Welcome David and family! :) We haven't come up with an official logo yet. My wife Jen, nenner1 on the Dis, is in the creative stages of trying to come up with one. :rolleyes1 I suppose that as we get closer to the cruise those who want to submit something can. Then we can vote on which one we want to be our official logo.:thumbsup2 Glad you like "Bring Back the Magic". :cool2:

Welcome David and family, great to have you onboard wih us!

Yeah Deb count me in too...tell us all about RCCL!

Ron and I are really stressing about the RCCL Oasis cruise we are supposed to be going on in January. My aunt is taking care of the planning and we are so afraid she is dropping the ball. We are not booked yet, group space (this is for my cousin's wedding) is sold out, prices are now as high as $1899/per PERSON!, and the ship is almost sold out. She is not the planning type like we are, and she thinks there will be plenty of rooms and cheaper prices when final payments are due at 90 days out! She just doesn't get it...
Needless to say this whoile thing is really stressing us out!:sad2:

About the logo...yea...I have a great idea I am just really having issues implementing it. I am fairly decent in photoshop but so far I haven't been able to satisfactorily put together on the screen what I have in my head. Not enough time...lol...and I so have to finish my TR too! :rolleyes1

Working on putting together something though. My disney graphics folder is massive...something like 5,000+ images...40GB now :scared: Just finding stuff is difficult! :rotfl:

Hello . . .sure did miss you guys last week :dance3:

We had a wonderful time on the Mariner of the Seas. This was our first cruise, so have nothing to compare too (especially Disney), but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There is plenty to do to keep you busy all day and all night (if you wanted). We participated in a few activities, went to some of the shows and spent some time out of the hussle-bustle and found quiet locations to sit and watch the ocean on sea days. We thought the food was good. The buffet (in the Windjammer) was plentyful with enough variety to satisfy. The main dining was excellent too. We also dined at the specialty restaurant Portofino's one night, and it was EXCELLENT. We enjoyed our time in each port (Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta). We snorkled in Chilino Bay in CSL, did a city tour in Mazatlan and went on a Zip-line Canopy tour in PV. My DH would say the highlight of our trip was the Zip-line excursion in PV. Excellent tour! I'm afraid of heights, but really wanted to try the zip-line and I had a BLAST!::yes::

The weather heading back to LA was cool and windy, which made the ship move more (our cabin was in the very front), but we didn't have a problem with seasickness. :cool2:

In a nutshell, if you would like to sail to the Mexican Rivera, we would recommend giving the Mariner a try.

Oh Nenner . . .I feel for you with your Oaisis cruise! At this point, with that ship . . .prices are only going to go up. Hope you get it all figured out soon pixiedust:

Here is a link to the post with the banners that I made. It's not our "official" cruise banner; just something I made from common graphics on these boards. You may use them if you wish. ;)

Hey . . .can anyone tell me when will I find my "land legs"? I still feel like I'm on the ship :rotfl: :dance3:

It took me about a week the first time around.

If i remember right the 2nd time it only took a couple days and the "spells" were pretty far apart.

I kind of like the feeling............
But i am whacked.

DEB...

Glad you enjoyed the Mariner. We live about 30 mnutes from the port in LA, so we are definitely going to cruise the Mariner at some point in time.

I LOVE THE ZIP-LINES too. I would be there for sure!

Randy

I thought the port were so beautiful on the rivierra.....not that the carribean isnt but something different about, was it the people, the coastline, cant put my finger on it.......My Dh says it was all the meds i was on while on that cruise as i had a head cold the whole cruise......IS he right???:confused3

Does any one who has done both......

A. FLy to your cruise...
B. Drive from home to the cruise (like close, FLorida or if you live close to another port)

Feel as if it is not as REAL of a vacation if you dont fly????

Is this just me????

I soooo much enjoyed our time in Disneyland before and after the cruise, maybe it was i got to spend sooo much time with the family....as i dont see the kids much on the ship.

I DUNNO!!!

I may make it a point to do a day or 2 before the cruise somewhere maybe Vero with the whole family!!!
Or Mnsshp one night Vero one night Raddison one night.....OR

Dizzi,
We live on the west coast of Florida, New Port Richey. We enjoy the fact that we live fairly close to the port.:cool1: What we like to do is leave a day early and spend a day & night at WDW. Get up early on the day of the cruise and drive over to the port to get checked in early and of course check out the ship. Then after we get back from our cruise we will usually go back to Disney World for another day or 2.:woohoo: Really stretch out the ol' vacation as long as we can. :thumbsup2
Well that was fun. now back to the ol' grind!!!!!:scared1:

Yeah i mean it is cool that we live soclose i am only about 2 hours 45min max from the port...
Buti thought i was really cool going to California, seeing the sights did Disney a couple days went on the cruise, did Disney a couple days and flew back.

But we also did Disney before our cruise here too.

Dont really know what we will do this time around.

Hey livingis2me, we are close.:thumbsup2 We have lived in New Port Richey going on 14 years now.:woohoo: When we first moved there wasn't much traffic, but now LOOKOUT!!!!:scared1::eek: DW and I ride in to work everyday, it helps to save on gas.:thumbsup2 We both work in Clearwater about 5 miles apart. She was able to get her hours at work to match mine so we could ride together. We take McMullen Booth road into work.
Well, it's that time, time to start working. Hope everyone has a good day today. See you again real soon. Keep having those Disney Dreams and having those Disney thoughts!!!:donald::dumbo::tigger::mickeyjum:tink::smickey:
