The FLYERS won 3-1:Pinkbounc Yeah!.

JULIE: If you have the baby on Christmas you and Garry need to choose a name that reflects that he/she was born on Christmas. Something like Christmas "Carol", Noelle or for a boy "Kris" Kringle or St. "Nick". Start working on that!

Haven't talked with Bobby but I think he is busy getting his new company started (well at least I hope that's it!). He & a partner have a new mortgage company with a start up date of 1/2/04.

Any one have plans for New Year's Eve yet? I never go out on New Year's Eve but this year I have a "date" & we are going to Medford Country Club for New Year's Eve. Hope everyone's New Year is filled with love, laughter and health. Have a very Merry Christmas. Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

Back from another hockey weekend. This time we were in Augusta, GA. Good thing this was just exhibition games since we won 1 and lost 2 games. The kids were tired but they played well.

I can not believe Christmas is less than 4 days away! Where did this year go?

Hope everyone is well.

Happy Holidays!

Hi guys. Still the crazy life, as I'm sure you all agree.
-Krista, oh man, that dinner sounded yummy.
-Sandy, good news from the Doc and the mailman!
-Denine, don't be getting a reputation as a 'dizzy broad' now. It's good that you are listening to your body.
-Julie, wow, speaking of messages from our bodies ... that baby is rounding third and heading for home. You have either had a really nice pregnancy or just not complained much :p . It sure has come up fast (for US! )
-The gift exchange... Katie is DYING to open that thing but I have held her off. It has a slight layer of dust in fact. I guess Jan 1 is OK. We'll be in town. Sandy, if a short notice date is chosen, call me!
-Jeanne, have a great date for new years. I haven't even thought about what to do yet.
-Hi Susan. Hi Barb and Sally.

Just finished reading "The DaVinci Code." It was a fun read. I like to try and solve mysteries before the characters so this was a good one for me. I got two of them right. Entered the sweepstakes for a trip to Paris, too. Think I'll win?

Time to catch up on sleep now. In case I don't get back on for a few days... Have a wonderful Christmas everyone. Good luck Julie!

What a nice surprise! I was "flexed" from work today. It must be slow so now I only have to go in for Christmas Eve. I have already been food shopping & hope I won't have to go back until after Christmas. I am planning on waxing my floors today because tomorrow Bobby is coming to New Jersey & we are going out to dinner. He found out that the New Year's Eve Party is black tie

:groom: and I don't know if my gown from the cruise will fit. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to go SHOPPING after Christmas.

JULIE: You didn't tell me what you thought of those Christmas names. Talk them over with Garry:chat:

Getting very excited & nervous. Excited:goodvibesover Christmas but nervous :scared1: over all the cooking & everything getting ready on time & tasting good. Hope you all are ready for Christmas because Santa is on his way. Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

Jeanne, you will have a blast for New Years Eve. I'll cross my fingers that your gown fits. Would hate to go buy one this time of year! $$$$$$$$$:o What are you cooking up for Christmas?

Julie, good luck about the Christmas baby. My SIL has a Christmas birthday and her name is Glory.

Susan, we should have guessed that you were busy with hockey!

Lori, I will call you if I haven't seen you on regarding the gift exchange time and date.

Lots of babysitting ahead this week. I took Noah and Graci on for M-W. What was I thinking? My antibiotics definitely worked. I am doing much better. I feel like a human again.

Good Morning!!

It is cold and windy here, but it is suppose to warm up later.

I wish I were more ready for Friday. I have not been able to pack or do anything that would make the girls suspicious.

Picked up Jaymee at the airport on Friday. Bob and I almost didn't make it. My Mom and Dad were in their car and took the toll road. We took the highway. BIG BIG BIG mistake!! Lots and lots of traffic. I just don't understand how people live in that every day!! I would lost my mind. Jaymee's plane landed on time but thank goodness the airport was so busy that they could not de-plane for an hour. We got there minutes before she got off!!

It is nice to have the kids home!! Jason is teaching Tiffany to drive a stick shift. I am glad he has the patience to do it. Her car is a stick and I was a little concerned she would not be able to drive it.

We still have not received our exchange gift. Hope it is not lost somewhere.

Hope you are feeling better Sandy and Bonnie!

Julie you never have told us the name you picked out. I love the Christmas baby name idea. Jaymee is a New Years Eve baby and I wanted to name her Holly Noelle. But her father didn't like it. Now had I known............

Barb:smooth:

I can't believe it is almost Christmas!!!!!!!! I have been baking all weekend and have 1 batch of cookies left to make today. I am once again exhausted! But, we also went out Saturday night and didn't get home until 2:30 AM. We enjoy getting together with friends, but it is so tiring to stay out that late.

