I think the FE idea sounds good. Can u tell me how people print the logo on things, I am assuming after a logo is made then U send it all to us and we can take it to a print shop to have things made?? Sound abt rt? I can't wait to see ur creative ideas.

So, if people dont want to (or cant afford to) do the med. or european cruises will they still have the Wonder going to the caribbean and would that do the eastern and western?

While the Magic is in Europe, the Wonder will do two different 5 night itineraries as well as the normal 4 night itinerary. One five night itinerary will consist of Key West, Day at Sea, Nassau and Castaway Cay and the other of two stops at Castaway Cay, Nassau and a day at sea. I have also read that the wonder will do a Eastern and a Western Caribbean cruise over the Christmas/ New Year period while the Magic is doing two Southern Caribbean cruises.

Hey all! Hope everyone is doing well! Have a great time in Australia beansf! FortheLove - yes as soon as everyone has aokayed the logo I'll make sure it's put out for all to use. My last cruise was the Cruise-A-Palooza's and we had a logo that was a treasure map with Pirate Mickey opening a treasure chest and our cruise name and date on it. We used it on shirts and we used it on our gift/goodie bags. It was cool!

I promised I'd try to get something to you guys picture-wise. I still don't have my Disney pics up yet (other than on my facebook account which if I try to copy them from there they are tiny little pics that no one can really see) and will try to get to that tonight. Yes that means I actually have an evening that's "normal." What a hoot. Anyway, I have downloaded the two pics of our precious little bundle of joy onto photobucket and am now attaching them. Enjoy! Kristi.....OMG Katelin is sooo cute. Makes me remember my girls...ya just wanna hug and kiss their little cheeks.
Let me ask ya this...the FE and tag. Does that mean that u are doing an FE gift for someone everyday? what about havin a certain day. Like if there are 40 rooms and not counting sat. since we r all just boarding and getting situated but that maybe 7 cabins have one day and 7 another and so on and so on. I mean I don't care what we collectively decide but I would love to just do all on one day and would love Sunday. I like ur tag idea except that means I have some to do everyday and as much as I am excited about this , I also wanna enjoy my free time....LOL

I completely understand. We didn't have a huge group so we found either late in the evening before dinner (we had 2nd seating) or first thing in the morning on the way to breakfast we could run by someone's room and tag them. I have no problem with taking just one day and making that the day we all get together (which the group I was with did as that was how we got our "marching orders") and exchange gifts that way. I'm flexible. We can designate an area on the ship to meet up and go from there. Obviously if we get too large of a group we'll definitely have to do some thinking on the easiest way to do things. We can look further into this the closer we get. About 4 months out from the trip we'll have people confirm whether they are or are not doing the gift exchange thing and then we'll have a better idea of how things will "play" out. HOpe this helps! We did our onboard meeting at 3pm the first day at the Promenade Lounge, we had a huge turnout. We even had a group photo taken by DCL, on Thurs (sea day) at 10:30.

for fes it was totally up to us when we were to deliver. My daughters and I did most of them on our first day back from CC. ( we had to be back onboard by 3) We had gifts all week in our f/e except for Friday. I would worry if you tagged someone, they might have plans and not want be able to tag back right away.

I think that would be fun to do a meet and greet the first day and get our picture taken. Atleast we would then know everyone and can say "hey" to each other as we pass by the pools.

As for the FE's, I dont care how we arranged it as I am pretty flexible. I do kinda think it would be easier if everyone had a certain day to pass them out, as this would then free up the rest of our time to do whatever. I dont know...I dont care...someone just tell me what to do and I will.

I think so far everyone in our group has said that they want to participate in the fish extender exchange. How many families/rooms does that make it?

I am excited I found something for my kid FE's today. The tough part about finding things now is you don't know how many to get and yet you don't want end up with not enough. Like we have about 18 or so kids and I could only find 30 of what I found. and so far Katelin is our only little bitty. Kristi did you say she should be about 15 mos, just curious cause we have to find cute things for her that are obviously different from the other kids.!

Hey all. Love the list of names, etc. Thanks so much!!!! As for Schmoopiecat, she is my bestest friend. Her name is Trina. Her husband's name is Don. They don't have any kids. My children are their children. If you know what I mean. As for my in-laws. I'll have to see if they have booked yet or not. They just got back from an African safari trip (2+ weeks) so I don't wanna jump on em just yet. I also am not sure they will do this thread or be interested in joining in. So don't worry about them for now. As for Katelin, she'll be about 15-1/2 months when we travel.

Now, here's my thoughts on the gift exchange/meet thing. I completely agree about picking a day (early is good) to meet and have our picture taken (I have a pic of my group when we met). It'll give us a chance to see each other and also give the kids a chance to meet (especially since it looks like alot of them are going to be around the same age bracket). Then, I say let's not worry about tagging at all. I'll give everyone a list of names with room numbers, etc. and it'll be your choice as to when you decide to give your gifts. That way no one is "demanded" to do gifts at a specific time as there could be things you wanna do during that time frame. So it's a free fer all. Basically, my suggested rule to this is, have all your gifts delivered by Wednesday evening. That gives you Saturday thru most of Wednesday to deliver your goodies and then it gives us Thursday to figure out how to pack it all. I hope this sounds good!

I'm just asking cuz I told my daughter that she would have something everyday in her pocket and if noone is delivering after weds, then I will have to fill it the rest of the days. I love the idea about meeting and having a photo taken. My DH isn't into this whole thread thing but I think that he would enjoy hangin out in the lounge watching the SUnday night football game with the DH's that like football. That's prolly where my DH and my BIL will be. My husband said he hasn't decided if he'll get off in Key West or just hang out watchin football. Though I am sure he will get off the boat and enjoy key west.
I just ordered my FE from Tiffany...I told her I don't need it till 1st of Dec. It's a xmas present for the family and that way if she's busy making others then she doesn't feel like I need mine right now. Loved designing it, can't wait to see it.

My dh will be in Diversions watching the Steelers if they are on that weekend. He came to the last meet, and he wasnt that interested. he did like all the great info I got off this board though.

our fe was empty on all day on Friday, but that is okay, we had so much through the week.

my kids name are Gabby 10 (11) Natalie 8(9) John jr 5 (6).
Dh is John too.

I am sure the list will continue to grow, we had atleast 6 added after the "official" list was sent out, but no one seemed to mind.

For the FE - I agree with just giving everyone a list of participating cabins and trusting the process. That is how we did it last time and we ended up getting stuff every single day. We delivered some of our stuff different nights after dinner by floor.
