I was just looking at your photos in photo bucket (to cute, by the way) when I ran across this photo...

I LOVE SMARTIES:cool1::cool1: I was bone in Vancouver B.C. and lived there till I was 6 (some family still lives there) And coffee crisps...YUMMMM

Will you be participating in the FE Gift Exchange? Those treats will come your way if you do! Are Coffee Crisps not available in the US?

I am hoping to post a picture of our family today or this weekend. We tried to do it one time and had trouble doing it. Someone mentioned transfering the picture to photobucket or something like that--(earlier post--I need to go back and read it), so hopefully we can figure it out and get a picture posted:thumbsup2 It is fun to look at all the pictures of our "Dis family" for our cruise.

Just read this bit of good news from the Denver Broncos newsletter :thumbsup2

The NFL and the team announced Friday the Broncos will play the San Francisco 49ers at London’s Wembley Stadium on Oct. 31.

Is it just me, or are we (my wife and I) the only adults going on the cruise:rotfl2: We have sailed DCL twice (with 2 more deposited) and did not fell out of place.

Nah. I'm an adult (only when I have to be) and I'm sailing alone! My DH can't miss school :teacher:and our DS doesn't want to go because it may interfere with his rugby. This will be my 3rd DCL cruise but the first as a single.

My children and myself are scheduled for this cruise also. They are John (11) and Ava (7). I cannot wait to celebrate Halloween with everyone on the ship!!

Has anyone ever taken this cruise? I am trying to think of the best excursions for Cozumel and Grand Cayman, any suggestions??

:welcome: aboard!!

We've done one of the "special" Westerns (a double dip).

In Grand Cayman we did our own excursion to Stingray City through Captain Marvin's. You can do this also directly through DCL (but it is cheaper plus you get the choice of more stops- like snorkeling at the barrier reef, etc. going directly through the vendor). The excursion was fascinating and we highly recommend Captain Marvin's. In fact we are going to do it again!! :goodvibes

In Cozumel we rented a car and did our own thing. But I have heard rave reviews of Chankanaab (both for the dolphin encounters and also just the beach there). I have also heard Nachi Cocom is a great "beach day" type of excursion.

Hope that gives you a place to start, enjoy your research!! :thumbsup2

Nope not the only adults - Myself (35 - well, I guess I'll be 36 by the time we go), and my mom and dad (57 and 62 at the time of sailing) will be on board as well (no kids).

I know we have not posted in a while but with the the holidays and work it has been a little nuts. We are flying down on the 28th and staying @ BLT. We are planning to do MNSSHP. Any one else? I like the lanyard idea and Palo. We are going to try to get in on Pirate night. We have taken the cruise before and do not prefer the menu. Now that I am working from home, I should be on the post's more often.

Well, now that you mention it, I would love to do MNSSHP. We were there this past year for the 1st time, and loved it. Thought it was a great value compared to the Christmas Party.

Costumes pirate: will be packed for cruise events, so it seems practical to put them to use 1 more time.

You will not be alone. Janet and I plan to cruise WITHOUT little people. Have done this several time before and love it. I can enjoy watching and interacting with other's children and not need to worry about feeding, dressing or getting them through the meltdown without melting down myself. Lois

We plan on pretending many times that we are there without children..

(IF THAT COUNTS)

My son will be Just 4 months from be 18 (wow that made me a little sick to my stomach when i typed that).....and
My DD will be newly 14!

So they I am sure will live in the stack....and we plan to live in the ADULT areas!!!

DH and I are also traveling without children. This is our 3rd Disney cruise and have met lots of great couples in our age range, older and younger. We are comfortable with all the families, and get a kick out of watching them all have such a Magical :wizard: experience.

We like to book late dining so we can nap or just relax after a busy day in port or meeting and chatting with folks by the pool.

No, We don't have Coffee Crisps in the US. I don't know what they are. The boys loved the Smarties you gave us in the FE exchange.
