Short story . . .Grad-nite 78 (I'm originally from CA ) was the last time during my childhood; I never got back to So. Cal (as an adult) for many, many years. . .. raising kids and all! I recently started getting together with girlfriends for what has become an annual girls-only trip to DL. We also took the kids for the first time in 2007 . . .they really want to go back sometime. We live so far away, it's not an easy (or cheap) trip to make. We have an RV and most our vacations are road trips to various locations around the country. But, I'm really enjoying being able to go with the "girls" now.

So, time, distance and circumstances kind of have dictated my ability to get there! I can't wait to go to WDW next year though

I bet the "girls" trips are really fun!!! wish I could do that too!

But this month we concentrate on the house....................still waiting to hear from the bank and if they have accepted our offer.

Well it is a a short sale meaning was getting ready to go into foreclosure.

So both the owner and the bank had to agree on the bid, the owner has agreed.

Now just waiting on bank, we have heard it can take weeks......

Wow! 100th page, already! I can only imagine how many we will be on once this cruise is actually on the radar. I'm sure we will be on our 4th or 5th chapter.

We are giving them until the 3rd week in February then we are going to look else where.

My DH is in Chicago will be home end of week then goes back Feb 9th for 2 weeks when he gets back if we have not heard anything we will start looking again!

I am a little up set that we have to even think abotu that, as we went and saw the house again and i really like it, but we also dont want to wait so long that the good rates are gone.

maybe you can call the bank and tell them that if they don't hurry they will lose this sale!!!!!!!! I agree, waiting that long is nuts and you might not get a good rate!!

SO in 3 weeks we got to the realtor and see whats next.

Dh is so busy the next 3 weeeks we really couldnt look at anything anyway, he goes to WV for a week and then chicago for 2 weeks
