Belated birthday wishes back to you.....when was yours. I was the 22nd

Mine was yesterday! Good to be July babies right? You got 1 year on me though, I hit 40 next year.

It stinks that summer is flying so fast, I've been so busy at work I feel like I'm neglecting my kids.

On a fun note, our best friends moved to Portland Ore when we moved to this house in 2002. They were supposed to do WDW with us in 2003, but he lost his job. Since then we see him for a couple hours every 3 months (he's our financial advisor and comes here quarterly), but we've only seen there dd (same age as my son) twice I think, and the wife, my best friend, 3-4 times. They try to plan trips here together but it never seems to work out. He was here Monday and took me to lunch and we decided the wife and I should meet somewhere for a girls weekend, since family trips never seem to pan out. I am so excited at that thought, I hope it works out!!!!! I've never gone on a trip without my family. His friend has a vacation home in Tuscon in a gated community with a private pool, he asked him and he said we could use it sometime.

I followed just fine. YOu're going to plan a girls' weekend with your friend out in Portland and you're going to borrow their friend's vacation house in Tuscon to have the weekend at.

Sounds like a great plan to me.

My day was decent, but after tomorrow I'll have 7 days of work in a row And the Back to School Tax free weekend starts friday. I may need someone to shoot me b4 monday comes around.

Today just flew by for me...which I have a feeling the time will do until cruise time...cause we are leaving for vegas in about 2 weeks then when we get back from that then it is really time to start in packing and getting ready for the cruise

Yea this will be our second time visiting Vegas...I wasnt too thrilled when DH suggested on going the first time (not a big gambler and wasnt sure how DS would have fun there) anyhoo we went because DH had a conference there for work and we wound up loving it! The best parts are the MYSTERE show from Cirque Du Solei, The Sigfried and Roy secret garden, The M&M store and the Coke Cola Store There were tons more shows that I would have loved to seen but DS was only allowed in the Mystere one...and mind you, he did EXCELLENT (always has done great at shows) he has seen Riverdance Once and Lord of the Dance twice, Umm been on numerious airplanes since he was a tiny little guy and NEVER had we had any problems with him He wanted to see more shows but there were age restrictions on most of them. But one day he will be able to see them

He already said that he wants to see Mystere again
