Happy monday everyone,

Cold and extremely foggy today. When I look out it reminds me of one of those B rated horror movies where the creature is lurking about, just waiting to grab you and eat your brains.
He will be very disappointed if he grabs me!! According to Greg I dont have any brains



We did buy a new Sony camera. Dont know the model off hand but its a small, very simple one so even i can operate it. It appears to take great photos. I will take several photos today to learn how to use it. Unlike Greg I will read the instructions first.


Nothing else happening here today, just watching winter set in and not liking it.

Just to let you guys know. I am going back and forth on changing my dates. I can get a cheaper price and upgrade going in the first of October vs. November. One of the things depends on if the people that want to go with us can go then. Also i dont want to leave such an awesome "BUNCH" (yes pun intended... LOL) of people!

Morning everyone Sorry I was MIA this weekend, just busy doing lots of for my cruise in less than 4 WEEKS

Another hot weekend (90s) but it looks like it may finally cool down into the 80s and maybe even the 70s. We had a rain storm yesterday that was pretty cool and might have them pop up the rest of the week.

Getting excited cause Friday night I get to see if I could snag some Palo reservations for my 2 night cruise. I really hope I can. Seems like a lot of people on my board want them too. For a 2 day cruise there certainly are a lot of us.

Still no info on the change yet....guess i will continue hanging out with the BUNCH... LOL...i just love using that with all the Nanaheads...LOL..anyway, i have a good day, i have cried all day! How is that a good day you ask, watching some real tear jerking movies...LOL. Watched Dear John, another movie that whould have a Klennex sponser...LOL. Watched Astroboy too.... cried when he "died". Then cried again when they brought him back to life....what is wrong with me...crying over a robot, and a cartoon robot at that... and yes i cried when old yeller died..

Your not alone. I cant watch shows with sad parts without crying. So I try to avoid them at all costs.
When Bambi's mom gets killed I run out to get popcorn.
I know the beast dies then comes back as the prince but still turn away when it comes to that part, with Beauty and the Beast.

Stephanie, I've been crying all afternoon catching up on my Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

Hope everyone is having a good day. It's rainy and cold and just plain "yucky" outside, as my DS says today. So, as soon as I got home from the doctor's office today, I put my jammies on and the kids and I are having a day of catching up on our shows.

I also wanted to share the family picture we had taken 10/10/10 for the Alzheimer's Memory walk. We were only missing 5 members of my family that day, but we are missing 8 in the picture.

Btw, there are 4 generations in this picture, and all 4 generations walked a mile at least.

We are 37 this morning. Too cold for me.
We also have a nasty wind and rain storm coming by friday and will stay for 4 or 5 days.
Of course this is the weekend we will be out and about in the nasty weather. Guess I had better get out the winter coat. I have tried top put it off hoping to hold on to summer a bit longer.

I did pretty good yesterday learning to use our new camera. I will work on it a bit more today and hopefully learn how to down load them onto my laptop too.

Not much going on here. Been watching all the posts about the Fantasy. Looks like pricing will be a little more than the Magic but not much.

So far don't have any plans for 2012 yet. Guess we'll wait and see what's going on and who's doing what before we decide.

Wow I didn't know that. I thought it was the same no matter what level. We haven't booked anything onboard since making gold. Too bad we won't be platinum on this cruise yet as we are planning to book a 7 night Med for next summer while onboard. That extra 75 bucks would be great. But beggars can't be choosers!

Hi Kathy!
Elizabeth is doing great. She had a meet last weekend and dropped time in six of the seven events and basically matched her time in the 7th. It was a great weekend.

We really did get to enjoy the pool as we had such a hot summer. It was the perfect time to put one in. We still haven't closed it! It's hard to let go. But I think the pool guy is coming out later this week or next week to take care of it. It will be sad for sure.

We are just busy busy with life and now starting to get ready for our cruise next month! Going to miss you and the other Nanaheads for sure but Tonya and Trey and Gailyn and her family are also going to be onboard so there will be some familiar faces. We are going to stay at the BCV for one night before the cruise and plan to go see the Osbourne Lights that night with dinner at the Brown Derby and then on to Epcot where they have extra magic hours that night. We figure we can get some park fun in for only being there a short period of time before heading to the port the next morning. In fact, DHS has EMH early morning on Saturday so Elizabeth and I are even toying with the idea of racing over there to ride Rockin Roller Coaster before we have our car pick us up to take us to the port.

So my friend just booked the Fantasy. What I found interesting is that they now require a 20% deposit even if you booked on board. So when she booked the Dream on board they gave her the 50% deposit deal but then when she changed it to the Fantasy she had to pay an additional $200.
