woohoo I am booking even tho my APs expire next month! Lol I am addicted!

October 2010:: 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th,
November 2010:: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 29th, 30th
December 2010:: 1st, 2nd, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th

How to you book to get this rate? I already have a reservation, do I just call and ask to apply discount?

Finally, what do I need at check-in? Will the Pittsburgh Entertainment Book have the discount?

You need a valid entertainment card from any state. Or an AP they now discount 50% for APs too
Call their in house reservations and they will adjust if you are booked in one of the qualifying rooms

I just tried to call for my reservation 10/8 through 10/17. The girl I spoke to did not seem to know what I was talking about. I asked for the Entertainment card discount. She told me that I already had a better discount (15% off using a fan website). She said that my room type did not qualify for this offer. We have the 2Q with a Disney view. Does this make sense? On hojo's website, it lists a price for this type of room. Does that mean that the discount is just not available for my dates?

Anyone have experience with this?

PP ~ Did you call the 714 # and did you ask for "In House Reservations"?

I just got off the phone with Desi ~ we're booked for Thanksgiving weekend! 11/24-11/27 ~ $59 for the 1st night and $79 *AP disc. for the other 2 nights!

714 776-6120 did you ask for in house reservations? Their main Howard Johnson reservation line is clueless about the entertainment discount that hojo Anaheim offers. Not all your dates are listed but they will modify the ones they have listed. I would call back and say I need your inhouse reservations

Anyone know why they don't offer the Entertainment rate for September? I understand not wanting to discount the summer months, because those are the big tourist times, but I thought September quieted down. Or am I wrong?

They will most likely add more dates for the summer months and September as they get closer. We got the rate for our dates in June and September last year. They had quite a few dates available for the summer months at different times. Sometimes they don't add dates until the very last minute, so keep checking.

Yay, I just booked two Disney facing connecting (hopefully) rooms for $79 a night the first week of October (all except the last night). Now I guess I have to break it to my husband that we are going on "yet another" Disney vacation.

They will apply it to the nights it is available and give you the standard 15% discount for the others. Then just keep checking and if those days come available call in-house reservations and they will change it.

We just booked for the 3rd - 9th of October in a kids a kids suite I really hope Star Tours will still be open and that we can find cheap airfare!

What rate did you get the kids suite for? Those are the exact dates we are going and when I called yesterday they didn't have anymore kids suites, so you must have gotten the last one. We did get two connecting Disney view rooms though, so I'm excited about that.

We have never stayed at this hotel before. Can anyone tell me how long it takes to walk from the hotel to the front gate?

7 min. tops ~ cross Harbor down near HoJo on your way to the parks otherwise you'll walk down Harbor and cross Harbor with everybody else, this save a lot of time.

We are going to upgrade our vouchers for APs too, do you know if we have to do it at the gate? Also, if we go the "package route" and have park hoppers and the give a day vouchers, can we upgrade both for AP?

Our rate was $99, except for the last night which is $130. If for any reasons I'm changing the dates I'll let you know so you can scope it!
