Well, on that sort of same note, I came downstairs this morning to feed the girls breakfast to find the hamster cage open and, yes, the hamster gone. I'm NOT Happy!!!!!! We've been all over the house (as much as I can without someone to move large furniture) and no hamster. DH didn't leave me any message regarding the hamster so I'm not sure if he found it dead and took it out or not. Truthfully I'm hoping for that scenario. Otherwise, we'll be looking under the piano (where the hamster was sitting on) to see if she happened to get in there, etc. and so forth. UGH!!!!!!!!! This is it. I will NOT, I repeat NOT have another hamster (or rodent of any kind) in my house again!!!!!!!!!! UGH.

Well, now that I've vented, I am heading up to get ready for church this morning. Gosh I can't wait for the cruise! It just can't get here soon enough.

Oh, and one other thing (good thing) My girls look AWESOME in their pirate outfits that my mom got them. They both also look absolutely fabulous in their Ariel costumes my mom got them. So cool.

Thanks to everyone who has PM'ed me shirt sizes!! I was on the main board and reading the thread about the photo CD at shutters, I was wondering what the rest of you thought about it. Our DCL pictures are some of the best we've taken as a family, but my two older kids won't be cruising with us. I'm pondering on the CD, I am a photo freak...my thought is after the waves have calmed and I am back to reality, my photos and memories are what keep me going until the next cruise!

I do love the idea, but I think the price is too high for us. I think the photos we got from the Magic and the Wonder are the best photos that we have. I would definitely have loved to get all of them. I think if we were travelling with a bigger party, I might consider it, but $400 for just the two of us is a little heavy for my pocket book. Now, if they sold it for $200 or even $250 I might seriously consider it.

I saw where people who have linked reservations have spilt the CD, and we have linked cabins but I'm not sure if we would meet the criteria. We aren't a family split in two cabins. If we would qualify then I would be all for it...$200 each. I've easily spent that on each of the others cruises. I guess we'll just have to ask.

I have to say for being the picture freak I am, we have only bought one photo for DCL. I also took the same photo and they look identical. All the DCL photo has is the border. Well I buy one photo for that reason but my canon camera must do just fine cause my photos look just as nice....Nah $200 not for me....I bet if we have a contest on here who can have the lowest cruise tab...I am so winning!!

One thing to note about the Photo CD is that it doesn't include the borders. They do not add them nor are you given the option (unlike PhotoPass). So, it is a straight picture, very similar to what you might take. The only time I can see it making a difference is on Castaway Cay, where the photogs got some great photos with the lighting and all. And it's not worth it to spend $400 (or even $200 if I split with MIL) for just one day's worth of pictures....

Will somebody be chasing me with a machete? That's the only way I'm planning on running!

Seriously, good for you for being that physically motivated that you're even considering it. (My MIL thought I was joking when I mentioned it as one of the excursions (or is it an activity).)

No machete, but there is the advantage of being the first on the island..without anyone else and being able to enjoy the sereneness (is that a word?) before the crowds hit..plus the cute little certficate you get for participating..it's a way to head off the big meal I'll eat at Cookies a little later on.

Terri----a couple we traveled with in Feb 2008, would rack up a $1000- $1500 cruise tab...I don't understand that! U can bring your own alcohol so why people spend sooooo much money buying soooooo many drinks, and there is a pop station so NO need to buy Soda. We get a limited edition print and have it signed by the characters and our ornament we have the captain sign, & the girls get a LITTLE trinket from the gift shop but really what a waste to buy a bunch of junk to wind up in my garage sale later!! I guess I am a bit frugal....I would love a massage but that $150 could go to better use for my kids or a family day! So much more comes from that then ever comes from the massage. AS for CAMERAS----I like my canon. It takes nice photos!! I will say I have a few nikons and I dont recommend them!

Last night I stayed up late making our MNSSHP t-shirts, finishing up FE and boarding shirts......wow things hopefully will move FAST!!! I am trying to have everything packed before the kids go to school, cause I am SUre I am not going to have time then...LOL

As for a camera. I love my Cannon Powershot. It's great.

Our camera is a Canon EOS (I think). It has virtually no lag time taking pictures, allowing me to get several in succession and also capture exactly what I what, rather than what appears 30 seconds later! We zoom using the lens (rather than a button on the camera), though it does auto-focus. And we have a long lens, which will come in handy when we are observing our kids interact with Dolphins in Cozumel. I'll be on video camera duty and DH will be on still shot duty. I've seen pictures of the area with a regular camer, so I'm thinking we could get some "it seems like we were right next to them" photos with the long lens. DH has been considering getting different filters, but I don't know if we'll get them before the cruise...

For our t-shirts, MIL and I decided we didn't like the ringer shirts (going up one more size for the body would make the arms way too big). So, I looked around this weekend and found v-neck white t-shirts at Penney's for $8 (shhhh! They're maternity, but since we're "pooh-sized" it's not as noticable). I also got DD a v-neck white shirt, so the girls will be wearing plain white v-neck and the boys will wear the ringer shirts. We'll still be coordinated. I just have to wait for DH's new shirt (larger size - Jiffyshirts.com runs snug) and I can work on that! Cross your fingers that I can figure out the transfers (and whether they're reverse print or normal).

I've also been working like mad on magnets! I have a cute one that someone else suggested, from Phineas and Ferb, a show my kids flove. I considered requesting a Kim Possible one - even though the show isn't on anymore, I still love the characters (and was sad when they stopped showing them). Side note - if you haven't tried it yet, definitely find time to fit in a Kim Possible mission in the World Showcase at Epcot! We did 3 missions and the kids ended up enjoying that side of Epcot, rather than dragging behind us. But anyway, I've always loved Drakken saying "Kim Possible, you think you're all that!" So, I was going to request a picture of them superimposed on the ship or Castaway Cay, saying something like "We think this cruise is ALL THAT!" But, I'm second guessing it.

2 weeks until the start of school and then, it'll only be about a month until we leave! (I find seems shorter if I count in segments....)

They left me a message saying my card (which, FYI, is my bank card) has a high fraud status. I told the guy to cancel my order and I'd just order through Paypal this time. However, now I'm not so sure. Let me know your thoughts!

I think my DH would love to, but he has been barred. He is doing the 10K Race for the Taste the day after we get off the Magic and has been prescribed a couple of rest days before the race.

We used Paypal with no problem. Got our shirts about 3 days later. I just went in to process an exchange and they sent me a pre-paid label to return the stuff I didn't like. No complaints thus far....