Julie: I had my flu shot on Thanksgiving. Kaleigh hasn't had one, but she has a doctor appointment next Monday, so we will see. Hopefully we will get our Secret Santa before we open them after the first of the year. A Christmas baby? I have a friend that named her daughter Brooke Noel. A BIG BOY bed? Wow, he must be feeling grown up!

I am in agreement. We have to meet in Arkansas for a dinner party by Krista. I can stop an see my moms friend while we are there.

Sandy: Glad you are feeling better. Glad you enjoyed the picture of Kaleigh. I still need to get a frame to put the 8x10 in. Congrats on the 10 pounds!!!!!!!!!

Barb: I am excited for you. I don't know how you have managed to keep the secret for so long.

Jeanne: What a good excuse to get a new fancy dress! We are having a couple of friends over. We usually go to a friends house for NYE.

Lori: That's me, the dizzy broad!

Sue: Too bad about the hockey games.

The snow is melting! We never got as much as they predicted. Not going to complain about that!

Christmas dinner will include turkey, ham, stuffing, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes & turnip mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, string beans & creamed corn. I did BUY a veggie tray & we will have appetizers of shrimp, pepperoni & olives. For dessert I have pumpkin pie & coconut custard along with a spumoni ice cream roll. I am still not sure of who all will be here for dinner but the more the merrier!:grouphug

I was glad to see some postings. I felt like I was talking to myself. I received my secret santa package a few days ago:bounce: :Pinkbounc Do I have to wait?:jumping1: because I am toooooo excited.

Have to go banking online to make sure I am not bouncing anything! Have a great countdown. Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

Moving a little better...too much at times and I wear myself out. Head cold on top of the bronchitis isn't helping much. I may go to the doctor today for antibiotics. Hopefully they will help.

Christmas dinner is at my son's house. Buffet style since there will be 19 people. Whatever happened to nice quiet family holidays? Although that is my DIL's family. We will probably go for a short period of time...maybe stay about 3 hours then home. That will test my stamina for sure. I may also attempt driving.

I still have not sent off my secret santa...probably won't get to it until next week unfortunately. Although I have not received mine either.

Julie-How are you hangin' there kid? Will we have that Christmas baby? You have to post when you are off to the hospital...priorities you know!

Krista-love the picture of Clare!!! She looks more and more like you! Beautiful. I wish I was there for your dinner. I want to hear how it went.

Sandy-Thanks for the picture of Glenn and I. I look goofy...Glenn looks great as usual!

Denine-love the picture of Kaleigh...she is a cutey pie...such a sweetie.

Barb-have fun in WDW! Looks like you pulled it off. I hope you have better weather than last year!

Well...I have the tree up and decorated. the rest of the house didn't get decorated but that's ok. I cannot fit in any clothes!!! Amazing how the body shape changes when they cut the abdominal muscles! I am really bummed!!! And I can't exercise for weeks. Not fun getting old!

1 1/2 weeks till GLenn gets here ...I can't wait. It is getting too hard! Especially when I can't do anything.

Good morning and I mean morning...it is 3:40. I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep....was thinking about all I have to do. They install the carpet today...finally. Jason and Bob came over last night and finished moving the heavy stuff out onto our patio..sure hope it doesn't snow. Not suppose to, said it is going to be warmer than the last couple days.

It has been a strange holiday season for me....didn't decorate inside but did the outside. The house is so torn up that it isn't much like Christmas. I have bought some cute things at Kirkland that was on sale for next year...have to make up for this year.

I have been reading about the orange alert and how the airlines are a prime target....sure makes me feel good about flying to DW.

Bonnie, you better take it easy for awhile....bronchitis isn't fun if you were in A-l shape to start with.

We will be gone until Jan. 5th and Barb won't get back until the 8th or so as they are driving. She leaves the 26th and we leave the 29th. They are taking our truck too so they will take our luggage and we won't have to go through all the security....our granddaughter left last week and said they went through everyones suitcases...they didn't do that when we flew in Sept.

I am going to a movie and have lunch with a friend today and leave Dick to deal with the installers. I hope it is all finished by the time I get home...then the real work begins. I have to get things back in order, cook for tomorrow, wrap a few more gifts....I have started packing though.

The count down has started....3 more days until Christmas....and it was just Halloween a couple weeks ago.

It was great to wake up this morning to all this chatter.

Krista, thanks so much for Clare's picture. She is sooooo adorable. Her eyes are so beautiful and I love her hair color with the red bow. Where was it taken? Cute pic! Don't forget that after the holidays you are cooking all of us dinner! I thought that it would be nice to hold it off until after the Holidays!

