Good Morning everyone....off to work I go. I like working but I am scanning doctors patient charts into the computer....very time consuming and I am not sure the office knew how long it would take. Depending on the thickness of the chart depends how long it takes, and Some u have to scan piece by piece....Arrgghh! I just think MNSSHP, DISNEY CRUISE...LOL

KRISTI---I too do something special in the room for my girls on boarding day. But I make them myself. I get gift bags and little things like sunglasses, light up spinning wands(for dinner entertainment..lol) umm flip flips, autograph books, etc and pack it in my carry on. Then after eating at Parrot cay..Del takes the girls to the pool and I go take care of anything else as well as go set up these bags in the stateroom. They get so excited to think Mickey remembers them every year. and although it takes up a little space in my carry on, it is much cheaper then the gift bags they make. However this time around I need to leave some room for my alcohol bottle...LOL I never brought that before.....

School has started for me. We had our system-wide inservice meeting Tuesday, and then my school went on an overnight retreat. Orientation is tonight, so I will be busy finishing my room today and getting things ready for parents and students tonight.

Looks like this was definitely meant to be. I keep seeing stuff as well when I am out and about and think "My Secret Mickey would love this". At this rate, I will need to take an extra suitcase just for the Secret Mickey stuff.

I finally have my corset for my pirate costume. The first was too small even though I ordered it a size bigger than normal to be on the safe side. So I ordered it again in a bigger size. I had ordered it in silver. The top I am wearing is an indigo blue and the seller had the corset in dark blue and silver. As I was not sure about the exact shade of the blue, I went with the silver to add some contrast. Yesterday, when I opened the package, I realised that instead of the silver, he had sent me the dark blue. After the initial shock, I tried them both on together and it looks stunning. They are the exact same shade. My black lace sarong also arrived and I am very pleased with my pirate costume.

Just checking in with everyone. Today my Lilli turns 7. Where does the time go? I've got 8 little girls coming to the house tonight for a pajama party. Should be fun!

Already started the day off with a massive headache. Hoping the tylenol kicks in soon.

Got lots on the plate today at work. Hoping to have it all done and be able to leave a little early today.

Hubby informed me he won't be able to help with the party tonight cause he'll be playing in a softball tournament. I think the girls will have more fun without a "boy" there. LOL

Good luck tonight Kristi. I did that in February for Amayas 9th birthday, had 8 girls over too but they all stayed the night. Do you know those kids stayed up until 3:00 AM! I was tired the next day but glad I did it for her (although not sure when I'd ever do it again) . They had so much fun!

Hi guys,
Sorry that I haven't posted in a while. I have been lurking though and I'm all caught up, besides Andres (Dismom) wouldn't let me fall too far behind.

Well I finall think that I'm getting somewhere. I know what I'm doing for my FE's and I think that I have a place to stay the two nights before. Oh yeah and the passports should be on their way. Now I just have to save for spending money and I'm golden...

Terri you can just go ahead and say it, Riley kept you up until 3am! It doesn't even take a slumber party to keep Riley and Amaya up until the middle of the night.

Good luck tonight, Kristi! Thankfully, DD(9) hasn't wanted slumber parties yet....with a 4th of July birthday, it's all about Grammy and Grandpop's pool! Bonus for her is she can invite the whole class. Bonus for me is it's at someone else's house!

We got our shirts the other day. DH's is too snug and mine is really big in the length (we expected that) and the arms. That's what happens when you order a man's cut! So, I'll have to get MIL and FIL's opinions, to see if we just order DH the next size up or not. Meantime, I've printed up the frontrunners for DISigns to put on the shirt and taped them (no pins, since I don't know if we're returning them) to see a mock up. Funny enough, the one that I didn't think was in the running is the one I think looks the best...

We also got our iron-on transfers, ordered off eBay. With no instructions. So I gotta look up how to print iron-on transfers....

