Hello!
Thought it was time for me to post something. This is what Allen and I have been doing this afternoon...

Sundrop Cake
1 box lemon cake mix
1 (12 oz.) can Sun Drop or lemon lime (soft drink)
3 eggs
1 small pkg. instant lemon pudding mix
3/4 cup oil

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Make up pudding as directed. Combine lemon cake mix, lemon pudding, Sun Drop, eggs, and oil in a medium bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until well blended. Pour into greased and floured bundt pan. Bake for about 30 minutes or until done. Take out of pan. While warm, pour the glaze over it.

Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 Tablespoons water
Mix glaze ingredients together, pour over cake.

I bought a small 12 bundt cupcake pan. They look like cake doughnuts when they come out. Since we're going to Mal Hombre's for lunch tomorrow, I thought the individuals pieces would be easier than slicing.

How far in advance can you book a room? Or I guess, How many times can you switch your ressies? If we book a fake date on this cruise, we'll have to change it at least twice. Will they let us keep pushing it back?

I think you can move it as far out as you want too!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aside from going to the bank and to Wally-world, today has been a bust. I have done nothing but sit here on the pc looking for Carnival Cruise info..and really, I have not found what I am looking for. How do they "do" dinner? are you in the same restaurant every night? Is it rotational like DCL? I think I have figured out disembarkation, and since it's just the 2 of us, we might just do it ourselves! I guess you have to wait, somewhere onboard and listen for your room, floor or color and THEN you can leave. I guess you could be sitting there a long time..which is fine if you have no where to be! Right now it looks like we might have to drive to Orlando/Sanford, so that's over 3 hours. I wouldn't want to have to sit for 2 hours waiting to leave knowing I had a long drive ahead. Also, I do like that they charge a flat $10/day/person for gratuties, then they divy it up. Less work for me. You do have the option to add to that if you wish.

Anywho......that's been my day...veggin' out, perusing the boards, reading trip reports.....

Sounds, like an informative day though Michele. It will be interesting to compare DCL and Carnival.. Did you hear back from the grandparents yet about babysitting????
