Afternoon Kiddies

Having a wonderful day here. Just got back from a successful day of shopping. And I have to say ladies, that if you have a Coldwater Creek store nearby you really need to go. I got 2 pair of walking shorts for the cruise, and I swear these are the most comfortable shorts I've ever tried in my life. Also got a nice top and skirt as well. Still need more tops, but most of my cruise wardrobe is complete now. Main thing left is shoes and an eventual bathing suit:headache:

And as soon as he's ready we'll concentrate on Richard's clothes. Lord knows he needs an overhaul too:rotfl:

Should be around tonight depending on the weather. Having supper at home.

Hope everybody's having fun today.

oh how fun!!!!!!! cruise clothes shopping!
I was just telling Denis today that we need to get this done too. We need a few more things for Denis, lots for me, lots for the boys!!!!! LOL can't wait:goodvibes and I have my bathing suit already, I bought it a few months ago when all the stuff came out. LOL I didn't want to wait at the last minute and risk all the nice ones to be gone:scared1:

Now's the time to get the clothes cause all the warm stuff is out Nancy. I know where we'll buy Richard's suit, but not anything else really. I wish there were catalogs for menswear:rotfl:

Well, we are finally home from the WB Repo and can start concentrating on this cruise. We can't wait to get back onboard.

Three weeks away from home is a bit much. Don't think we will take such a long vacation again.

The cruise was awesome and going through the canal was truly amazing.

If we can get through over 800 pictures that we took, perhaps we will post a few. There were some folks on the ship that had taken over 5000 photo's. That is crazy!

Can't wait for this cruise. We really like the Caribbean a ton more than Mexico. Water is too cold! Oh, and Acapulco is a port that can be missed. It looks beautiful but . . . . . . . . .

Not even going to try to catch up with the thread.

WOW

I'm jealous. I'd love to do a Canal cruise sometime. My very expensive idea is to go when either the magic or the Wonder leaves Port Canaveral for the last time when the new ships are built. Probably won't be able to, but its a lovely fantasy.

I tried to follow the ship through the Canal this time but the submarine got in the way:lmao:

Hope you pop in often.

All of you are so on the ball. Unfortunatly I'm still a chubby chicken and I am still wearing my maternity capri's and shorts. (I was just starting to show last summer) The thought of wearing a bathing suit anytime soon is just frightening....I have been diligent with my stroller fitness and Yogalates :yay: classes though...I will be one of those last minute shoppers, trying to squeeze my a** into regular clothes in August.
Anyone who has been pregnant in their mid 30's will know that things don't spring back and anyone that says "oh the weight will just fall off" is full of poop. Anyways...happy shopping all of you!!!

Hi Everyone,

Hope you don't mins me joining this thread?

Myself, Hubby and daughter (7) are going to be on the Disney Magic Cruise 11-18 October.

We are from Renfrewshire in Scotland and have been to Disney World Florida 4 times now and cannot wait to experience our first Disney Cruise.

I can't describe how excited we all are about the cruise!!! :yay:

I haven't had a chance to read thru' all the threads in this series yet but plan to do so -just came across the site today.

Would definately welcome any tips from experienced cruisers.

Nice to 'meet' you all.

Katie

Hi there everyone!

Sorry I never made it on the boards last night, but to tell the truth Nancy, Dennis, Kristin, Gina, and Allen are all to blame:confused3
Why you as? On the way home from work yesterday I stopped in at Best Buy and bought a WII......:woohoo:
Well.....I have never laughed so hard in my life. Michelle and I played until about 11:30 last night. Boxing is the funniest I think. I was beat red and sweating, and Michelle I though was going to clear the living room....
WII rocks:worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:
I'm now on the hunt for a WiiFit (there like gold around here), any look in your part of town Nancy....We only tried the Wii Sports. Tonight were going to box each other (that should be interesting, fun domestic:banana: ) And we also have the Wii Play to try out.
Any recommendations on other games to try? Has anyone figured out the MII thing yet and have you connected your to the internet?
Gotta run back to my chores. I'll jump back on in a bit.

Hope your all having a lovely day:thumbsup2

Alex
That would be Mary Margaret you need to point at here!!! If you have a wireless access point, it will use it. Ours connects to the wireless and I hear that we could all network together and play baseball or bowl or whatever.... That would be cool!

Welcome aboard Katie!!!!!!

My entire family is from Scotland. (just outside of Glasgow) We have cousins coming over to Canada in July. Ask away with any questions you may have. I'm sure someone can answer it for ya...

Oh well I'm on a roll...
Can we take a vote on a non cruise type question? The choices are Aveo, Yaris or new Beetle so I'm sure you all can figure out the question.

We have a new Beetle........I call it our German piece of @#&!, but it is a gas mileage getting German piece of @#&!. Ours is a 2000, the first year they came back out. I hear they have worked the bugs out since, though. We have had a bunch of small problems, the most aggravating is the water leak it has somewhere and the passenger window cable has broken twice. It is broken now, and just the other day, the air bag light came on and the horn stopped working....I told you it's a German piece of @#&!....
A friend of mine has a 2007 Saturn Vue for sale if you are interested....:teeth:

Hmmmmmm oohhhhhhhhhhhkayyyyyyyyyy next :lmao:
We spent the day car shopping. I actually find it kind of sad to see all the full sized trucks and cars some of these dealerships are stuck with. That and seeing these places deserted but the places with the smaller cars were packed with people.
I saw a few cars I really liked but my DW said no it's too big. We are in the market for an ETC (extremely tiny car) for in town use. It will be a shock to us from gassing up the Blazer to this.

Thats like me. The Suburban takes about 120.00 to fill up. The Bug takes a little over 50.00...MUCH better and it gets about 28 mpg in the city.

That's a shock to us, even the Breeze is easy on gas but we live about 5 minutes from work so I have never filled it up...ever. I put in 20 dollars and I'm good for a week. This week I only put in 15 but we were using it today so I put 30 and should be good until Friday.

okay!!!!! I can honestly say, I have read EVERY page that I missed in the last 2 days!!!

Denis, I can't tell you which car is best since I have not researched small cars. Of course, at this point, I have no desire for a small car! I love my big truck and plan on keeping it as long as I can. Of course, like you said, if I were to trade it in, I wouldn't get the money I should get out of it, since no one wants a gas guzzler...except me! LOL Good luck with your car shopping though!

I got the house cleaned up this morning and then the boys and I went to the mall. I had intended on spending a lot of money on ME, but I ened up spending MOST of the money on the boys! As usual!!!! I still would like to find me a few new things. I am one of those people that only buys new clothes when the old ones are TOTALLY worn out!!

So, are we still on this thread? I don't see any new posts in the new chapter??

I have us an official mascot!! These are pictures of my cousin Valerie's "bird". I don't think its a parrot, but I'm not sure what it is. BTW, Valerie is tvdisney on the cruise list. I think our pre cruise party is going to be the last Saturday of June, so I'll have more pictures for you then. We are going to try to find a pirate hat for him and see if he will were it long enough to get some pictures of him!!