Father in law just left the house, he has decided to cruise with us. Just emailed DU to get his price and pay for him. Think he is going to fly down on Friday night with Kyle, so just 4 of us driving on Thursday night. He has been with us the last 2 cuises and had fun. Boys looking forward to him going.

Just ordered my formal dress! Figured out the $$$ and realized I could afford it. Of course I didn't choice black like everyone else. It's cranberry & I hope it isn't too bright red. Oh well, red is my favorite color. Now I need to find dress shoes that I will be able to wear without screwing up my knees.

Planning on going back to work parttime next week. My dr note says I can go back parttime, but doesn't have my limitations listed. Now I have to wait for the dr office to give me a new return to work notice with the limitations. Paperwork is going to be the death of me.

Hey Everyone,

My first week back is over. Orientation went well last night. I had 16 out of 20 kids to show up. My room is 95% ready, with the last things being finished Monday morning before the kids arrive.

Patrick had his first "performance" as a memeber of the marching band tonight. The kids showed the parents what they have learned so far and then had a BBQ dinner after. It was really fun. I can't believe he starts high school Monday. Seems like yesterday that I was in high school. How time does fly.

Speaking of time going by quickly, only 8 weeks to go. Personally, I hope the time will go by quickly. I keep thinking 8 weeks from this moment, I will be traveling to Atlanta to board a plane the following morning. It is going to be a long evening, but worth it in the end.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. It is tax-free weekend in Huntsville, so we will definitely be doing our share of shopping tomorrow, both for school and the cruise .

I agree we need to get together before we leave. It is sad we work a floor away from eachother and have to take a cruise to see eachother. We need to plan a lunch somethime, mondays better for me as I have no provider that day, and flexiable on time I can go.

Dad very excited, he had a great time last year,so hope he has the same this time. He does not want to do any excursions this time, but we will see.

off to bed early, have day of school shopping and swim lessons tomorrow.

So my one 4 year old daughter want to dress up as Auroa on formal night. I'm trying to talk her out of it. But, she is has her heart set on it. Which means that my 3 year will want to be Cinderella. My 5 year old doesn't care and will wear whatever I want. So is are they going to be out of place if she dresses as a princess on formal night? Thanks!!

Claybie, Oh my goodness no. My oldest daughter (who was 5 at the last cruise and the only child at the time) wore her Mulan costume for Formal Night. She looked great and fit in beautifully. There were TONS of little girls all dressed up in their princess costumes for formal night. Hope this helps. Kristi

Great afternoon!! It's getting so close I can feel it, just checked out the webcam, it makes me so anxious to be there. I have a request, if everyone who is participating in the FE that has kiddo's could PM me their shirt size I would really appreciate it. I have a little something for them. As soon as the back to school rush gets over with and the few days before High School football becomes the dominating focus for us until the first week of Dec. I am going to try and get my FE's finished and ship them to the Radisson so they will be there when I get there, way too much to pack. I can't believe school is here, so many customers have waited to the last minute to get there uniforms and backpacks embroidered, we have been swamped!!

Well all. I survived. Lilli's pj party was a success and our family get together was also a success. We all got decent nights sleep and all was well with the world.

Got to see Trina's (schmoopiecat) formal gown online. It was one of the dresses I really liked but was bummed wasn't in black. And, her second choice was also my second choice but it wasn't in black. So funny. She's going to look amazing!

Anyway, just wanted to take a moment to touch base with you all to let you know I survived.

We had a racoon sighting last night! We have a screened in porch and keep our two cats out there. We left the cat food out, and a racoon broke through the screen to get to the food. Thankfully, our cats were not attacked. We called animal control and there are two traps out right now. Our cats are being boarded at the vet until we catch the racoon and repair the screen. We are also looking to put up lattice as additional protection. We will discontinue keeping food out all the time, but the animal control guy said if we don't catch the racoon, it will always remember there was food at our house, and will come back if hungry. After all is said and done we will probably pay close to $1000 for everything. We had planned a post-cruise stay at WDW which we will need to really modify (4 nights instead of 8). After all this racoon nonsense, I will be more than ready for a vacation!
