss this one.

I don't know if the cruise will sell out this week, but the prices are going up already. My quote for 2 adults in a 5c was higher than one posted by someone earlier today, even taking into account that they got 10% off and we didn't. I'm going to reshop it when we cruise on the Fantasy next month, but I'm glad we did the booking today.

Sounds like a great group going - looking forward to chatting with you for the next 20 months!

Hello everyone

As I'm only Silver (until a week on Sunday!) I had to wait until today. Kept checking and checking online, and was eventually able to book at about 1225 (0725 EST) this afternoon. Hoping desperately that my boss wouldn't choose just that moment to want something!

I lived in St Kitts for a year when I was a teenager and haven't been back since (over 32 years). DH and I agreed some time ago that we would visit on a cruise one day. We had a similar deal about him visiting Belize, where he once lived, and we did that on a Celebrity cruise a few years ago. That trip made us realise we only want to cruise Disney, so I've been waiting for them to offer St Kitts.

I don't want to cruise out of San Juan, because it's a PITA for us to get there. And I don't want to cruise in hurricane season. But we're weighing those things against not knowing when Disney are likely to offer St Kitts again.

I can't believe how far ahead we've booked. This is even further ahead than when we booked the 2008 WB Panama on opening day.

It will be interesting to see what happens to the prices. We're onboard soon and I'm hoping to "reshop" to save a little money and get some OBC. But I'm not counting on it.
