OK, we watched Samantha Brown. Didn't see either of our excursions. I'm sure tempted by the Dolphin encounter, which prompted me to check DCL site. Both ports offer it but I don't know which one I would switch at this point. Raised a question in my mind - what's the best way to pay for things (like the food extras) in those places? Do they accept US cash? Are credit cards safe?

I'm seeing that movie on Tuesday with a couple friends.

It is better to use credit cards in port because they use the best exchange rate in a 30 day period so you could save.

I did too, never get tired of it. It's a dark rainy day here so it was a good tv, movie day.

I was working football games all weekend and did not get to see the programs. We did see Jersy Boys on Sat. and it was soooooo good. Tommy could not go with me so Megan went. She asked where Annette Funicello was. I told her that was the wrong Frankie.

I'm finally going to do the Segway tour in Epcot next January.

When will you be there in January? I will be there with my brother and his family Jan 12 - 17. We are staying at BLT and Mike is staying at GF. He will be there for the builders convention. Mom and I are just tagging along. :0)

We're DVC members too! We own at SSR, but have never stayed there. Our first visit there will be after the cruise! I'm so jealous of all the members that own at multiple resorts! Maybe one day we'll get more points! lol!

We are at SSR after the cruise too. We have stayed there a couple of times and like it.

He did and I think it went well. Meg and I saw Jersy Boys and love it. We had football for the little ones all weekend. We get all of next weekend off and then it is every weekend until the cruise. I can not believe it is two months away. We can not wait.

Also, Ron made a good point about notifying your bank (debit cards) and credit card companies that you will be traveling and to which countries. They will keep an eye on things and will notify you if something doesn't look right. Also notifying them ahead of time will also prevent the embarrassment of getting a denial.

For those of you who have not been to Cozmel & Grand caymen, the travel channel has a show on right now with a RCCL ship going there!! I want Samantha Brown's job!!

Random fact about DH and myself, we were on that cruise the week they shot all of the B roll footage for Samantha. She wasn't on our cruise (her parts had been filmed the week prior to our trip), but we can be seen in a couple of the shots on Labadee.

This is not true (we were just there in June). Cash is king in Mexico so bring your cash you will get a better bargain on most everything. Actually CC's now charge an international exchange rate fee that pretty much wipes out any incentive to use CC for exchange rate purposes. So please check with your CC carrier before you rake up fees while traveling.
