My DSD called me up today and told me she just baught the Wii!!!!!!! She got it at Costco for $350.....included was an extra controller, nun chuck, and a Mario Galaxy game plus the sports game that comes with it!!!!!!
I was very surprised about it because she keeps her kids very busy and doesn't let them watch very much tv..........right now the 2 older ones are on a swim team, plus swim lessons, soccer camp and raquetball, and the youngest is in a cute cooking class, swim lessons, and I think soccer camp, and maybe dance class too!!!!!!

well, like I said, I didn't even know that I hit her! So, I guess I really didn't hit her, just bumped her? I wasn't going fast, just rolling back!

They have traded in a lot of games and stuff, so they could get this. The PS3, I need to look into it more. I have heard $400 to $600. Just depends on the size of the memory. Thankfully, it is backwards compatible, so they can play the PS2 games on it and the main reason for getting it is, it's a Blue Ray Disc player. There was an article in the paper a few weeks ago. They listed the top 2 players as the PS3 and some other unit that was JUST a BRD player, at almost the same price!

She just keeps them this busy in the summer because in AZ it gets so hot that they can't play outside unless they are in their pool, so she tries to get them involved in other things so they are not couped up inside all day!!! The average temp over there is 115, and cooling down at night into the 90's!!!!!!!

Yikes Michele, lot's of action for you!! We have severe storms coming tomorrow and maybe Friday morning. Of course Alexa is going to an amusement park for the last day of school on Friday. Little worried about the severe weather possiblilty.
Yikes about the car too! Glad there's no damage. Your kids must have sold a lot of stuff, we never get much when we trade in stuff at Gamestop. I'm sure we don't have anywhere near that much stuff. They'd probably like to get a PS3 sometime.

Candy, cool that they got the Wii, the kids will love it! dh is playing ours now LOL, in between Hockey periods.
