I purchased 2 scrapbook paper kits while on board and I also got the DCL scrapbook. I just couldn't pass it up and I knew I would regret it if I didn't get it LOL
and those 2 photos of castaway Cay are postcards...one I purchased on the island and one was in our stateroom.

I am sooo upo set about this stupid house thing.....

I thought i could handle the wait, but i cant.

Should i be more patient or just move on and look for something else????

i talked to our realtor and we are going to look tomorrow.
and continue to look until we either find something else or hear soemthing from the bank.

He told me it can take awhile especially in these economic times....for banks to settle on short sales here....

As they are waiting to see if they get a better bid and soemtimes depending on bank and house etc they will play a large waiting game...

I am not willing to play that game, we want to be in a house by summer, so we need to keepo looking.

BUT!!!

I dont think i can wait that long.........

Dh and i are thiking about doing a solo trip without the kids.
We are actually tossing around the idea of doing the Oct 11 cruise that some of our sailors are on.

It is just a dream right now but it may become a reality.
He is working sooo hard, we are not seeing each other too much right now.

That when his project is over we will deserve an alone vacation.

We have not had an alone vacation in almost 4 years. That was to Paris for 5 days. It is time!!!!

I've been well, thank you! So far I have avoided all colds, flu and "bugs" that the kids and DH have cycled through. Not to mention those at work! Whew!

Oh Paris was a dream....

Unchartered territory for us........i tired to do a lot of research but it was still..... ......... a foriegn country.

We got to go becasue My Dh was installing his equipment in the American Library in Paris. So his airfare and our hotel and his food were paid for. ALthough i had 2 days in which i had to take Paris in ALONE......It was an adventure.

I had lunch in this little cafe alone one day and out the window you could see the Eiffel Tower...........AMAZING!

Well we are removing our bid from the first house and placing a bid on another house.

It is $12,000 more BUT...................................

It has an INGROUND POOL!!!!!!!!
and an extra room/den area and a screened patio area.

ANd it isnt a short sale and it is EMPTY ready for us to move in!!!!!!

So we shall try this one more time!!!!
