I have reservations at the BWI for October 9-22, but I am now having second thoughts. I have been reading how November is less crowded and the weather is better. I am thinking of changing our dates to November 6-19. We usually always go in May, so I have no experience with what the parks are like in the fall. My mom and I are taking my 11yr old niece and my 6yr old niece(her first WDW trip). Should I switch my trip to November??

To consider is Nov is Vaule season, so it will save you some money on Room Rates

But on the other hand you do loose out of Food and Wine and the Halloween party

Oct is more crowded with halloween and they also have a big golf thing that mnth so Nov is better if you want less people but you probably won't be able to swim if thats a big deal.

Last two times we went in October (20-28, 2003) and November (16-23, 2002) and here's some tips from each.

October - temps are warmer than Nov. When we were there temps we around mid-upper 80's all week. You have MNSSHP in MK--a must do if you're there at this time. Food and Wine Festival in EPCOT. Parks are more crowded than in Nov. Regular season rates.

November - temps were in mid 70s to low 80's all week; park crowds were light. Christmas decorations started appearing. throughout parks and resorts. Value season rates.

Hope this helps.
