Where will you be on 10/1? There is a group meeting at the Raddison for dinner. A few of us will be at Disney. Where would be a good place for us to say before the cruise. You don't have to change your plans but if two or more will be at the same area, it will be a good oportunity to start our adventure

I will be staying at Beach Club villas and will be visiting Epcot or MK, not sure yet.

Also, when are you heading to Port Canaveral?

We are leaving the house on 9/29 and will stop to visit friends in Charlotte, NC, then we will continue down to BCV Saturday morning enjoy the day at a park and get ready for our cruise. We will return to BCV after the cruise has ended

As far as I know, character breakfasts are only on the 7 day (and longer) cruises.

Yes. Hi all! I am Secret shadow/Teen Of Egypt! woo hoo! ck99c02: There is supposed to be a meet in ALOFT or Common Grounds for teens the first night around 7pm. Purpose: Come and . Make it quick or as long as you want. Enjoy the with us. This is just the beginning. It will be great for the kids to get a jumpstart on things and get to know the others before they hit the clubs you know what I mean

We are game for anywhere on deck 10. Just let us know where to be!!

Yeah, I only have one kids bracelet but there are 17 adult bracelets left. Would you like some of those? I feel your pain on the one bracelet for three kids. I have 2 boys 4 years apart and I would have trouble splitting one, I can only imagine 3 close in age

Where in Texas??

We are in Austin and my in-laws are in Sugarland, about 30 miles inland from Galveston.

It looks like from this mornings news, we will get some much needed rain this weekend and that's about it. But, my in-laws...that's another story. They moved my husbands grandmother from her nursing home last night. It took 4+ hours to make the normally 45 minute trip and she was not doing well. So, I am not sure if they are going to try and ride out the storm or come here today. Phone lines are already jammed in the Houston area and we are really only able to comunicate via email.

Will you be carrying bracelets with you? That way we will recongnize you. That is a great idea. Please bring ours that way we can be ready for Sail Away.
My youngest brother lives to the east of Houston in TX. My mother spoke to him last night. We are prying for his safety while he makes an effort to escape.

All: Sadly, I will not be able to meet anywhere on Oct 1 , our plane does not get in until 1am on Oct.2.

I finally heard from my TA. We should get our documents by the end of the week (tomorrow!!). We have a local travel agent.

Our flight dosen't get in until late on Saturday night, so I don't know what we will be doing.
I still have so much to do before we leave, but I am so excited I can hardly wait!!!!!!

Just got word from my MIL. My FIL refuses to leave, looks like Rita is tracking more eastwardly and it doesn't look as bad for their area.

The bracelets have been shipped, I have a FexEx tracking number and they should be here tomorrow. WooHoo

Hello All!!
I have talked a lot about Grills in Port Canaveral. Here is link to their web site. There are pictures of the "view" as the ships go buy, as well as a menu. Also check out the Sunrise Marina site. Grills is part of the marina. The marina has a "live" web cam as well. For perspective, the current location of the camera is actually mounted to the corner of Grills building.

I will give the other 2 to the kids (they are older, adult size is fine) in the other family from my area that I know are sailing with us. If you wear all your extra in the terminal we will be sure to spot you!!! or I will see you at the appointed DIS meet time and place onboard. Tenatively Deck 10, around 4:45? I must read back thru old post!!!

I am sad to say that my brother was not able to get out of Beaumont, TX (job). He will have to stay behind. He is exactly 35 miles away from the Gulf. We are hoping for the best. We are trying to continue to plan this vacation, but is hard when you have loved ones in the path of this monster storm. Specially after Katrina. I spoke to him last night and he was in very high spirits. The family and I keep praying for his safety and the safety of everyone else that for any reason had to stay behind.
