Oct. 2 Halloween Party Questions

Sorry if this has already been asked but I have a couple of questions. Oct 2 is sold out (that's my bday...) what are the chances of getting tickets for the party the day of the event? Even worth going?

And how do they clear everyone out...? Isn't it possible for people to sneak into and just walk around?

If you are inside the park that day already is it possible for them to sell tickets at city hall for example?

I know some people have had luck by calling to see if there are any available but I think that was shortly after they sold out online. I've also heard in the past some people staying onsite were able to get tickets from the hotel to sold out dates with a very limited amount coming available. I tried the ticket booth several years ago as I was planning to buy tickets the day of and no luck, it had sold out earlier that day.

It would be really tough to stay in the park without a ticket. Partygoers are issued a wristband and close to the party time they start to rope off the lands so you have to have a wristband to get in, then within each land there are CMs also checking for your wristband.

Right after the tickets sell out online, it is usually possible to get tickets by phone or at the tickets booths for a very short time. After that, it becomes harder to find a ticket. If you have the extra money, you can try booking the BB Mystical Spirits dinner package. Some people have been able to get MHP tickets on sold out dates by booking that package. Also pricey, stay on site and be at the hotel desk first thing on the morning of your desired party. In the past, the on site hotels have had a limited number of tickets available for guests.

That's my birthday also! I hope you can get tickets! I think it's so much fun that Mickey is throwing a party on our birthday...

Unless you are with a group that already has tickets for that night (and even then, slim chance) I would not count on day of tickets. If they have been selling tickets to those with the MSBB packages that would be your best bet...it would be gaming the system but you could book the package, get tickets, then cancel the dining package if you do not wish to attend....

Remember for next year: the first weekend in October is usually/always Gay Days, so the party on that first Friday usually/always sells out. Make sure to get your birthday ticket early next year (tickets went on sale in July this year)! And have a very happy birthday!

It's true They rope off the lands & if you don't have a wristband they tell you they are sorry and don't let you in.
