Oh good so that is 2 more teens in the teen room with my kids i always worry that there wont be any other teens.

Are there other teens in with your other families as well?

I have 2 older children as well.

1 DD is married and 1DS is in a long term relationship.

My DS graduated from college this past May with a double major.

DD and her DH are getting ready to go to Paraguay to be missionaries.

DS #2 has done several missions to Africa and Thailand. He is in training to do more. He is really on fire to go spread the message.

I have a cousin and an Uncle who have been to Africa ...and they say it is life changing.

My Dd and her DH are excited to go they go for 6 months then home for 6 months then go back for a year and half.

They will be working in a school, they both have a heart for children.

This is what my DD has always talked about doing.

Hey everyone hope you are all doing well!

I know we've been quiet...its been very busy around this neck of the woods.
And cold, like Dizzi said. Unusually cold for these parts, as usually when we have cold fronts they come and its cold for a couple of days and then they go and it warms back up but it's been downright chilly for a couple weeks now.

Speaking of Dizzi sounds lie your trip was great! I remember just a few years ago (2001/02 and before) how dead Disney was in off times, yet the past few years there never really was a truly "dead" time. Even the totally off periods were fairly busy, I suppose due to the promotions and events they did to boost attendance during those times plus a bit of the tail wagging the dog...when ppl hear how great of a time it is to go on the internet they all decide to go then so it gets busier due to that. I had been hoping that with the economic downturn the crazy crowds may decrease and it sounds like that just may have happened.

So who all is cooking the BIG dinner this week???? (Me!Me!)

I had NEVER been in a DOWN TIMe and it was awesome....Funny though that the NEWBIES didnt really get it.
YEah and this cold thing ...... YUCK! i dont know if it is becasue of the cold or what but i am now SICK, head hurts, stuffy nose, sore throat.....uuugghhh

I have mixed emotions about Thanksgiving.
No i am not making the big dinner................WHICH I AM HAPPY about.

BUT

I dont have ANY family around here either, WHICH i am a little up set about, i think more for my kids than me, becasue they dont get to experinece BIG FAMILY HOLIDAYS.

We are actually going to clean my cafe on THanksgiving, while it is closed.
Most likely what i will be doing on Christams too!!!!

Been reading up on WDW resorts today. I really need to get up to speed . . .I have learned that the onsite resorts are, "value" Moderate" and "Deluxe" . . .ooh and DVC resorts. So much to learn

Yes there are many "layers" of resorts. We have stayed in Value and Moderate and DVC.

One day i hope to stay in DELUX.

I have enjoyed the Value Better then the Moderate but the DVC ones we stayed in were the best.

THe ones ilike the best were the ones in California so far but i stillhave alot to try here in Florida.

I can see that it could be overwhelming! I was looking at an aerial map of the area . ..wow! My friends are DVC members (SSR I believe, but will have to ask) We'll probably do fine at POP Century. We just need rooms to crash in for a few days before the cruise. It would be wonderful to explore all areas of the resort though . . . .ahh maybe someday.

THis week we spilt our time between SSR and POP.....

I did not like SSR and POP was fine for me.

We have also stayed at ALL STARS which i liked the best but we did have a GREAT ROOM at ALLSTAR SPORTSright directly in front of main pool and just across from the cafe!

CRazy i know but i have decided what i am going to make for the FE.

Now i can just take my time and make them.
