My mom ignored my post, my flower, my monkey...

Well Mom was out looking for a new son to adopt since this one never seems to show up anymore:rolleyes1 Thats why she didnt respond.

I need a more obedient son who posts more often.

Maybe I should give you one last chance.;) I will watch to see if you start posting more often. (accept your vacation time, which I wasnt invited along:headache:)

Ok I saw the nice flower and cute little monkey you posted son, but implying that your old mom could be cranky?? Whats that all about??

You know I am a sweet, kind, generous, honest, selfless, adorable, happy, MODEST person:angel:

Kathy,
AKA Mutts MOM

Ok things are getting a little "deep" in here!!

MORNING NANAHEADS !!!

We are socked in with fog today. Cool but not freezing like in the past.
No plans for the weekend. Accept to keep track of our 2 colleges football games. Not sure if they will be on TV this weekend or not. I hope so.
I know Greg will be watching too if the Ducks are on TV.

Anybody have plans???

Kathy

Looks like we'll be watching the game on the Duck's website this weekend. Doesn't look like any of the networks will be broadcasting it this time.

You know I am a sweet, kind, generous, honest, selfless, adorable, happy, MODEST person:angel:

It's gittin' purdy deep in here!.....where's my wading boots?! :rotfl2:

Greg, I cant find any bproadcast either?

Not for ducks or Beavers who are a thome. You'd think they would at least braodcast the home game. GRRRR!!!!!

So we will get ou the lap tops for both games.

Keeping webbed toes crossed we win again :worship::worship::worship:

No plans this weekend. It's supposed to get cold and nasty and rainy today so the kids and I are going to stay in the house and watch the Harry Potter marathon on ABC Family today since DD is begging to watch it. I think it sounds like an excellent plan as I was sick yesterday and don't really want to do much today.

Hope Kathy and Greg get to watch your animals today!:happytv: Have a great weekend everyone!:goodvibes

looks like our Ducks and Beavers are NOT on TV for todays games.:sad2:

Happy saturday everyone,
very cold today and drizzly here.

I have a challenge for those of you with good imaginations today.
My son builds unusual themed coops for chickens as well as he sells fresh eggs. Ok right now most of his coops have been themed for the old west.
Such as a saloon, dentist, bank etc... He makes them funny.
For instance a saloon will also have something to do with a Madame and her girls or the Dentist office may have a sign outside that says. Dr, U.R. Hurting.

Now for my challenge to you guys. He is looking for new ideas for his coops.
He is hoping to keep up the old west theme for a few more of them still but needs some new ideas.:confused3
Can you think of any humorious things to put on signs for doctors, dentists, saloon, bank, gunslingers, sheriffs office, undertaker etc...
Or even a different theme all together.

I know its hard to believe but these things are very popular in this area, of course its all farms and ranches around here.
Please let me know if you have any ideas.

Remember to keep it clean people!! These are family friendly coops.:lmao:

Thankyou,

Off to get groceries and maybe a bit of looking for Christmas presents??

Back later today,

Kathy

Ok, the only thing I can think of is something to do with undertaking....
with the owner being named Stiff or something to that nature....since its a western theme...the undertaker was probably a very busy person...:confused

pretty ugly day here also....rainy and overcast.....I hate this time of year but I hate winter even more.....:sad2:

I'm with you Denise. Clouds and rain moved in today and it's been dreary all day. :guilty: Made feel good food for supper tonight though, roast beef and noodles and mashed potatoes. :goodvibes

Been watching Christine's updates and pics on facebook. I could use a vacation! :)

Sorry to hear that you guys can't watch the games... There's always next weekend hopefully. Hope everyone has a great Sunday! :hippie:

Kathy, the DUCKS are ahead at half time!

One of the couples going on our Med. cruise are from California and are avid Bears fans, but their rooting for the Ducks tonight!! :woohoo::woohoo:

The Bears are making the Duck's work for it, but I don't think their "undefeated" status is in jeopardy.:banana:

Shell is putting together a cruise mates list and will e-mail it to everyone. That will list all the info you will need to know.

But she will need your information to add you to the list. Everyone on the list will get a copy of it.
Please send me as much of the following things to add you to the list.
send to sixtoedfrog@yahoo.com Please put the crusi edate on the subject line so I dont delete you.;)

state and city your from
names of all who are in your group, cabin # ( for fE exchange) if you want to do the FE exchange, how many cruises you have been on, early or late dining, photo of family, e-mail address .

if you have kids please put ages (voluntary) by their names so everyone can find kids the ages of their kids to make friends with.

I will see to it Shell gets the info. She is going on vacation in a few days so I gather the information and then give it to her.

This is a short thread for the Bananaheads. :lmao:Most times we cruised together we did up to 35 pages a day as the crusie got closer :rolleyes1

Kathy

Hi again! I am wondering is there not a "published" master list that we can view as we go along? And what are the guidelines for this FE exchange? I guess one of my main questions would be when will th exchange be closed for joining? I'd kind of like to know because I like to take care of this stuff earlier and don't do well with a ton of changes happening right before I am due to leave. We absolutely love doing the FE exchange but just want to make sure this is a good fit because I can't be doing all of my FE stuff days before we leave if that is when we will get the list. Thanks! :goodvibes

So, Shell messaged me on FB the other day and mentioned a possible B2B Nana Cruise and its been on my mind ever since. Dutch and I just got back from MNSSHP (Stony apparently was 'Disney'd out' and did not come with us :confused3:confused3). We had a great time, but now it is time to start planning our next trip. I was just on the Disney site to try and get a general idea of cost and could not figure out why I could not see the Dream for 7 night around Halloween - but NOW I understand you guys are talking about a B2B with a 4 and a 3 night - which makes more sense to me. So, I am going to do a little more digging for dates, cost, flights etc. and see if I can talk Stony into it. Wish me luck - it would be great to see the Nanas afloat again!

No Master list so far but when Shell gets back from their vacation she will send out a list of who we have so far. It will be sent to everyone who has sent me their information that i have given her so she can make up the list for everyone.
I guess you can use that list, then add as you see new people join the thread. Shell updates and resends the list often.
Usually the cut off date for people to join the FE exchange is 30 days prior to the cruise.
Sometimes we will get a last minute family to join us and they ask to do this. When that happens we tell them ok but also let them know people have already finished with their gifts so they may not get too many gifts. People who give to last minute people usually just bring some extra candy or buy post cards on board. Just some little something so those people can join in the fun too.
Again this is optional. We never ask people to do something they dont want to.

The usual routine for FE exchange is really easy.
Everyone on the FE list brings an inexpensive gift to give to everyone on the list. It can be given anytime during the cruise. Usually NOT late the last night because people do pack their extenders by then.
It can be homemade or store bought. It can be one gift per cabin or you can choose to give soemthing different for kids than for adults. Its totally up to you. You can give annonamous (spelling??) or sign your name, again its up to you.

I hope that answers your questions ok?:goodvibes

if not let me know,

Kathy
