Oct, Nov or Dec better time to go?

Okay I just got back from a trip last week and of course I am already thinking of the next trip. Dh and I want to do a trip by ourselves. Dh would like to go in Dec. Like the first week. Which I have read is a low time of year. Which is what I want. But what is the weather like then. I don't want to go to Florida when I have to wear sweaters and coats. When I think of Florida I want some sun and to be able to wear shorts and t-shirts. This is why I am leaning towards Oct or Nov. I do think the Christmas lights would be nice. But I wanted to do some things like Kali River Rapids, swimming ect.. Things I did not have time for this last trip. Also when do the best deals typcially come out? I am definately going to need some deals to make a trip again this soon!

The first 2 weeks of December are IMHO the BEST time to go. We always go then and hopefully allways will. The weather is fine. I (hot natured) wore shorts during the day and jeans at night. DW (COLD natured) wore jeans all the time. We both wore short sleeves during the day and brought light jackets with us at night.

december is great!! the parks/resorts are decorated for christmas and of course the christmas festivities are in full swing. definitely december.

My family and I always plan an early December trip. Park decked out in Holiday decorations, some holiday music, nice weather, low crowds...I could keep on going!

Went twice in Dec and both were extremely nice. We swam and wore shorts the whole trip. I also like Oct and Nov too but if it is decos you like go in Dec.

We've gone in May, July, Oct, Nov, and Dec.

May & October were GREAT. Perfect weather. Just the right Temperature.

We went this past Dec. (1st week)...it was crowded.. more crowded then when we went in July, and COLD.
We had to BUY jackets because we didn't expect it to be in the 65-71 range during the day and 40's at night! But there was ZERO rain the whole time. But there WAS a frost warning.

I'd say OCT. Relatively low crowds and your still guaranteed warm Florida weather. As for decorations, you could do MNSSHP and have the Halloween atmosphere. I echo previous posts that December is a great time to go because of decorations, low crowds, etc but the weather is very questionable and seems a high priority for you. We went the second week of December last year and it was COLD. Always had sleeves on and even jackets & knit hats at night. The middle of the day wasn't bad but not swimming weather. It could have been 80 but you never know.

I've been in early November (wonderful weather and small crowds) and I've been the first week of December (moderate crowds and cooler weather) but I've never been during October.

I really should go in October, shouldn't I? YEP! I think I need to tour WDW in October
