You all have fun tonight! See you tomorrow!!!
Good night, hope everyone is feeling better tomorrow

a scary movie!!!!!!!
copy the bunny! I just found it today LOL
are you feeling better?

Oh, I used to love scary movies....Not so much anymore...

I think I will copy the bunny!!!!!!!!

I actually went to the doctor today!!!!!!!!!!

Am I the only one who finds this odd? Didn't we all play with MERCURY in high school science class? Next they will be saying trans fats are bad too. LOL
If it is like any other lamp that has mercury in it, it is a vapor. So when the lamp breaks, the vapor dissipates. We have a "mercury spill kit" at work to clean up broken HID lamps from DLP TV's. The mercury is in vapor form......when the lamp breaks, the mercury is gone..... :confused3

We are watching a vampire movie, 30 days of night, pretty cool so far. There wasn't much of anything left to rent, you'd think it's a holiday or something

I broke up the TR in 4 parts. Here is pt.1

Part 1
Departure was uneventful, ride to the airport, and flight to Memphis and Miami. After arrival at the airport, we collected our luggage and went outside for our transfer to Port Everglades. It was warm and humid as we waited outside for our bus….a 20 year old Greyhound that looked as if it had been rolled off an interstate overpass somewhere….. Before we got to Port Everglades, it began to rain....buckets and buckets. It rained and stormed so bad, that the airport in Ft. Lauderdale had to close quite a while. Part of our group flew into Ft. Lauderdale on Southwest….direct from Nashville…. because Princess ran out of “airspace” on Northwest…(a small point of aggravation with me). They made it in before the airport closed. Because of the weather, many flights into Ft. Lauderdale had to be re-routed to Miami. Princess then had to get those people back to Port Everglades for the cruise. We were 2.5 hours late leaving the port that day, which I understand isn’t that unusual. But that’s OK, because everyone got on the ship.
A brief word about the food… Everyone always ask about the food on a cruise. We had anytime dining, but we all ate as a group every night. I will say I didn’t eat anything that wasn’t good. I will also say that the only thing I ate that stood out from the rest, was a Filet Mignon. For lunch one day, they had a special sushi buffet. It was all very good.
We head south from Port Everglades to the Florida Straits. Once reaching Cuba, we turn east and head for the Windward Passage between Cuba and Haiti. Then, we turn to the southwest, between Cuba and Haiti, then southeast around the tip of Haiti into the Caribbean Sea toward Aruba. The Windward Passage lives up to its name with 20 to 30 mph winds. In addition to the ship speed of near 20 mph, it created some 50 mph winds across the unprotected decks of the ship. The strong winds continued for 2 days all the way to Aruba. We have only been on 6 cruises, but this was by far the roughest seas we have encountered.

I like it so far, it's factfull but unbiased

Part 2
Aruba looked a lot like Antigua. We chose to stay on the ship in Aruba for two reasons. One, it was Sunday and most everything was closed. Some of the shops opened for a while for the ship, but mostly it was the flea market type shops. Two, we wanted to save our money for later.
Next was Cartagena, Columbia. We took a tour to the La Popa Monastery high above the city. You could see most of the city from there. We rode through many parts of the city. The class divisions are very pronounced. After a stop at a local modern shopping complex, we went into Old Town, or the Walled City. The architecture of Old Town is spectacular. It is very old but very vibrant and busy. On the way back to the ship, We went by the Fortress for a photo stop. I’m glad I didn’t have to climb to the top! Back to the ship for dinner & martini’s!
Next is the Gatun Locks of the Panama Canal. We entered the channel to the canal around 6 am. It is 5 miles from the breakwater to the locks. It took almost an hour to reach the locks. I got what I think is one of the best pictures I have ever made going through the canal. It is a sunrise picture. I will post it later. After traversing the locks, we pulled into anchorage in the lake and unloaded everyone who was going on excursions in Panama. We stayed and watched ships come in and out of the canal while we ate lunch. At about 1 pm, we began the process line to go back through the locks. After going back through the locks, we pull around to Colon and dock. There was a shopping area set up in the terminal building and we were encouraged not to leave the terminal. We were not going to bet there long anyway, and according to them, “it’s a port town, and there is nothing to see….” To make a long story short, Mary & I got our wires crossed up and she got off the ship while I was waiting for her in the lobby. By the time I figured out what was going on and got off, she was getting back on. She was telling me to go shop and see the dancers. I wasn’t hearing what she was saying because steam was coming from my ears. So I went into the terminal and looked around for a few minutes and figured out there wasn’t anything there I needed. What I missed however were the dancers…..the topless dancers!!! That’s what I get for being mad I guess…. Oh well, back onboard for diner and martini’s.
