I do think the trick is to work out and then that way you can have what you like to eat. That has always been my motto. Be active and it wont matter that you just ate that triple decker cheeseburger (I love grease too) and large fries today.:) I guess I wont try to tone up until much later because the sooner I take pounds off...the longer I have to try and keep them off. Do it right before the cruise and everything will be just fine:thumbsup2

Robin---yeah I think you are right except if u are trying to drop lbs then u have to restrict ur calories, once I have done that then I maybe able to eat anything as long as I work out. Calories in- calories out = weight lost or gained.

Michelle I hear ya...it is really hard to restrict calories as most everything that tastes good has a ton of them!!! Like Andrea I enjoy the calories too. I wish they would go away, but they dont, so I deal with them....sigh!! I know I should get motivated because bathing suit weather is going to be here before we know it, but for now...I just sit:upsidedow

Robin ----Oh no bathing suit season....I must run and hide...bathing suits and I are not friends right now. I am just havin a depressin day. I am working my butt off and the doc said no matter how much I tone I will always have flab on legs and tummy from losing so much weight...just extra skin...just sucks. I need to win the lotta so I can have it removed....oh guess I would have to play first!

Mindi-I just went onto our site Michelle made up and I noticed your bigger picture. Very nice photo. Love Santa...he looks soooo real:goodvibes

I am soooo excited!!! I get to go see Mickey tonite at Disney on Ice. Now I know it is not the same thing as actually going to his house, but any time I can visit with Mickey is good for me. I think the show is "100 years of Magic". I will take pictures and post any good ones here. Have a great morning!!!!!

Good Morning everyone. We are sitting inside looking out watching the tons of snow fall. Del shoveled this morning about 4-5 inches and now I look out and the driveway doesn't even look like he did it.:confused3 Guess I have to go out and do it before I decide to venture out. I need to hit the grocery store. Since we are eating healthier around here I have noticed the veggies, lettuce, fruits are going faster. I swear the scale better start going down faster....can U tell I am not a patient person...:scared: Well I hope you all have a good day, and think warm thoughts.

Have fun Robin!!! Tell Mickey we all say "see ya real soon"

I know it's kinda early to be asking this question but does anyone know when you find out your dining rotations?

Andria, you would have been so proud of me today, I almost have some other people talked into going on the cruise. It's one of the girls in Amayas girl scout troop. She has some concerns about taking her 2 year old but I told her you did it. I told her I was going to introduce her to you because if anyone can convince her to go you can!

Oh yea,:lmao: Amaya is selling Girl Scout cookies if you know of anyone who wants some :) Won't that be great for everyones diets?

Terri

Thank you! Santa has been making visits to our house every Christmas season over the past 3 years. He makes house calls to raise money for a local non-profit organization!

Mindi--We have had Santa coming too. He comes Xmas eve at 6pm on the dot....LOL He's the same guy that did it for me when I was little, now he does it for my girls. He always says he wants nothing but we always slip him a Gift Card in a card the kids give saying it's for Mrs claus.

Terri---honestly you can request main or late dining and then request a rotation but nothing is in stone till you board the boat!

Terri--Like Michelle said, you can request the rotation, but you find out when you get there.
I would be happy to talk to your friend for you. Bailey had a blast when we went when she was two, and she loves watching herself on home movies when she was "little", because at the ripe old age of 4 she is a big girl now.
Well, it's starting to look like we are going to get our Disney fix in March. It's looks like barring any unforseen events we will be going to DL the week of March 8th. The girls don't know, it's going to be a surprise. Ashleys b-day is the 9th, so we would be there for her b-day. I found a few ways to cut the budget drastically, so it's not going to cost us what it usually does. It's not for sure yet, but the hotel is booked.
I know it sounds wierd, but I can't bring myself to put our FE away. It's just so darn cute I don't want to pack it away where I can't see it. :confused3

Hi everyone...we are back from Disney on Ice and it was amazing of course!!! The only problem (besides my camera batteries going dead!! ) is that Sophie only new Mickey and Minnie (Donald, Pluto, Goofy). She hasnt been introduced to Buzz, Woody, Mulan, Snow White etc.... So during the parts where Mickey and Minnie werent on she was kinda looking elsewhere. I guess I have to break out the disney movies to get her familiarized with other characters. I dont want her to be bored during the shows on the cruise. Tomorrow we will be watching Beauty and the Beast:) Have a great nite everyone

I know...what was I thinking. I thought she would get just as excited as I did to see Pocahontas, but she could care less. I really will sit her down in front of the TV (bad mommy) tomorrow and let her watch some disney movies.

