FYI - There is another thread running for DISers who want to meet at MNSSHP on October 16. We are going to meet in Tomorrowland, under the TTC and near Space Mountain where there are benches around 6:15/6:30p.m. or so. If anyone on this thread will be there on that night, please join us!

It was posted earlier that some of us are planning to meet at the TTA for the October 16th MNSSHP, but It looks like they are making people go to Adventureland and/or Frontierland from 6-7. I think we need to pick a new place to meet as we won't be able to get to the TTA. Any suggestions?

DD said today "Mommy, are we packed yet for Disney World?" and I said "no, not till this weekend" then DH chimes in and says to her "well, when we get dressed that day, we're just going to put on like three pairs of underwear, two pairs of pants, three shirts..." and DD7 says "We're only going three days!?!" Gotta love'm

I've given up on trying to count how many days because our departure day is a work day for DH and me and a school day for DS. So it still sort of "counts" as a normal day because we have to get through it BEFORE we go to the airport.

We'll be packing this weekend. DH informed me yesterday he doesn't think he has enough underwear. HELLO? We've been counting down from 274 days and you tell me the week before that you don't have everything you need?! Grrr. He is also having shoe issues. But I find it very hard to feel sorry for him because he KNEW this trip was coming and he has not chosen to use his time wisely.

SO excited about going back to WDW!!! Hope to meet lots of you there!

AUGHH!!! i couldn't be more excited over here and so is DH and with all the craziness, it seems that DD is picking up on it too!! 11 more days here! WOOHOO!!! i almost get to do the single digit dance!

We are down to 9 days too. I am almost packed, just the last minute stuff left. My dh had sock issues earlier this week. He has known about this trip since February and suddenly the socks he's been wearing are not good enough for Disney I went sock shopping yesterday and found him some microfiber socks. I think that we have purchased everything that we need too now.

ME too!!!!! I've made a countdown calendar for DD in July at 100+ days-printed calendar pages and we wrote the countdown days on each date. Then everynight (in theory...) we cover up the old countdown with a thumbprint photo from a prior trip. We haven't actually done it every night though so some nights we need to do several photos.

Anyways...DH tells me this weekend he needs new white undershirts (he'll probably only take one on the trip since it will be HOT) and new socks. I've been telling him that I HAVE to be pretty well packed by tonight so that I can see what fits in the suitcase and then we are shipping a box or 2 to the resort. I need to ship my box tomorrow if I want it to get there in time. I pack for me and 3 kids and all the extra stuff. He just packs for himself. I asked him all weekend to do it. AND...I am doing laundry so he only needs 4 outfits plus 1 to wear when we go out to dinner. He started this morning but didn't have time to pick underwear. And 1/2 of what he wanted to take was dirty. UGH. I just did all the laundry that was in the hamper last night including his new white T and socks that I purchased.

But that's not keeping me from getting very excited!

Wow, quite a few people going the same week in Oct (15-22), at the same place (POFQ) and displaying the same itinerary. I'll be on the lookout for the lime green mickey heads. Now, I gotta go and find one for us.

I'll be there with my DS - 2yo, DH and grandparents. Look for my DS to be the one running away and Mommy chasing him.

We're going for my 40th birthday on Oct 19th. I'll be at Epcot drinking my way around the world that day.

We might bump into you Monday afternoon at Epcot, Wednesday at MK, or around Pop.

MK closes early on Tuesday (7 PM) for a private party and there are MNSSHP several nights, too. You might want to keep that in mind if you are considering adding hopping. There might not be many places to hop to!
