Went last year closer to Halloween and it was crowded. What do you think the crowds will be like early in Oct. ? thanks

In 2003 we did Halloween night. It was a sell-out. We personally thought it was very crowded.

In 2004 we did the first party of 10/1. Had a blast. It was soooo empty. At one point right after 7pm we were the only family in fantasyland. No matter where you looked you could only see CM's. Not another guest to be found. It was a little eerie. However, we enjoyed the "empty" party much more.

We are also going Sunday, October 2nd. We couldn't decide between September 30th (Friday) and the 2nd, but, according to some of the board experts, the Sunday should be less crowded because the local kids have school the next day. Have fun!!

Count us in for 10/2 as well!

we'll be there on the 2nd, but I'm also thinking that it won't be so crowded so early in the month. Maybe our little DIS group will be the only ones there! ;) :cool1:

We went on a Thursday, I think it was the 14th last year. We didn't find it busy at all. We had a great spot for the parade in Frontierland, and we walked on all the rides in that area. It was busier over towards Fantasyland and Tommorowland, but not horribly so.

Honestly, I think it will be very crowded this year for the first week of Oct due to the free dining. A lot of people booked trips then to get into MNSSHP and the food and wine festival. I think the 30th, 2nd MNSSHP will be very crowded. I think the low crowds this year will be the second week of Oct. after the 10th.

We'll be there the 2nd as well. I haven't been to MNSSHP since 2001 and it was practically empty back then due to 9/11.
We went to MVMCP in Dec. 04 and it was packed but even then the only problems with crowds were for the free cookies and cocoa and it was alittle cramped in Tomorrowland.
I'm gonna try not to stress about Oct. 2. We'll have fun no matter what!!!

The sell outs are always Oct. 31, then parties on Friday nights and parties around the Colombus Day weekend. Other than those, the rest seldom sell out (but, of course, never say never). Any night that has an AP discount on it, are the slower days and rarely sell out. Last year there were only a couple of nights that sold out....see the beginning of my post to know which nights sold out.... :earseek:

I hope 9/30 isnt too crowded, we are leaving on 10/1 so this was our only option.. we havent been to this before so are hoping it wont be too crowded..but either way we are looking forward to it

We will be there on 10/2 as well.. Not my first choice of nights but I didnt want to do it later in the week when the Columbus Day crowds start.

This is great!! I was thinking that Oct 2 would be unexciting as there wouldnt be much of a crowd. I just purchased my tickets now that I know there will be so many "Dis friends" there.

My DS6 will be the Peter Pan running around. I tried to tell him Peter Pan was really a girl but he said "NO WAY" :rolleyes1

Yes I will be wearing some lime green ribbon on my visor. So I hope a lot of you say HI :wave2:

I made ressies that night for Tony's at 6:20pm about a month ago. Times were going fast for both places, Tony's and Liberty Tree. I asked for a few choices between them; so, I know the times were getting booked.

AP holders get a discount this night to attend; so, that's an incentive for them to come.

I'm like many others going this first week because of the free dining package and the F/W Festival, too. That's a great combo.

I understand that some school breaks are the first week of October for the all year round schools. This could add to the crowds.

I don't think we will be as crowded as Fridays or Halloween night.

:cool1:  :Pinkbounc :earseek:

DH and I will be there also!! :grouphug:

:earsgirl: shopgirl(arly)

We'll be there on th 10/11. Can't wait, as this is our first time to MNSSHP!

What time should we try to enter the MK? I've read as early as 4 PM on some of the boards.

I´m starting to worry, I bought tickets for 10/7 and it´s friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! is going to be very crowded?

Fran99999-
Peter Pan is not a girl, although some women have portrayed the role on stage.