Andrea how lucky are you that you get to go to Disneyland. My friends are going in April to Disney World and they arent all that excited:scared1: I guess they just dont get it:confused3 . Alright I am tired now so off to bed:)

Hey, I'm even starting my little one off right. She watches Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with us and when Lilli watches Lilo and Stitch she's at least seeing it. She'll still probably be pretty much clueless but at least I'm doing my part. :thumbsup2

Things are settled here and the only thing we have left is to clean the house (something we're going to work on today and tomorrow). Then all will be well.

Richard made CD's of all our pictures for me so in the next few days I'll get them onto this computer and will go from there. I'm thinking the easiest thing will be to put them on my one account and just give you all the address so you can check em out. :) There are tons of them. :)

I'll be checking in later! Take care! Kristi

When I booked I requested main seating but didn't request a rotation. Should I do that? Is there one rotation is better than another? Maybe I shouldn't worry about the little things and just be happy I get to go huh? But if anyone knows of anything that you didn't know on your first DC let me know!

Andria-I'm so happy for you that you get to go to DL. Is that the girls spring break? I need to plan something for Amaya and I to do on spring break, we'll probably drive up to Oregon and see my sisters family. I'm still trying to talk them into the cruise too :)

I hope everyone has a good day.

Terri--No spring break is in April, but (one)Ryan couldn't get vacation that week and (two)we prefer to go when it is less crowded. We've alway taken the girls out for a week each year, but with Ashley in High School it is a little more stressful. The dates we are looking at right now the kids will miss 3 days of school, and they are minimum days for Riley. As far as dining rotation, there are small pros and cons for all of them. None of them are enough for me to be "desperate" to get any one of them. One of the biggest things that gets people to request a certain rotation is to be in Lumieres (which is the fanciest of the three) on formal night. I'm thinking I might be somewhat interested in the earliest of the three just because it will give us a little more time between finishing dinner and getting to the show, since there will be 10 of us in our group it will be harder to get seats together the closer it gets to show time.
Robin, all I can say is :sad2: . My children knew the characters before they could form sentaces. You've got to get on that! :thumbsup2 The only Disney movie the kids have never seen (and never will) is Hunchback. There's one scene in there that (I think) is completely inappropriate for kids. The first time we went on the Disney cruise they had the show Hunchback from Notre Dame, but we didn't go to it (the only time we have not gone to the show on the DCL). I'm sure the show on the cruise was fine since it's just a "recap" of the movie, and their was only one scene in the movie I didn't approve of, but since the girls had never seen the movie and didn't know any of the characters I figure it wasn't worth going to.
Well, I'm off to get ready for church, I hope everyone has a good day.

Ok Sophie just got done watching Beauty and the Beast. She liked the songs, but of course was a little frightened by the beast. I will quiz her after her nap so these characters are ingrained in her memory;) .

Andrea I do own Hunchback but never watched it. Gabi has though. What part of the movie is not appropriate for kids?

Robin-please let us know how she does on the quiz. :lmao: I saw the part when Ashley was little, so it was around 10 years ago, but I will do my best...
There is a part where the Priest of the church (that tall skinny guy with the big nose) insinuates to Esmerelda that he would give her some favor, or let her off the hook for something (I don't remember the exact situation) if she would sleep with him. Of course it goes over the kids heads, but I was so upset that Disney put that scene in one of their movies that I turned the movie off on the spot and Ashley didn't watch the rest and Riley and Bailey have never laid eyes on it. Like I said, it was "insinuated", but that was just upsetting to me, personal opinion. But if your kids have seen that movie they wont be allowed to talk to or play with my kids. OK, I'm kidding. Well, I'm off to watch the football game. Man that snow looks cold...it's nice here today, I have my doors and windows open (nobody tell Michelle, cuz she's hating the cold right now).

Ok ok yes I kinda hate the cold, but as long as the snow isn't blowing in the face...I love sledding. Here are the girls after sliding down the massive hill! I wish I would have gotten a picture of the hill so you guys could appreciate all the ,muscles I built today! Worked out the thighs and butt climbing.
