Perhaps I'm crazy but just saw this http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2341502

so thought I'd put the bug out there.
Has anyone thought of what they'd like to do while in GrandCayman yet? The tour mentioned in the above link sounds AWESOME! If 20 of us booked together for it, it would only cost $55.00 per person?!! It's an all day excursion (6hrs?), and at that price, thats less than what one would pay for any similar excursion through DCL and is much longer than any DCL excursion.
Has anyone here done this tour before? Anyone interested in making it a group thing here?

This could be a possibility...
My only fear would be OF course not getting back in time.....

In a couple days when i am off and can look into itmore i will get back with you.

Sounds great!!! Would definately consider.

Hi guys! How ya doin? :)

I just realized I hadn't said hi in a few days Have been lurking around of course. I've been working hard on Dis-ing out our door for the RCCL cruise and I've come to the conclusion I'm not all that creative after all! :rotfl2:

This will probably be my last chance to post before leaving tomorrow. Try not to post too much so I don't have that much catching up to do when I get back :teeth:

See you all in 11 days.

Hope you are having a wonderful time! :thumbsup2

We decorated our tree today and I was pretty happy to hang up the Disney Wonder ornament that I had bought on board this past October. Of course, it made me wistful and once again thinking about our next cruise!

Oh those and our WDW ones and our Margaritaville ornaments (that I have been collecting faithfully since 1996 or so) are our favorites too!! Our absolute faves are the ones we got from our "Secret Mickey" on our '08 cruise:

(they even have our names on the back in gold!!) One of our best gifts EVAR!! :goodvibes

Our tree is getting very close to being WDW/DCL and Margaritaville- exclusive! LOL! (In the pic above the parrot is one of the M-ville ones and of course you see the mickeyhead icicle..the feet up towards the top are from a DCL sailor Mickey too!)

ETA: In fact from our several WDW visits this year I have 2 Disney bags (the regular sized ones!) filled with new WDW ornaments for our tree! w00t!

Will you be staying on property? We fly down on Sunday. DH and I are so :yay: excited when we see the countdown clock. Usually spend Christmas there, but will be with our son and his family in Pittsburgh this year.
Will get into the cruise a bit more after the New Year. I try to not wish away the days by focusing on events too far out, but sometimes I just can't help myself.

Have a safe journey.

Joanie

Just a quick hello! Janet and I fly out in one week for a week at the world. I just can't wait. Lois

Hey Joanie - this is our "non-Disney" vacation - but I've managed to be sure we get over there for MVMCP on Tuesday, Dinner at Ohana's, Resort hopping to check out decorations and renting a pontoon for a ride around the lakes! We are staying at our timeshare (which was a use it this year or lose it situation - we've been staying OP at Disney and not using the timeshare - oops!)

Have a wonderful vacation and safe journeys to you as well!

Hello fellow cruisers! We have been back for a week - and while I have stopped in for a peak here and there, I haven't posted - is it time to cruise yet? I sure am ready!

Cozumel was great! Their were several issues - apparently - there was a storm right before we got there and it brought all these flies and mosquitos out of the jungle - for some reason - bugs love my skin and they sure did find me! I ended up having to see the dr who gave me some meds and got me healing quickly!

The other issue was the island was gearing up for their Iron Man race. So, while I was enjoying my Corona and fatty mexican foods, I had to watch others train - I'm sure it was worse for them then me - so I'm ready to stop there again next year!

Today, 2 of our friends set sail on the Wonder -this is their first Disney Cruise - we have filled their heads with all we can and now we are sitting back to wait and see if they book our cruise while on board . . .

I think I am all up to date on our roll call (although I know I still need to update Castaway Club rules), so if you posted an update, and it is not reflected in post #1, please pm me to let me know!

Hey everyone flying out of EWR (Newark)-it's very exciting!! R/T on continental is $228- just booked us going down on Oct 28th (Thurs) and coming home on Nov 7th (Sunday). The past few years it has been over $400pp out of Newark during NJ week- we actually flew out of jfk last year for our cruise. I don't know if it's because they just released the dates or if they've changed their policy, but either way...we've got our tickets and it cost less than $1000! WOO-HOO!!!!! :woohoo:

Good to know, we are so wrapped up in the holidays we weren't even thinking that November 2010 flights were available for booking. $228 is an okay rate for most of the year, but you are correct that it is a great rate for Jersey Week. We will be booking 10/27, returning 10/06 out of EWR. Thanks for the heads-up.

I just checked prices out of Pgh. The only airline posting that far in advance is Continental and the price RT is 255.00. I have a friend that works for USAIR and will give me buddy passes to fly for 10%. It will probably cost around 30.00. The big draw back is the time factor. It usually means a 2 hour trip could turn into an 8 hour adventure with layovers in Cincinnati, Charlotte, Atlanta or some other city. I guess if I take a good book and download movies on my IPOD for entertainment it would be worth it! I can think of a lot of things I could do on the ship with 255.00! pirate:

72 hours and we will be on the plane heading back to Walt Disney World. Can't hardly wait. I only have to work about 3 hours between now and the time we leave. How awesome is that!! Lois

You're welcome. :goodvibes I bought my ticket for my May trip yesterday, too- that was $218. I flew down there 3 times last year, my best price was $198, I think. I'm just so glad we don't have to go out of JFK again- it feels like such a waste when EWR is only 20 minutes away!

....can you fax to me a WDW rice krispy treat dipped in white & dark chocolate?:lmao:

I have NEVER had one of those and gheesh! DO I EVER have the cravings for one of them:cloud9:.

Anywho - have fun and be sure to take lots & lots of pics 4 us;)

CYA.

I will take lots of pictures. Only time will tell if any of them turn out. All I have is the point and shoot cameras but we have three. I will post a few if I get any I feel are good enough to share.

What part of Pgh does he live in? I am in the South Hills area.
You would not want to be in Pgh this week. Besides the Steelers unbelievably, unforgivable horrible loss to the Raiders yesterday:scared1:, it's very, very cold here. It's expected to be cold all week with snow and ice!
If you don't mind could you send some warm Florida sunshine our way?:beach:
