I just checked the one that is too big for the goody bag, and it seems to fit, it also leaves a little more room for the goody bag!!! I haven't put everything together yet!! I'm going to wait until I get on the ship to put everything together, it's much easier to pack that way!!!

You know, I don't know if getting assigned a room in your category means you won't get an upgrade or it can still change between now and the cruise. I'm happy though, since we booked a cat 7, which could be one of three decks, we got deck 7. We haven't been that high up since our first cruise, when we were in 7566 . Since then, we've always booked cat 6, which was on deck 6. Out room is in a very convenient location right above or below the restaurants and near the secret deck. I can run up the stairs to hit the drink station very easily.

It's funny, I was looking at the deck plans to reorient myself with the ship and I realized that I can walk it in my sleep. We just booked our first cruise on the QM2 for next year and as excited as I am, in a way I'm a little intimidated because I have to learn a whole new ship. And it's HUGE. At least we'll have 10 days to explore.

I am thinking good thoughts for you. Hope you get that upgrade, but trust me (I apologize, I forgot if you are a first time DCL cruiser or not) where ever you end up, you're going to love it. I tend to be a little claustrophobic, but the staterooms on the Magic are really roomy.

Sandy, this is our 3rd Disney Cruise...3rd cruise ever....and we have never had an upgrade. Of course, the first time we were in a Cat 4, not much room for an upgrade there! Then we were in 2 cat 8, now 2 cat 11. the only thing that I think is holding us back from an upgrade is that we have 2 rooms booked. Even having a room across the hall with a window would be nice! What room # did you get? we are in 7119 and 7121. we have been on deck 7, but never up the stairwell. I have seen a YouTube video of it though! LOL See you on deck 7!!

Cruise Question...

Actually FE LIST question....

My FE ADULT gift arrived today (Giggle! LOL! Don't you wish you knew what it was????) and I need confirmation as to how many adults are in some of the cabins! I believe most of the people on the list have 2 adults per cabin, but as I recall reading on here, Allen had 4 adults and Donald had 3? Since this gift really DOES require one each, (non-alcoholic) I would hate to have someone miss out if I miscounted!

Denis, I am still seriously considering exchanging yours for a can of Spam, we shall see....

Candy, your girls are old enough they would probably appreciate this too, so I will probably count them as adults too.

Curiosity killed that cat you know... so just enjoy the anticipation and make sure I have an adult count!

Just to save you on a gift, I am the only adult in my cabin.

I just got the news! My travel agent said today that DCL just released military discounts for my (our) sailing and she got it for me! End result for my 2 connecting cabins???? A credit of about $1200 on my credit card!
YEAH baby!

So, if any of you are military active duty ( I DON'T KNOW ALL THE REQUIREMENTS) you may want to run, not walk, to your travel agent and see if you can get a "magical credit." Well, at least, it's magical to me!

I wondered about this. I was trying to decide at what age to consider some adults. I figures of the older teens might not like the kids gifts.

LOL, we're right around the corner from you in 7622! Don't feel too bad, we;ve never had an upgrade after five cruises. I was secretly dreaming that someone from DCL would read the board, see we're celebrating a significant anniversary and upgrade us to a suite. But then, I fantasize about winning the lottery too But like your cat 4, we've always had verandahs, so I never expected it. I subscribe to the belief that you should reserve the room you want to cruise in and not take chances. This time, I decided to try the Navigator's Verandah, because we booked late and it really saved us money I can now use for more drinks

I was right there with you. She is my new hero. I want to be Sarah Palin when I grow up! She had the gloves off and I loved every morsel of it!

He has a grand total on his master list I think, but that isn't the FE list... I am trying to make up my own spreadsheet with the # of adults/kids per stateroom and boys/girls (yes, I have a little gift bag per kid, with a different one for boys/girls!) sorted by deck # so it will be easier to deliver our goodies!

Just had to have some more O2 delivered... that was a hard pill to swallow. We decided to take some AND a concentrator on the cruise just in case he gets sick... being that far out to sea I would feel horrible not having it available. Yeah, DCL would have SOME, but since we know up front that he is tentative, it would not be wise to rely on that, you know?