Sally, when we left DIA everyone had to take off their shoes so be ready for that. Flying makes me nervous now too. My brother and family is in CA until Friday. They went to DL for Christmas. Glad that your carpet is in finally. What a great Christmas present. Don't you just love Kirkland?

Bonnie, you can come to my house for a quiet dinner. It will be Heidi, her boyfriend and Ted's dad and his ladyfriend. Not bad. Just kept it simple with a spriral cut honey ham, potato casserole, strawberry salad and homemade rolls. OMG, I just remembered a dessert. Grocery shopping tonight. GO TO THE DR. So happy I did. The antibiotics helped tremendously. I almost feel like a whole person today. You did not look like a dork in the our picture. I absolutely loved it and so did Ted and Heidi.

Wow Jeanne, your menu is huge. I used to cook like that but with the guest list getting smaller I don't anymore. Whoever sent the gift to you should have marked on the package DO NOT PEEK like my secret santa did.

Denine, I am not sorry that I don't bake cookies anymore! It takes up a lot of time, huh? We really aren't cookie people anymore. My family HAS to have peanut brittle and chex mix. My goodness, you are party people. 2:30 am? I haven't seen that time in a very long time!!!!!!!!!

Barb, I love the name Holly Noelle. I can't imagine what you are going through right now. Excitement and fear of getting packed. Can't wait to hear how it all pulls together and..........all about the trip itself!

Well, Graci has croup so yesterday was HORRIBLE. At least Noah was extremely good! Hope today is better. Better close this as it is time to get them. Have a wonderful day everyone. Missing your posts Susan!

My baking is finished! It takes a lot of time, but I love to bake. I don't get much opportunity since we are always on diets. Jerry is a major cookie monster!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As of today, I am on vacation. I am not doing any housework or cooking of any kind.

Has anyone ever made cornish hens? I was going to do an all appetizer evening for NYE, but I just don't have the time to make several different kinds.
Proposed menu:
Butternut squash soup OR chestnut soup
Cornish hens with wild rice stuffing and almond glaze
salad
a vegetable
rolls
Christmas cookies for dessert
Crackers and different spreads for later in the evening

I have read anywhere from 1/2 hen to 2 hens per person. Since I have never made them, I am not sure how many to make per person. There will be 4 adults plus Kaleigh and Ollie.

Sally: I can't sleep either when I have too much on my mind. Enjoy your new carpeting.

Bonnie: Glad you are up and about. Don't overdo on Christmas.

Jeanne: Dinner sounds great. We are having dinner at Jerry's parents. Most probably ham. His mom talked about doing a duck too.

We are thinking about flying when we got back to WDW in February. We haven't flown in years and to add a toddler to the mix!

Did grocery shopping with my mom this morning/afternoon and I am exhausted! Of course she had to do all the carrying in and packing the car then she vacc. the LR for me. She said she was going home to take a nap!

I got my Secret Santa today!!! I have the person who has me so I am sorry but your's won't get to you until after this weekend. I should have had my mom take me to the PO today but after groceries I am knocked out.
I didn't go to the MD today. My mom's bridge came out so she didn't know when she would get here so I couldn't make an appt. I will survive I am sure.

Hey...not bad...2 posts in one day!!! Off for a nap now.

Good Afternoon!!

Yesterday was a sad day. Tiffany called me in the morning and said one of her really good friends (Erin) 19 year old brother was killed in a car accident on his way to the airport to come home for Christmas. After I got home from work my Mom called and said Patty's sister in law (Sue) died yesterday too. When I got into work this morning one of my co-workers friends died yesterday.

Been working on calandars to give each one of the kids in their Christmas surprise gifts. Almost ready.....

Bonnie glad your gift arrived safe and sound. Glad to hear you are feeling well enough to get out shopping you are a bouncer backer!!

Hope everyone has a great day.

Barb:smooth:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GARRY!!!!!!!

Even though he has to work tonight, I really hope he has a great day!

Well, Merry Christmas Eve Everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday! I will think of all of you!

As you can still see, I'm still here, knock on wood! I am very uncomfortable now with the huge belly, but I am working through the discomfort. I have lots of pressure and the Braxton Hicks contractions going strong, so................ We will see what the doctor has to say tomorrow. I have an appointment today at 9:30 am then my stress test right after. My exam tomorrow is an internal so he better not do too much that might cause me to go into labor! As long as I can see the kids open their gifts Christmas morning, I will be happy! I'll keep you all posted!

Jeanne, I like your holiday names. We will see where this holiday season takes us! LOL!

Barb, I am so sorry to hear about all the deaths that have happened to your friends and family. Just remember, deaths come in threes, so you are "done" for awhile!

HAPPY BE-LATED ANNIVERSARY TO JOHN & LAURIE LANDAAL!!!!! DEC 23RD!!!!

Well, gonna fly! Will check in later today!

Merry Christmas to all of you!

Happy Birthday Gary.....Happy Anniversary Laurie and John.....

It's in!!!!!! Finally after all the wait my carpet is so soft it feels like you are walking on a hugh sponge......love it. It is a very soft light beige but it looks off white until you put something white against it and then you see the color.

I had gone to a movie and lunch with a friend. I wanted to come home to a finished house but they didn't finish installing it until after 5. Then Bob and Jason and Patti's son Kenny came over and they got all the furniture back in the house.

Dick went to bed as he is getting a cold and I went out to eat with Barb and the kids. Then we went to the mall and Patti met us there.

Today I am going to wax, polish and shine everything in the living and dining room. I love to clean when something is new.

Well Santa has his sleigh loaded and on his way.....tomorrow is the big day for Barb....it sure has been a test to keep the surprise secret...Tiff knows something is up but not what yet. She is kind of sad because her boyfriend told her he is going out of town to visit his grandparents.....can't wait to see her face when she finds out what is up.

When we picked Jaymee up she wanted to know why Dick had tickets in his shirt pocket. He had been checking on our flight and didn't think about it. We had to tell her a little white lie and say we were flying to Ohio to see his sister.

I have to get some things cooked for tomorrow and make some place cards....it is a wine glass with a tea light and Disney shades. Merry day before Christmas everyone!!!!

Good morning,

Julie, good luck. Never thought about watching the kids open their gifts and the birth of the baby. Hope it all works out for you! My family will be thinking about you! Keep us posted.

Sally, your house must be about done. How wonderful! I like to clean when everything is new too. I hope to get new carpet in a year or two. We are holding off until Graci gets past the sippy cup stage. We need it very badly. Ours is all buckled.

Happy Birthday Garry!!!!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Happy Anniversary Laurie and John! :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Merry Christmas EVE to all!

Good Morning and Happy Holidays! Christmas Eve has arrived! Finally away from work for a few days. It sure was hectic the last few weeks. In other words, nothing new!lol

Happy Birthday Garry and Happy Belated Anniversary to John and Laurie.

Turner hasn't been himself for the last couple of days. Yesterday evening we went with some friends to see the Festival of Lights. It is a golf course community that has over 70 Christmas light displays and you drive through the community and park. It's about 90 minutes away and Turner slept al the way there and all the way back. We had pizzs at our friends house and then as soon as we got home, Turner threw up. He had a fever, chills and a headache too. He says he feels a little better this morning but has a sore throat. Hope this passes soon.

Bonnie - glad to see you posting and getting out some. Keep resting and gaining more strength.

Sally - sounds ike the house is finally coming together. The carpet sounds great!

Barb - The excitement is killing me about yur surprise and I'm not even going. You have worked so hard on this all year and I know everyone will be so surprised!! Don't leave without reporting in and letting us know how the reaction was!

Julie - hang in there until after Christmas but go befroe Jan. 1st to get the tax deduction!!!lol Hope Garry has a quiet night at work on his birthday.

Sandy - so glad you are better. So, this should be the last day for babysitting, right? Did Graci get over the croup? Turner always had several episodes of croup every year when he was younger. It could be very scary. A couple of times sent up to the emergency room.

Krista - so when do we come to your house for dinner? A big reunion with the gang there sounds great!

Jeanne - Have you found a dress for the big night out?

Denine - Don't you think you need to make just one more batch of cookies? (I haven't made even one batch this year!)

Laurie - hope you all had a great anniversary. If I remember correctly, John is in the jewelry business so he must be really busy this holiday season. Hope you all had some time together.

Darren - Haven't heard from you in a while. How was you time off and the show? We need a report.

Ok, I think I touched base with everyone. I will try to stay on top of things a little better now instead of being missing in action!

Chat again later!
:grouphug:

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Just wanted to stop in and wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!!

Bonnie- I am glad you are feeling better and able to move around a little bit more.

Happy Holidays

Good Morning!!

Only one more day to keep the BIG secret!! There has been so
many slip ups I will be surprised if the girls don't know. I will try and post tomorrow and let you know how it went. Mom is not leaving until Monday so between the 2 of us the details will be posted.

I am sosososososo excited I can hardly contain it.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!

I will try and write more later getting busy at work!!
