When i started the htread i just called it the dates cause i couldnt think of anything clever........

As far as the name goes, I don't really care.
But I think for the lanyards, we should all take a vote on what to put on them......will these be lanyards you will want to wear again? That should be taken into consideration.

I know this all seems a little silly to be so passionate about the title of a cruise meet thread. So when it comes down to it it can be called whatever ones heart desires. Whether you want it to represent something in your life, a special feeling you get or simply state where we are going. A meet thread's title will never be everything to everyone... Generally when I walk into a situation the name is what it is. I know it can be hard to embrace someone else's opinion when you didn't get a chance to put in your $.02 worth. I never embraced the name of our last cruise thread, but when others already took ownership in the name and seemed to take pride in it, it wasn't in me to rain their parade. It was just the name of the thread and in our scrap books we'll make mention to it, but we have our own name to that chapter of our lives.

Yes, "Bring Back the Magic" is a Jimmy Buffett song. I do get a little joy that comes over me when it comes on my ipod because it nows represents the forthcoming event in which I am most excited about. But to me it's not about the name of the song. It is about that feeling I get when I get to the top of that bridge and finally see the ship after waiting for so long. That feeling of goosebumps when they introduce our family on the boat. And most importantly, knowing that I was able to provide that magic to my family.

Call it what you will. We all know what boat we'll be on, we all know where we are going and we know all know what dates we'll be going. We can all refer to this chapter of our lives with our own splendid title.

you know I think you are right....no matter what the name is, its just a name after all its still a vacation that you get to meet wonderful people and possibly make new friends and something your family will remember always!!

Here it is after midnight and i just sat down............
shew long day.

But i am thinking it is quiet here and i could make 40 quick post and get to post 2600 but i wont............


I just spent about 3 hours working on making a day bay bed for my DD.

We went to the IKEA store last night and she saw a bedroom set for over $1000 that she would have loved to have..........

Well i just made the look alike bed and redid a tv cabinet we had to make a look alike for for under $150

And that included shelves for her walls and a long mirror for her walls,and some other little things that were in the room at IKEA.

Have to finish tomorrow!
